  1. @n1majneb It's a mining guild TIE. They were in Rebels, yes. @Professor Thaum was in the mining guild, and this series finishes off his involvement with the game faction of the same name.

  3. *Your entry has earned 4 XP* For my second build I'm choosing the "Try to meet with the Blue Moon gang" option. A human in charge of the Sherrif's office indicated serious cachet with the powers-that-be. I got a whiff of ex-imperial, but I'm not one to judge. Probably at the root of his inability to get control of his precinct, though. A lifetime in jackboots can leave you with a certain... inflexibility. Anyway, he put me onto a couple of the local gangs. The Harvesters were the established power in the region. But the Blue Moons were wrestling for the turf. It's a situation I've seen a million times; rival powers fight over the same region and, as long as they're at it, the region suffers. The way I figured, if we took the new guys out of the equation, the Harvesters could relax back into their organised crime role, and my new friend the Sherrif could focus on the petty, obvious crimes instead. So, I got the Sherrif to put me in touch with one of his informers, see if they could get me an in with the Blue Moons. He set the meet up in a graveyard - charming - and I strolled headfirst into a gang war.
  4. Pretty funny story! Glad you could use that build well. I feel a bit gutted that you won't be able to make more use of those Mining Guild tiles.
  5. I originally put both trees on the same base as the ship. Then realised that I couldn't see my careful ship detailing at all. They were quite fun to build though. You will need lots of 1x1 round plates with holes through the centre for support rods. Plus white minifig guns...
  6. *Your entry has earned 14 XP* Spent some time on Krownest after the liberation of Mandalore. Ardé had grown a bit of a reputation, and was looking for ways to bolster the system. She took me to a junkyard and showed me a number of ships. Wreckage of far too many wars that had rolled over this corner of the galaxy. Well, with a little bit of tender loving care, she reckoned she could get those ships flying again. A little defence fleet for the planet, or part of something larger for the system. I told her I would put in a good word with the Duchess. In times like these, we all need friends we can rely on.
  7. Some really nice builds. Kudos. The mission is picking up pace.
  8. Thanks! I'm trying to build an old Republic Navy trooper minifig, but it's really hard to get parts that look right. I'll post in Discord sooner or later... I thought about it, but the purist in me hated the idea. Let me know if you try it. I'd love to see how it goes.
  9. There is a lot going on here, but I quite like it. Looks like a proper jungle!
  10. Classic Star Wars. "Let the Wookiee win."
  11. An auspicious start. You've done really well at carving out a story for your characters. May the force be with you, always.
  12. OK, I've done my first response: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/182821-s8-iotra-ce-cyoa-an-iotran-embassy/
  13. *Your entry has earned 7 XP* This is the thread for all of my "The Lone Stormtrooper" CYOA entries. For my first build I'm picking the "This town is in shambles!" option. Things quietened down a lot after that. The Clan was settling into territorial government. Gone were the days as a roving warband. I began dreaming of that retirement again... But I wasn't about to leave those guys in the lurch. Started recruiting the next generation of Mandalore diplomatic corps. And when they were ready I sent them off to handle missions across the galaxy. Make us some new friends. But, as our most experienced ambassador, I'd saved the hardest job for myself. The Iotran Expanse sits right in the middle of the area we'd earmarked as a buffer zone. Even worse; Iotrans are a highly militaristic society, and they idolised the Empire. The last thing I wanted was for Clan Eldar to find themselves dragged into a war of attrition with these guys. So I set off to find some common ground with them. Maybe a mutual-assistance treaty? Or perhaps a contract to guard something or other? All fun and games. What hopes I had died a surly death when I stepped out of the spaceport. That whole "industrial degradation" chic that most Outer-Rim docks seem to have? Yeah, that was the whole planet. Well, I figured they might have need of a talker for once, so I decided to make the rounds with the local honcho; introduce myself.
  14. Great work Sim. But then I'd expect nothing less...
  15. A nice little build. The Triumvirate have moved a long way from those cropped military haircuts though, eh? I would love it if someone introduced a new character as the Triumvirate's first barber. You can even use the trooper from this build:
  16. A nice little build. My next challenge for you is to look at ways you can put new angles into your builds, rather than having everything at 90° to each other.
  17. A great little build. I wish the photo was larger and the font was smaller. I'd also recommend putting a bit more light in your photos. But this is really good.
  18. That factory wouldn't be producing Darth Vader busts, would it? It's a key part of my SigFig's backstory.
  19. I dropped a not on the Flickr post as well, but I think this is a really nice bit of architecture. I know the build is doubling for Bogano. It would be nice to see some of that verticality that you get there as well.
  20. It's really tragic that this is the first time we've been able to use our Sig's skills in this game, and yet it feels like the least appropriate choice for Fnab. He's far more likely to head to the bar or leave for somewhere nicer. Nonetheless, I wanna see what happens if I take that route, so I'll build me a sherif.
  21. Thanks for including Helmut in this post. I use him as a character in a lot of different places, and this is one of the best fits for him. His heraldry is usually a black falcon on a yellow field, so everything falls into place here.
  22. A really nice build, but once again my eye is drawn to the fact that that office chair has no base. Is this a new Triumvirate thing? Everyone sits on the floor now?
  23. A really neat series. The only thing that stuck out was the chairs in the waiting room. They could do with being raised by a plate or two.
  24. *Your entry has earned 5 XP* Well, here's what Kite told us; some of her people had intercepted a renegade Mando, who was earning blood-money from the Imperials. Apparently they had attacked a storage facility on Onderon and stolen the beskar there. Now, as you're probably aware, all beskar ultimately comes from Mandalore or the planets directly under it's control. But here's where it gets worse: Because if Malachor is where the Mandalorian crusades ended, then Dxun (Onderon's moon) is where they began. The highpoint of our civilisation. There's plenty of beskar there, but it's all buried with the warriors who fell wearing it - a relic of a time when there was plenty of the stuff to go around. So, while there was beskar in that storage facility; it's there because at some point, someone desecrated the graves of Mandalorian ancestors, looted their armour and melted it down. And the Imperials had the gall to claim it was theirs. So, yeah, Clan Eldar weren't about to walk away from this one.
