  1. It's kinda hard to see amidst all those posts asking about the release date. So, when will the sets be released again? I had the same thought, it took me a minute to realise who that is. It's really not the best choice for his hair piece, let's hope it's not the last time we see Peter in a set.
  2. That carriage might be the best HP set of the year actually. I really liked the FB one, but the Beauxbaton knocks it out of the park Definitely buying multiples to get more abraxans Rise of Voldemort looks good too, I'm ok with the "KKK" death eater design, there's no reason to not be screen accurate. And if it really has baby Voldemort, it's a must buy.
  3. The press release states the minifigures are new for June, I think that should settle the matter Makes sense to me, if the D2C Batmobile is confirmed for August. If that's the case, what a streak! Kinda weird though, It'd make a bit more sense to release JP in June along with other sets and have Stranger Things in July, closer to the third season's premiere
  4. I'm just hoping it'll be before september. I have two weeks of house sitting planned in august and it would be so great if this were to be the set I'd get to build. Of course there are alternatives (Stranger Things and possibly Ideas Treehouse) but Jurassic Park was one of the biggest parts of my childhood. There's no chance I'm missing on this set.
  5. I might be the only one to imagine it in greyish green, then most likely due to the lighting in the task scene, which does make the tan bits look slightly greenish. Looking at the model itself though, I have to admit I was simply wrong
  6. What I actually find the most jarring with the horntail isn't its head, it's the fact that it's just a brick-built remake of the dragon from 4767, complete with the same wing mold. It should've been more faithful to the screen appearance with as much posability of the wings as possible and a bit brighter color (olve green with dark tan should be right). Other than that, I don't have any major gripes with other sets, only nitpicks and wishes for more characters and better prices Excellent wave!
  7. It's been discussed and not yet ruled out, although the leaked figures suggest it will be in normal scale. Alright, new theory because I have to crack this before it's revealed : the set follows just the scenario of Nedry cutting the power off and the effort to bring it back, which would serve as a "prelude" to 75932. Included are only characters that were inside Visitor Centre while Alan with kids were on the island, so the four we already know about, Ellie Sattler and Muldoon (I'm also hoping for dr Wu, although it's unlikely with this set up). This should allow for a better representation of the building, with sidebuilds being only Nedry's Jeep and the area where he met the spitter. Inside the VC: lobby, control room, cold storage (it's already in the other set, but it needs to be there for Nedry to steal the embryos), bunker, tunnel with the power switches. Theatre, hatchery and gift shop might be ommitted due to lack of space and/or no relation to the scenario, although I hope the building will be large enough for them to fit in. Two dinosaurs, dilophosaurus for Nedry and velociraptor which kills Muldoon and chases Ellie; possibly also a baby raptor if there is the hatchery. Might still be a stretch to have two dinos, but it's not too crazy. I think a similar set would be Silent Mary, it has a pair of zombie sharks (which are about the same size as a raptor) and eight exclusive minifigs, and still it wasn't too pricey, especially for a Disney property (200$ for 2300 pieces). Visitor Centre has a slightly better price to piece ratio, but this version would have six, maybe seven figs.
  8. Cool, it may have a better chance now that the new animated movie is coming out this fall and the submitter shrunk the project to acceptable size (first, not approved version had over 7k pieces, way over the limit). Hopefully the upcoming Hidden Side theme won't tamper with this chance.
  9. What Nedry took isn't a tour car, it's the Jeep, only with a hood on and lights attached Just checked the movie to be sure
  10. I can't tell which one you got mixed up, the characters or the cars Nedry takes the Jeep, Ian is in the tour car with Alan. Also Ellie, Ian and Muldoon in the "must go faster" scene are in the second Jeep. Yeah, if the muddy versions leaked, that would set rexy's appearance in stone. Until then though we kind of have to assume she won't be in the set, the price is too good for a big dino mold
  11. A blurry picture of advent calendar is up on IG. What is this white thing on the right and why does it look like it has a cape?
  12. I admit, my prediction largely ignores the price Whishing a Lego set isn't too cheap, that's a first world problem right there
  13. We may not get any JP sets in the future, though. JW theme is very unpredictable, first wave was only Jurassic World, second - Fallen Kingdom and one odd JP set, this year some Legend of Isla Nublar, which no one saw coming. The theme is likely to continue until JW3 comes out, but we can't be sure there will be more original trilogy sets. That's why people (including me) want this D2C to be as complete as possible, in case it's the last JP set. I believe LEGO designed Nedry and Malcolm to be scene specific (Nedry's venom covered face complete with yellow jacket instead of grey one he has in the control room, sweaty Malcolm in unbuttoned shirt which is after the T-rex attack) for a reason, meaning there's possibly more in this set than just Visitor Centre. My current prediction is MBS style (maybe even with the branding on the box) Jurassic Park Tour, which will allow for the entire scenario of Nedry's little "heist" and subsequent dinos' breakout to be played out. It would include a rather scaled down Visitor Centre with just few essential rooms - lobby, control room, lab, maybe theatre; outside there'd be JP gate, T-rex paddock and the area where the dilophosaurus attacks Nedry; ideally we'd get all four cars, but one Jeep and one tour car are most likely. In this case, T-rex and dilo are a given, there's a small chance for a second raptor (to pair with the one from 75932) and maybe a triceratops if the designers wanted the tour to be complete.
  14. Ditto. I mean, it's a better option than it being I'm not entirely against microscale in general, in some cases like Hogwarts it makes some sort of sense. But really a JP set without a dinosaur would be simply... lame. I hope LEGO understands that and they didn't cheap out. Luckily, the leaked heads do suggest they didn't, especially Nedry's venom covered side, which makes dilophosaurus' presence a very strong possibility. If the dilo's in the set, it stands to reason to also expect more prominent dinosaurs, especially the T-rex, and maybe triceratops too, if we're lucky. Raptors could be ommited if the set is centered around the Nedry's sabotage and rexy's breakout.
  15. I'm simply blown away, I was ready to abandon any hope for this set to be actually based on JP and all of a sudden these heads and torsos have appeared. And they look great! No more dreams and speculations, true LEGO Jurassic Park (not just one scene) is finally coming! 3120 pieces for €250 though, still sounds way too good to be true. I can't shake the feeling one of those numbers is simply false, but boy do I wish to be proven wrong.
  16. Huh. In that case, that's a really neat event! Hope it's worldwide, I'd love to get my hands on those coral pieces before guys like this pick everything out...
  17. New info on IG states that the Clocktower will have two more minifigs that we haven't seen yet. One must be Yule Ball Hermione, but who's the other one? Did I miss a leak or is it just not known yet?
  18. That seems like the most likely scenario, what with those few new pieces. I guess you'd have to be extremely lucky (or just know a guy from the store) to come across such an occasion
  19. This guy's haul, is it even possible? There are so many parts here I would never imagine being sold in PAB, especially if they're in the new color. If it really is current PAB stock in Orlando, why is it not like that anywhere else? I visited Manchester store recently and the selection had nothing out of the ordinary.
  20. UFO carousel - doesn't do much for me, maybe due to the fact that I don't like when technic beams are so prominent in what should be a system build I will wait with final judgement until better pictures or reviews are available Twin rotor - might be interesting, it should be about as big as the air drop heli from 60162 (it has the same canopy) and it looks like a play feature will make both rotors spin at the same time; secondary builds look quite alright, too. I like the color scheme, finally something different than plain blue. Townhouse - it's briliant, a worthy succesor to 31036, 31050 and 31065. Maybe it's a bit hodgepodge-y with four colour schemes, but still miles better than the "modulars" with swappable doors and windows. It's weird though there are no animals shown with the pet shop
  21. The coins themselves would probably cost the entire Scrooge's fortune I'm aware we couldn't possibly get all the chrome gold coins, but I don't think pearl gold round tiles would look terrible at all. Besides the designer would have to cheat a little with the money pool, because even a thousand studs poured on the Bin's floor wouldn't be even remotely deep enough to swim in. I imagine there would be buildable stacks of gold ingots, paper money, treasure chests etc leaving a small portion of the vault "swimmable".
  22. Wait, what if the D2C is the Money Bin? If it was the size of a creator modular, the proposed 2925 piece count would actually check out - about 2400 parts for the building (maybe less, the outside isn't packed with details) and 500 golden studs, coins, jewels and what have you for Scrooge to dive into It's a small chance, but we've latched onto the idea this set has to relate to Disney Castle, while in reality it certainly doesn't. Now that the new duck moulds exist, the Bin isn't a bit farfetched.
  23. half past never Quite peculiar selection, and by that I mean literally only SIX characters from Disney Animated Canon (there were nine last time). I can't deny though the ones that were chosen are done pretty well. Jack is easily the best, followed by Chip and Dale, Frozone and Jafar. Edna is excellent, her frown face is spot on, but I have a feeling the eye printing on the glasses will have the usual problem of a bright print on a black piece - I hope I'm wrong. The weakest IMO is Hercules, the designers should have gone for a slightly more cartoony face seeing how they've done (and succeeded) with Jafar or Frozone. He looks way off, especially next to Hades.
  24. probably LEGO would have to pay additional fee to use the font, meaning another 10 bucks to the price. I think we're better off without it
  25. They're at it again with a missing character on a printed tile Overall I think it turned out great. The build is way more substantial than the original project yet it retains its general shape rather than make the boat completely screen accurate, which is noticably longer: €80 though... would be acceptable if they'd added bigfig Pete. Compared to The Flintstones, which have pretty much the same piece count and two more minifigs for €20 less - that's just greed
