I really am hoping for a Lizard, Kraven and Rhino to fill out the Sinister Six from USM. And of course White Tiger. She MUST be included or the whole line will feel utterly lacking. I appreciate they want to keep stringing us along with one team member per year, but next year is year four so she is a must. If they can fulfil those two teams and give us any sort of spidey variations, they will be satisfying this collector ;) And not to beat a dead horse, but I really think a $200 set with the type of build that would necessarily be associated with it precludes any discussion of the TDK Joker being kid friendly. This doesn't sound like a set for kids. Ergo, the set can include figs that may, for some, evoke non kid friendly themes. It's not like it's a Juniors set :p

Who says Ledger Joker isn't kid friendly? My four year old son asked for "a clown" at a recent face painting opportunity and got this! ;)

Awesome work Finnbricker. I'm currently trying my own moc with two 31026 sets, but I'm designing it for my kids to be a police station, whilst cannibalising my old station sets. I do love the window designs in 31026 and plan to use a few of them. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement!!

I'd love to see some pics finnbricker! Here in Oz the set is on special for $68 AUD, so I was thinking of grabbing two to see what I could come up with. Would love the inspiration!

I think they mean the zombies from the Pirates of the Carribean 4 sets, like Queen Anne's Revenge and the Captain's Cabin?- 43 replies

I just saw a couple of LR mines in Myer Doncaster. And last time I checked there were LR Colby city in Big W Pakenham. Bit random though... -
That's what I'm talking about! I'd read all that before in fragments, but nice to have it together summarised. Great work Floundie.

It's really unhelpful when posters decide to write up "confirmed" lists that, from what I understand, are not. And then to have others try and edit that supposedly confirmed list while adding in wishes and speculation... yeah, I'm glad I'm not someone who pays little attention, otherwise I'd be damn confused. It would've nice to get a strict summary of "what we learned" in the Toyfair aftermath. Just not sure some posters wouldn't hijack it :(

I seriously think I my life is complete now that I have been the source of another Deathleech Middle Earth battlepack rant :D I LOVE your passion Deathleech. I knew you would bite and you didn't let me down. I so wish Lego would release a Middle Earth battlepack for you, I don't understand the mystery of their absence either. Some days when I read your posts I truly believe that I would cry tears of joy on your behalf if Lego released such a thing. Let's just hope your split wave theory comes true in 2015. It would be enough ;)

I do think this painting of the Mirkwood Elves or even Laketown as "good" versus the orcs as the only bad in the story ignores the reality of the pre-BO5A circumstances where the dwarves were talking on all comers. I don't think you can be so binary, not if you take the story seriously, and especially if you are delving into he realm of childhood imagination. Only under severe duress did the dwarves, humans and elves work together. And it is surely reasonable for Lego to prioritise named characters of any faction over grunts from a sales point of view. Only Lego's fantastically extensive work in providing nearly every named Hobbit character allows us to now complain about a lack of grunts. I am sure if they had prioritised grunts over named characters the howls would be far louder ;)

What would make the monetary plunge required on the Sandcrawler easy for me is if there was a Bantha and tuskens included :) But nrg's mentioning of it being a play set already has me excited regardless. It seems it will be more than just the vehicle - the question is: what more is included?
-
Right now, the thing that gives me hope is that the Rebels show could easily include a plot line involving Ponda Baba, thus giving us another chance to get him. Problem solved ;)

As soon as I heard from Pablo94 that only six figs were listed in the catalog, three Bith is what I concluded. Nevertheless I remained in denial due to the fact that it seemed such an odd decision to not make at least Ponda. But alas, my rational brain was right. I join the chorus singing songs of lament for our Walrusman :(

LOL - well, I think you're funny Elijah ;)

I find this response interesting because I had the opposite response :/ I think I follow your logic Darth Punk: you assumed the +2 meant there would only be two "new" figs. Instead now you think there may be three? Whereas I believed there were three, but now seeing only six figs listed I conclude that the squid ward must represent three of the same, otherwise they would list the three separately. Do you really think that they would just not list some characters Darth Punk?? I'm inclined to want to believe you as, although I'm excited for a Bith, any argument for less than three of them will be latched upon at this point :) Thanks Darth Punk!!

Pablo94, are the 6 characters not named in the catalog? Is not the one squidward listed amongst the 6 not given a clarified Star Wars identity?? :) It does seem my 6 +2 mystery theory was correct though. Who could the squidward be who is among the six if he is distinguished from the other 2? I thus think we will be getting three new characters. The listed squidward + 2 others, all who have been given squidward heads in the image. I concede the mystery figs could be two more Biths to make three, but it seems a bit odd to make the point of separating Bith from Bith in the listing. It could be that the listed squidward is Ponda and the +2 mystery figs are both Bith? That would satisfy the majority of believers on here :) but I still can't see a band mentioned anywhere in the descriptors. If there are three distinct figs then I hope the three will be Ponda, Momaw and a Bith (although getting three new alien molds in one set seems incredibly dreamy) I still sadly think we will end up with Ponda, Evazen and Wuher :( I hope I am wrong, and I'm sure you'll all tell me I am ;) [reads the four posts since Pablo94 post clarifying the lack of +2 mystery figs in picture - d'oh!] Okay, was a bit slow on those last few responses, sorry Pablo94. If the +2 mystery figs we've seen does not correspond to the Cantina set immediately above it, then which set do they correspond to then? Perhaps a Rebels one??

Can I just thank you, dragonau, for all your hard work and contributions to this thread?! I know your efforts have saved me money, and many others, so keep up the great work for as long as you can :) I know it is probably a thankless task, but I am sure I speak for a fair few! Thanks again!!! -

There are LOTS of HHs at $189 at Fountaingate Kmart ;) go get 'em!! -
To be honest, although I am leery of suggesting another character given the frustration of some posters over the ambiguity and the subsequent debate, I'm most surprised that has not been more people suggesting Momaw Nadon as an option given the Ithorian mold's presence in the Yoda Chronicles set. Surely there are not many opportunities to use that mold and we are unlikely to get Momaw elsewhere? Of course the other front runner characters are more prominent in the scene, but from a mold usage point of view, Momaw would make a lot of sense.

Well... the catalog says 2 new mystery figs, and we can't see the rest where other new figs may be mentioned that are not a mystery. I think Spyderlord is right with his logic: Greedo must be new. There is no chance they re-release that figure completely unchanged after all this time. Therefore, per the current mood, the other three figs must all be identical and thus Bith IF there are only two new figs. What I question is whether there are only two new figs, or whether there are more mentioned unseen. Perhaps all we see is that there are two MORE new figs in addition to the unseen new figs pictured out of shot. I have a hard time believing: A) that Lego would only include two new figs in a Cantina with 8 figs when there are obvious options like Ponda/Evezan/Wuhur B) that they would make three Bith for a set out of eight figs and then not mention them anywhere in the descriptions. Because Spyderlord is right: if there are only two new figs we have to be getting three Bith. If there are more than two new figs though, then really, anything is possible.
-
I still think the +2 mystery minifig mention is only in reference to what is shown on the actual page and has nothing to do with the placeholders. For all we know there are 6 figs mentioned to the left that we can't see INCLUDING Greedo and one of Wuhur/Evazen/Ponda, and thus the extra two referred to could easily be the other two of that trio. In fact, if they are playing up the mystery fig angle, what better way to do it than by using the same odd Squidward everywhere to give us no idea! It just makes little sense to me to make mention of Obi-Wan's need for weapons and make no mention of a band in the descriptions if they are going the Bith route. Again, not that I would complain about getting a Bith over Wuhur :p in fact I hope we get Bith/Ponda/Evazen. Just don't think it will happen.
-
I am even more convinced now that Wuhur, Evezan and Ponda are the three Squids :/ You too Spyderlord? Maybe they can do a Bith battle pack addition for Winter 2015??? It'd make as much sense if not more than the Guard/Gunners effort this year :p
-
I am with you Spyderlord. I was going to write this yesterday, but refrained due to it being a very unpopular suggestion I believe, but I am not convinced yet that we will see a Bith at all, let alone 2 or more. There has been no mention of a band in any of the descriptions we've found - isn't that a bit odd? I think Ponda, Evezan and Wuhur would be far more likely given that we now know there is a bar and a reason for weapons hinted at. I think Lego is setting us up not for band members, but dismemberment. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a Bith and would be very happy to be found wrong, but as yet there is no evidence of Bith apart from desire projected on multiple squidwards which could simply be stand ins for different molds, given there will apparently be two. Thoughts?
