  1. I finally bought a much-needed addition to the Black Pearl set off of Bricklink. I always felt the set was incomplete without Jack the monkey, so this guy will just have to do:
  2. I don't think that's confirmation of any sort that we're getting an add-on. It's just the basis for a contest meant for kids.
  3. Hahaha Oh, wait.....you're being serious...
  4. I must be blind, because I honestly can't see any misprinting on Delta 38's minifigs.
  5. There's something we can do about that: buy, buy, BUY! I imagine that the sales figures right now are crucial in LEGO's determination of how many future sets to develop. I'm planning on buying doubles of some sets just to throw in my support, as it were.
  6. I'm not sure...looks like an actual minifigure to me. Especially the cloth cape.
  7. I'm excited for the polybags as well; you can bet that the Uruk-hai set in particular will be gone just as soon as it hits. I'm planning on picking up at least 10 of them if possible.
  8. This is LEGO we're talking about - the hat was probably taken off for these photos, but I'm guessing it will still be included in the set.
  9. HJR, I was just going to bump this thread when I saw that you've already done it!! I'm SO glad that this project is now up on Cuusoo! Let's all get behind this one, guys. This would make such a great exclusive set shared between Disney parks, the Disney Store, and LEGO S@H. It would be great if we could stick it on the home page too!
  10. Huh. I always assumed that these constituted the 'Ultimate' sets: I do seem to remember seeing it somewhere before, but has LEGO weighed in on the topic (other than this poster)?
  11. I didn't realize there were so many different combination possibilities on the Uruk-hai. I think the designer said something like 55? Incredible!
  12. I think you guys might be reading into it too much. He was probably wondering what a "printed" helmet would look like on the normal minifig, similar to what we see on the microfig.
  13. I agree completely. It wouldn't surprise me to see a set like this in the first Hobbit wave.
  14. That's a good philosophy to have. Even though the ratio isn't great, it's still a very good set.
  15. I'm still drooling over that designer video... Must....build...armies!!
  16. They should be similar, but not the same- the two characters have different enough features to warrant two face prints.
  17. Yeah, it is. It's actually the largest of all the major OT starfighters, which is why I wouldn't completely rule out the possibility of it being in minifig-scale:
  18. Obviously not, but it's a safe bet that the book is being released because of the film. I wasn't looking to start an argument in any case.
  19. I'd say it's a pretty good indication of Episode II sets to come, given that we saw this book released at the same time last year in the lead-up to Episode I's 3D release. With the Episode II 3D release just around the corner, it's a pretty safe bet that we'll be seeing AotC sets.
  20. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but Amazon now lists a book called 'LEGO Star Wars: Anakin to the Rescue' that's slated for a September release. The cover art points quite strongly to new Episode II sets. LEGO Star Wars: Anakin to the Rescue
  21. To me, that teaser picture points to the fact that it will be minifigure-scale. The X-Wing and TIE Fighter that were teased in the same photo both are, so it only makes sense.
  22. Nice review! That "Extra Pieces" picture made me chuckle.
  23. While I don't agree that the exclusive set is the "main highlight" of the Inside Tour, I see what you're saying. But it's not as if Lego is giving away a lot of them through contests; it's probably a part of the limited edition run, after all.
