Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

Hmm I have been hoping for lower prices on bricklink. I need heads for my demogorgon bodies (ripped from cheap keychains). We shall see. Edit: just realized the Christmas Calendar Groot is a bit different from the One before. It has a different green. -

The upcoming Christmas calendar has a teen groot in dark tan. This will make cheap army building possible with dryads or little Ents or whatever you wish to call it. -
It is kind of hard to give praise after so many have done it. As someone from the niche of customizers I have spend a lot of time looking at non-official fig Designs and I have always thought yours to be truly outstanding. You always hit the right spot between being to similar to existing products and too far off in creative freedom. I hope making this unique contribution to the Lego universe was as fulfilling for you as it was Fun for us. Good luck for whatever you do next.

Awesome! I like all the banners.

Thank you everybody! Wohoo, this got frontpaged! A rare honor for a customizer!

Thank you. Yes, exactly. Well spotted!

Silver Lords (revisited 2022) Silver Lords (revisited 2022) by MWardancer, auf Flickr Silver Lord Standard Bearer by MWardancer, auf Flickr Customization Notes: Revisiting old models in this case meant making the best cavallery I can possibly make. In the 2022 revisitation, the horse helmets got wings (which I cut off some official LEGO helmets). The lances got little flags which are cut from whips. Also I wanted to give each horse a unique color. The gray horse and the tan one are China knockoffs for about 1 Euro each. The dark orange one is official. I had just finished painting a dark orange one when the the official one was released. The helmets are from nicebricks in Monaco. The capes were made by a dear friend of mine in England. The horse caparisons are official parts. I bought four of the castle sets with the caparison set and sold them without. The round stickers are official as well. The lances are old classics of mine. The hoof armor is cut from Brickwarrior's vambraces. The armor is a painted Atlantis emperor armor. The banner is of course from Nexo. All my regiments will get some. The daggers are from Brickwarriors. So yeah, I cannot make better horses than that. This is probably the most expensive regiment I have.

My favourite shields are of course the Forest Maiden and the CMF Elf (of which I bought 70 when they came out). And the golden eye shield from the goblin king for my dark elves. My favourite official armor is the Atlantis Emperor armor.

The new Avatar sets include the long minifig legs (from Toy Story initially) in dark tan. Besides being useful for my dryad faction, this can maybe make some very tall civilians, maybe the drunk town giant of something. From the new creatures the Toruk‘s head looks the most interesting. I could imagine making some new beast from it, but I see everything from s customizer‘s perspective. Also I am going to slap some wings onto the new 6-legged horse and male a weird pegasus for my dark elves. -

I think it is safe to say that denying the minifig identity to a skeleton is very mortophobe and not in line with recent diversity, inclusion and equity (d.i.e.) policies.- 2,976 replies

Forest Hydra Terroria Pentahavoc Forest Hydra Terroria Pentahavoc by MWardancer, auf Flickr Forest Hydra Terroria Pentahavoc by MWardancer, auf Flickr Forest Hydra Terroria Pentahavoc by MWardancer, auf Flickr Too... many... heads! In the deepest of forest the rare Forest Hydra Pentahavoc Terroria is the apex predator. In times of despair the Wood Elves ask the creatures to join them in battle. A plea usually all heads accept in unison. Customization Notes: - Body: The body is an old Triceratops' body. I drilled holes in it to attach the necks and wings. - Wings: These are from the Hungarian Horntail. It was quite challenging to attach them, but I like the result. They can move and rotate. - Necks: Some of the necks are painted dragon necks, some are the new reddish brown tube. Some necks can rotate. - Heads: From the new Hungarian Horntail. I had to paint the lower jaws. Leaves are also painted. Heads can rotate and bow. - Tail: From the old Hungarian Horntail. - Grass: From Bluebrixx Germany.

Demogorgons are now available as affordable keychains. Rip off the chain and you can army build them. I have ordered six already to make dryads. -

Take the Baronyx‘ body, slap on a longer neck and the wings and the armored head from the old green castle Dragon and you have a nice new slim forest dragon. -

The moon warrior‘s color scheme is a bit weird, bit I just realized the shield is translucent, which I like. A cape would be nice. I Wonder of the sword is translucent, too.
