Well its been a while and I finally got my hands on a new technic set... In America the 2021 technic sets was released on Jan 1 and every set I wanted was sold out or on back order.. I was lucky to get the Lego set 42122 from lego.shop website and I have modded my set and and I do plan a RC version and 4x4 drive. I have included Headlamp fix to a more realistic look Rear differential with drive line Red color springs for a softer suspension Fake V6 and I managed to keep the original chassis and suspension but that might change for the 4x4 and RC version (coming soon) Please add any comments for fixes or ideas you like to share. I love this set and it looks great without the stickers.. I'll also weigh out some of the new elements and see if sugar based elements are included.. thank you Its Wip status and more to come!!!

I've been using NiZn for over a year and the only gripe I have is that out of 24 batteries, 14 of the are still usable after 1 year time.. depending on the brand, (some are really bad) some batteries will stop holding a charge after 6 months time.. There are some tricks to revive them in the Youtube webpage.. My understanding with the Powered Up and Gen 1 IR receiver have a 10.1 volts limitation but with my experience with the higher voltage didn't affect performance or harmed my Lego electronics. Use them with caution.!!

Not even a back order option is driving me crazy!! I wonder how long this will last and when the 2021 models come out, I wouldn't be surprised they will get sold out in the first week!! Crazy!! -

42122 Jeep Wrangler

I like the tires and they do look like a beefier version of the 56mm tires .. they will look good on my Bronco I'm designing. The front headlamps looks to big for this scale. I use to own a Jeep but my brother wreck it !!! At lease I still got the Jeep machete that it came with!! My understanding is it the same yellow that was introduced from the powered up 4x4 -

Good build @mpj the low ride gives it better handling and better aerodynamics to cut through the air. Beautiful model overall!!

If Biden wins election, ... Otherwise if I make any post, a team of drones would follow me .. just kidding .. but a Technic robot type of many examples would be cool . It could walk or roll but a robot to do???? But of course all Technic ?? -
