  1. What sort of heathen would eat meat that- oh! Yeahhhhhh. We don't really do that. Our rats are frequently killed with poison, so they're not great for digestion.
  2. And it looks like a smoked version of the meat he's holding!
  3. A really nice build, and a great history lesson. Our buccaneers will have their bacon soon enough!
  4. He's a rat, no? No rest for the wicked. Thanks guys!
  5. Yep, Lugbulk a couple of years ago. But I always had the idea to do a rat-catcher's shop like this. Thanks. I figured I'd go all-in on the rats, and the lamp just seemed appropriate. Thanks. I figured a nice shingle roof would work well for this building, and I didn't think I had the parts to make it a double-pitch.
  6. And now also a rat-catcher: Licensed as a medium artisan.
  7. "It's not enough!" yelled the Canon. Monsieur Gallo knew better than to interrupt him. "Meloche's influence still lingers over those Isles. Heresy is everywhere, and all we have to fight it are spies among our own people? A lowly rat-catcher?" "He is dedicated..." the notary volunteered, reluctantly. "And so he should be!" his master retorted. "Bertrand would've swung for murder if not for me. But that is not the point! How are we going to convert the heathens if we do not take action?" Gallo shrugged inwardly. It was not his place to strategise. "Then what does your eminence intend?" he ventured. "More," Canon François responded, "we must do more..."
  8. Have you been snooping on my Flickr account? I just had a fort ready to upload. Hope you can reach a decision quickly.
  9. I really like the chap with the orange hair. That's a neat combo I hadn't seen before.
  10. I believe this would be considered "Taking Without Consent" - TWOCing - or joy-riding.
  11. A really lovely build. I'm getting Sharpe vibes.
  12. It's an excellent little fort. Those angles can't have been easy, but you've managed them really well. Maximum effort!
  13. It's fair to point out that this is a colonial war (practically a proxy war). There's no conflict back home.
  14. A really nice clean design. As always. Great work!
  15. My main thing is the Knights Treasurer; a Crusading Order of Knights of Hades. Right now they're in Kingsport, digging in heavily.
  16. @ChidJ I'm late to the party, but welcome to Oleon! Until my absence my Sig, Canon François, was one of the leading religious figures within Oleon. I'm glad to see you're carrying on this tradition, and would be happy to work with you if you'd like to develop any plotlines together.
  17. Fair criticism, and yet a lot of your own faction members are guilty of the same criteria. I assume you're picking me up on it because I'm a judge and they aren't?
  18. Wait, has this whole thing just been a really terrible innuendo stretched out for far too long?
  19. I was a bit gutted to have to redo the vegetation when this build needed to move from Trandosha to Uyter, but I think it did reasonably well.
  20. *Your entry has earned 16 XP* By the time I got back, CorSec's inspectors seemed to be largely satisfied, and I was able to get the deal logged. Took the participants up to an old retreat centre that once belonged to Uyter's Department for Agriculture. Seemed a fitting spot to seal the agreement. And with that, Uyter had a guaranteed purchaser for future harvests, CorSec had a vested interest in keeping the situation stable in our corner of the galaxy, and Clan Eldar had a decent revenue stream that wasn't dependant on bounty hunting or mercenary contracts. Agreements like this don't get a whole lot of attention when it comes to writing the history books, but trust me, this deal was the cornerstone of all of Clan Eldar's efforts in this sector.
  21. I really love the weathered look you've added. It's a very solid looking building. And I'm glad you added a piece to space out the Rodian's neck just a little.
  22. Yep, not sure where all these yellow guys came from, but I hadn't had a chance to use them yet, so in they went. My favourite thing was all the archways and nested details, like the domes and the arched bricks at the top of the wall. Thanks! I do like it when a Lego build has a nice clean aspect. Usually I leave them a few days before photographing, and there's a fine layer of dust.
