  1. I'm member in a different forum using the same software, but with more features activated. You can 'like' a post with the other options 'thanks', 'sad', 'confused' and 'haha'. It's a quick and easy way to give feedback without writing a comment and i often refrain from writing, because i don't want to SPAM too much (and i feel guilty for commenting so much without doing an own MOC). Maybe other members think the same, thus the low feedback rate. You can give feedback on ancient posts without bumping 'em and the OP get's a notification. Win-win-win-situation. @obijon Love all your minis. Watched the movie yesterday (again) and i think this is spot on for its size. I wonder how it'd look with @darththeling's Supremacy. I see a hyperspace-jump-MOC, but lack the bricks and building talent.
  2. Then it's a no, both miss a few studs in size. For best accuracy according scale (1:45 isn't it?), buy jerac's instructions at brickvault.
  3. Much better. Let's the whole ship look like a double blade katar.
  4. No, but Sabine Wren indeed flew an A-Wing (Rebels S02E13) and it even is coloured correctly. Vader is using a TIE Advanced in the same show (not episode). The box design may show them in a dogfight, but then one could ask why the Box shows Kylo Ren in the upper right corner. I think it's a great set. The TIE/x1 is the best LEGO ever made (even better than the 2006 UCS regarding overall shaping and proportions) and the A-Wing (which itself is not a very common model) is nicely done (better than the newer 75175 including Lando???). The firing mechanism is cool, only the cannons which are very "tilty" are suboptimal. Aaand you get Vader with a 2pcs helmet and the other sets Tarkin appears in are two Death Stars and a Star Destroyer and this one is the only Rebels version. I bought it last week without any regrets so far. @Kelso if you still can get it for the original price or less, buy it.
  5. I see. Then please insert DISNEY where text = LEGO.
  6. Fans: We want an update to the TIE Interceptor! LEGO: Here, have a bright red First Order TIE Interceptor! Is LEGO trolling us? (rhetorical question) Black Ace looks interesting. Only 100 pcs less than Vonreg's TIE, but a whopping $20 less. I hope the Slave 1 will be horrible, so i don't have to buy it. I know myself, i will end up buying all 3 sets...
  7. 7661-1 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster used on ebay.
  8. Since i saw it first, i wondered how it would look like "jeraced". I love the snots on both sides of the panels, didn't know there's a technique for this. Superb build! Now i wonder how standard TIEs would look like using this. As much as i love @Jerac's designs, sometimes they are almost too smooth.
  9. That's not a fan-site. You just posted a link to some copyright infringers. Never heard of LEPIN?
  10. Hilarious What about a christmas tree as stand?
  11. SD is what i hope. It is THE ship and a new set is long overdue. What's better for an anniversary than something iconic? Not counting the FO SD, we only had a midi SD and the UCS SSD this decade. RO, SOLO and the upcoming series are justification enough for a new SD, i don't care if UCS or ~1500pcs.
  12. 75150 Vader's TIE Advanced vs. A-Wing Starfighter for €85,- at local dealer.
  13. 800-850? I think we all want to hear that story.
  14. Well, for some of those sets "UCS scale" would be quite an overkill. Even the comparatively small CR-90 would turn out pretty big, if built in scale to the UCS MF. Madness! But i'd love to see someone build it.
  15. They're custom made. 1:1 copies milled out of aluminium. On the one hand, LEGO never made these bricks from aluminium. On the other hand, since these bricks are copies, they don't allow illegal building techniques, they're a little heavier, but bend much less. Huge models often need steel frames, because bricks alone wouldn't bear the weight. The Nebulon-B isn't quite the largest model, but it's design makes it very fragile. Why not use aluminium (only 1:1 copies, no illegal parts like screws) beams/liftarms for the backbone of such a MOC? Forget about part prices, it's more of an ethical question.
  16. I know, you did a perfect job. Maybe it's because it reminds me so much of Kylo Ren's Tie.
  17. Question: Technic liftarms (and some other parts) made from aluminum are available on bricklink. Would these pieces be helpful (if available in correct size) and if yes, what do you think about using them, especially in a model like the Nebulon?
  18. Cool ship, but the longer, pointy part of the wings going backwards gives me a super-awkward feeling. All Ties with asymetrical wing design i can remember have a forward-design. Looking at it my brain constantly cries "WRONG!".
  19. HOLY SITH! But it's worth every single credit. We know chrome minifigs and there are some MOCs with some chrome pieces. The only other chrome models i could find, are a McDonnell Douglas DC-3 with chrome fuselage and chrome engines and a Morgan Threewheeler. This is a new level of MOC.
  20. Wow, it's beautiful. Not only the chrome, the shaping, too. Chapeau!
  21. LEGO says ALL brand stores and online shops.
  22. Anakin's Jedi Starfighter 75214 for €25.50 at my local dealer.
  23. Yes, please place the modules upright on some bricks for some photos, so we have a better all around view. That'd be cool! Maybe you can modify the pod, so he can lie in there face forward like on a racing bike.
