MOC - Motorised Hogwarts Express 2018 Refine/Rebuild
Cylo replied to ZANTHERA's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Really sleek train and nice build! The motor was well hidden! -
I agree with you on the scene with Poe and Hux. It was just sad. Personally, I didn't enjoy the recent movies as much as the OT or Ep I II III
-
Disney please don't stuff this up we know you're bringing clone wars back so don't stuff that up too
-
Have some cold drinks and air con on. And I agree fans definitely help.

[WIP] BMW i8

I'm absolutely stunned. At first you see the first picture and you think not much is going on, but then you see the end result. Keep up the hard work! -

Good job! You did well on building the headlights as well as maintaining the sleek look throughout the build! -
This is a discussion for unique lego misprints, mistakes and prototypes. TLG is renowned for its quality bricks, but sometimes a misprint or mistake can slip by, and therefore be worth a lot. As for prototypes, I'm not sure how people acquire them, but maybe they work in the LEGO factory? Please tell me as I would love to have one, but they do cost a lot, as a single helmet piece can cost you a whopping 600 dollars! My heart says yes, but my wallet says no way. Ok, so I found a few listings on eBay and this one seller does seem to have an interesting collection of them. And once again, I'm wondering how he got them. (Unfortunately I don't have any)

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Cylo replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You open the mouth by pushing the tail I feel that when the porg has its mouth closed it kinda looks weird but does look really cute once you open his mouth -
I'd say this is an average set as the one big problem is if you look at it from the side it looks like it's been cut in half However, there is a great selection of minifigs

Awesome set, my favorite part is the Ford Anglia! Great review too!

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Cylo replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I do still think it is a better alternative to the older model due to its updated landing gear and also a ramp even though the surface isn't flat. Will also be getting the X wing although I don't really like the "Thing" sticking out on the bottom that closes the wings. It just looks really odd and I would probably remove it. -
Thanks! I will! And I agree with you with weapons turning out too big. I tried numerous designs for this. And the cannon operated by the stormtrooper? That was meant to be a lot smaller but I guess I got carried away!

[MOC] UCS Nebulon-b frigate (by Dranac, feat. onecase))
Cylo replied to Dranac's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This may not be my favorite ship in the star wars galaxy but you've surely done a great job turning it into lego bricks! -
Really good build! Captures the diorama of scarif perfectly Perhaps include another shot on the back of the build? (the base where the stormtroopers come out from)

[MOC] T47 Snowspeeder / E-wing / Resistance Troop Transport
Cylo replied to YodaSkate's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Oh ok I get what you're trying to do now! Compared with that, your model makes a lot more sense. Good job! -
Today I present you the Lego Incinerator Stormtrooper and a Moc to go along with it. Here is the stormtrooper: Incinerator Stormtroopers use flamethrowers as their main weapon but also has detonators and E-11 blasters. Here is the Wikipedia description- This is mainly an idea I would like to share with you but I thought it would be cool to include it in some sort of battlefield so here it is! I came up with it when I was on the internet and saw some cool looking blasters, and I was like "Cool, I want to build some too!" And then I built a flamethrower. I tried looking for a flame trooper to go with it, and the incinerator Stormtrooper was perfect. The stormtroopers using flamethrowers to charr the ground and everything else on it Its a cannon! Should I make more custom figs and was adding the Moc part interesting? I would like to know so I know what to do for other creations. Thanks for viewing and I hope you enjoyed it!

Glad you liked it!

Thanks! And no, the cockpit remains the same, I only changed the wings
-
Note: I know it's a patrol trooper I just couldn't find one for a stormtrooper Hope you found that one funny!

And it's here! After an hour of hard work (not really) I present to you a Tie Interceptor!!! Made out of only the bricks from 75211 with 8 pieces to spare. Here is a pilot for scale Edit: The 2 light bley 1x6 tiles aren't part of the set The wing connections are very sturdy but the sharp pointed panels aren't really. Any suggestions? These are the spare pieces Some more pics on different angles The cockpit also stays the same Just made a stand for it Let me know in the comments of what you think Thanks for looking!

MOC: Just a humble 0-8-0T... (Flensburger Kreisbahn No. 1 in 1:22.5 scale)

There are some really nice details on the train! But personally the tires look a little weird as boilers.- 54 replies
