I bought the weird looking one last week. It's a massively modified standard TIE. I like it on-screen, but the model...if it weren't a TIE, i wouldn't have bought it. It more looks like a modified TIE Striker to me.

Printed half cones...i can see ruinous prices on brick link in a few years. Maybe the aftermarket will take care like with the printed hallways of the UCS MF.

I don't care if UCS or not, we are getting a Tantive IV, that's all that matters. The only thing that cares is my wallet, because this probably means one more expensive set to buy.

Hm, actually a quite interesting question. At least on the german market the Falcon was one of the toys with the highest revenue in 2018. Not only looking at LEGO, but the entire market! Will they axe their cash cow for the rumoured ISD, hoping it will become the next bestseller, or will they give it a longer shelf life like the UCS Death Star? Or are its' numbers already dwindling?

I like it. I think the only way to a really new and/or better X-Wing at this size is new parts.
