  1. Reading the amazing reviews here I most certainly want to aspire to one day be the same. Could I also please join?
  2. Wow a clever build full of interesting techniques! Fantastic job.
  3. How do people go rendering on mac? I just tend to use Stud.io but I do have the bluerender file if I do anything on LDD. Is this a good strategy?
  4. Does this mean the Bricklink will supply the bricks and ship directly from their headquarters or is that LEGO's role? Just trying to figure out shipping wise the estimated expenses.
  5. Any word on 2019 HP releases. Diagon Alley could be released before then.
  6. If it's going to be Bricksburg d2c, there sure will be a healthy stock of tan and dark tan pieces!
  7. I've tried that with a similar set, purchasing it from Germany but it wouldn't let me change the country destination to Australia. Unless you have some connections in that country i.e. relatives and the shipping isn't costly then you could bypass that restriction.
  8. Apparently LEGO is making this set available in November for all stores. We'll have to wait to see if this is true. You could buy it as S@H plus a $10 item to claim free shipping and VIP points (if you're a VIP). Free shipping is now $149+.
  9. Something along the lines of that is possible. But the Taj Mahal was as Jamie said was an additional production filler so I assume they won't rerelease but have been planning something for quite some time. I taking a (wild) guess and predicting the Colosseum. Although it may look repetitive and difficult to mast the round features, it sure would be an impressive display set. If not a Creator Expert set, then soon it must be an Architecture set. It's very iconic and easily identifiable. Maybe not this time, but the next one after the predicted 2019 release could be something from Asia such as an elegant temple. Imagine all the lovely printed tiles decorating the sides! This would seem appropriate as LEGO just reported strong growth in China and are planning to add two new flagship stores next year.
  10. I love this set. I will seriously be considering this as my first Creator Expert Seasonal themed set.
  11. Your diorama is looking really detailed and pretty! You've clearly put a lot of effort into this (especially the 1x2 trans tiles for water)
  12. All in good time sir, all in good time.
  13. The boat really stands out there. Such as well crafted design. And the shack looks neat as well. It reminds me of the designer's other model of a repair boat shop.
  14. Has anyone got information about how the Bricks and Pieces system works regarding prices? Do they lower/increase parts over time? How long does it take for an 'out of stock' piece to be replenished? How long is it before new pieces become available via BaP? Apologies for all the questions in advance. You don't have to answer them all in one post, I am just very curious.
  15. Hi everyone, just wondering if the Brick, Modified 1 x 2 x 2/3 with Studs on Sides (4595) front lens piece is able to connect to studs? Thanks
  16. I'm no expert, but I would recommend you look at some of the current and past Arctic themed City sets. If you're looking to build this as a technic set, some useful parts I could imagine lie in the Porsche 911. You may have to use hinges on the back slope, especially if you want to include the door with a window.
  17. This partnership should turn out to be very popular amongst many of us. Now I am just curious about when we will see these products and their variety.
  18. I have to agree there. LEGO are really relying on the success of the first film and I assume the expectations for the sequel will be high.
  19. I had no idea a carrot figure was ever made! Maybe that's where they got further inspiration to do the corn cob guy as well.
  20. Nice to see you keep some bricks dirty to make it more in the fashion of an outdoor market.
  21. Excellent pictures! They really add a buying factor to the review.
  22. Wow wow wow! This looks absolutely amazing. I did not expect to see this when I clicked on the link but I sure am glad I did. You've even covered details inside as well as outside which makes it very appealing. I especially like your decorative style at the back of the building. Supurb!
  23. My favourite part are the cannons being fired, especially the transition in transparent pieces from red to clear. Clever to see you included some play features.
  24. Looks like you put a lot of effort and time into this build. It turned out really sweet! It'd be cool to see it in real life.
