    SAMMANHANG is indeed at least part of a new series for displaying stuff, because look at what i found today: https://www.ikea.com/de/de/catalog/products/20412444/ 70x70x37cm, the inside should be about 18cm high and you can open it from 2 sides. Not spacious enough for the UCS Falcon, but i don't own an UCS Falcon, i need a new couch table and it's only €69,99. And then there are these cool cubes for smaller models. https://www.ikea.com/de/de/catalog/products/10413849/ Won't buy the cubes, rather use LACK shelves, but the table is on my list.

    I'm currently preparing my new flat. Next week i'll raid IKEA and post the results. I always wondered why there is no section/sub-forum for this. In forums about aquariums this is quite normal and it is a tremendous source for inspirations.

    9492 - TIE Fighter 9515 - The Malevolence Wanted the TIE, bought both as pack on ebay für €51 in good condition. Only 3 small parts like binoculars missing. Just received the paket and i think i know what i'm doing tonight :)

    Since MF minifigs aren't simplified, it'd be at least illogical to do so for larger junior sets, if not outright stupid.

    2x LACK 190x26 cm and 2x LACK 30x26 cm = €52. Arrange them as rectangle and you got yourself a nice wall-cabinet with 180x26x30cm on the inside. Actually i'm thinking about using 4x 190cm and 2x 110cm (cut to 90cm) for a wall to wall cabinet in my new living room. Inside goes LEGO, books go on top. Since i got massive walls, using good screws and dowels the weight shouldn't be a problem.

    There's something new called SAMMANHANG. Only 21cm deep, but thinner frame and a mirror in the back. I'm pretty sure you already heard about the LEGO/IKEA partnership. IKEA plans to sell cabinets for LEGO models. I hope SAMMAHANG isn't what they had in mind. Probably you should wait some months. I thought about EXPEDIA/KALLAX without separators and custom glass doors for my setup...

    Technology evolves. New materials, new mechanical properties. We just saw trans clear and trans red technic liftarms in the Chiron. One day they'll find the correct mixture to produce all parts in trans clear.

    Wow, that's only 300 more than the regular X-Wings, makes it even more impressive. This could be a quite affordable model. We really need the "like-function" of this forum to be activated.

    Best X-Wing ever, i wish UCS were that good. And what a beautiful nose it has. What's the size and piece count?

    Great MOC, especially the E-Wing mode, genius. The edgy black wings and the flat engines (love 'em) give it an almost "stealthy" look. The engines are perfect for some LEDs. The absence of greebling on the fuselage adds to stealthy look. Cool cockpit and droid port, good idea with the hinges. And then we come to the front of the ship, which looks like...which looks like...erm...well, like a stick, or an oldfashioned wooden broomhandle. Makes it look unbalanced in my eyes. The execution itself is really great. Is there any mechanism to lock the wings in place? If yes, could you lock the wings in upwards position, as "inverted E-Wing"?

    This so effing cool. If someone told us 10-15 years ago, we would someday see glowing LEGO lightsabers, most of us would have said "liar, liar, pants on mustafar lava fire". Science is awesome!

    I already liked the first trailer, the second made me like it even more. Definitely looks better than Rebels. Stop the clip to have a better look at all those ships and speeder bikes and who is the red guy at 0:47? Someone at starwars-union.de suggested a "First Order Red Baron". Can't wait to see sets.
