  1. The price was clearly stated as $4.99 USD at Comic-Con. New Zealand's prices aren't always exactly in line with exchange rates.
  2. Without going too much into rumored plot points for Jurassic World, it does sound as if there will indeed be something bigger.
  3. Gorilla Grodd, hands down, for me. I'd get it just for Wonder Woman's jet, but a Bat-Mech is just too ridiculous (in a good way!) to pass up.
  4. The floor color is Nougat, which is still a pretty rare color for basic parts. Only the Simpsons House (the garage door) and Mos Eisley Cantina (the landspeeder) have featured Nougat plates - so far. If you're looking for a good way to expand the interior, well... just keep an eye out for October's store calendar next week, that's all I'll say.
  5. After another look, I can confirm the Genie and Dino Tracker both appear to have the same hairpiece, which has a long, slightly wavy ponytail (not braided). I'm pretty sure it's a brand new piece. The Dino Tracker's is solid dark brown, while the Genie's has a gold hairband printed on. Keep in mind these were drawings, though, so they might not quite match the final product.
  6. The new LEGO Club Junior magazine has a picture of all the Series 12 minifigs (drawings, not photographs). It confirms the Pizza Delivery Guy has short sleeves, and if I recall correctly the Genie is shown from the back, but I don't have the picture in front of me right now so can't confirm the hairpiece. If one of you is planning on going to a LEGO store today, might as well pick one up and take a look.
  7. I have precisely one idea for a future DC Comics Super Heroes set.
  8. Globert's eye does seem to be a GitD 4x4 radar dish, and I wouldn't be surprised to see more of the 1x1 round tiles from the Fairground Mixer show up in the tribe as well.
  9. Everything after the Toy Shop has had stickers.
  10. Here's your futuristic firetruck
  11. According to Neoape, the two new tribes are called Orbitonz and Glowkies. No idea where they got that, though; Neoape's not a big fan of crediting sources.
  12. Yeah, I was thinking Earth Blue + White Glow = night-themed tribe. The lighting makes it hard to tell what color Globert's toes are; I think either Aqua or White Glow. Would love to see the latter, I'm always on the lookout for new varieties of cheese.
  13. I picked up 31026 on Monday and it too has a minifig on the Win page - the person in the orange jacket from the set itself, except with the classic smiley face.
  14. Yes, it's definitely this one. So if you have to have it on day one, make plans for a trip to the LEGO store tomorrow.
  15. Nope, it's from Batman vs. Superman - the director posted that picture today. Gotham takes place when Bruce Wayne is still just a kid, so there won't be a Batmobile on that show.
  16. Also, a church isn't a civic building unless you live in a theocracy. Public library is another possibility though.
  17. There wasn't one. There were never clues, it was just hindsight bias.
  18. After spending a combined total of 8 hours putting this together (and I could have done it in one sitting if it weren't for that whole "going to work" thing), I have two pieces of advice: 1. Make sure you have good lighting on the instructions because good lord that is a lot of brown. 2. When you get to bags 7 and 8, build the treads first just to get them out of the way. Over three hundred of those little link pieces. But you probably could have guessed both of those.
  19. There was speculation about a restaurant since before the Palace Cinema even came out because of a vague post Jamie Berard made on the LEGO message boards, but from what I can tell, the name of the Parisian Restaurant first surfaced last July, we got pictures in October, and it of course came out in January.
  20. Shipwrecked A large pirate ship has been torn apart by a massive storm (or maybe a sea monster?), with various members of the crew and pieces of the ship washing ashore on several different islands. In order to survive in their new surroundings, the pirates have built an array of rafts, weapons, and shelters out of the remains of the ship combined with the trees, rocks, and other debris found on the islands. All sets in this theme would be 2-in-1: a structure or vehicle (e.g. tree fort, weapons cart, fishing boat) cobbled together from the wreckage for the main model, and a B-model that uses the parts to build a section of the original ship. This way, one could collect all the sets and combine them into the pre-wrecked ship.
  21. Reportedly a waltzer set is coming soon - "fair" as in "fairground ride."
  22. Since the translucent parts are made of a harder plastic, the connection between two of them is too stiff to hold up to the stresses of moving minifigure parts. That's why, when translucent parts do show up on minifigs, they're connected to opaque parts. Probably the most we could hope for in terms of Invisible Woman or force ghosts and the like would be clear heads, arms, and legs with opaque ABS hips, torsos, and hands.
  23. It wasn't "renamed," Hulkbuster and Igor are two different armors.Er, see above.
  24. All reliable indicators point to the Town Hall being next to go. Just because the first three modulars retired in the order they were released is no guarantee it will always be that way - three data points don't exactly establish a foolproof model.
  25. Every part except for the minifig's torso is available to purchase through Bricks & Pieces. The only other exclusive elements are the "LEGO House" printed tile and Transparent 1x1 tiles.
