  1. Ohh, why it is taking so long with those reveals? Still got few sets that I am waiting for, but Lego is exactly reading my mind and shows sets that I am not interested in from the themes that I am.
  2. I am kind of surprised with the Harry and Hagrid set, lovely minifigure selection, can't say same thing about the build, clearly this set is only about figures. Same applies to sorting hat ceremony, but worse minifigure selection with little bit better build. I can't tell my feeling about Lovegoods house, it is kind of weird, but I like it, lovely minifigures. Rest of the sets are totally pass for me. Waiting for hospital wing.
  3. Damn, any photos of the hospital wing?
  4. I think we are close to have the whole wave revealed. Next week at the latest.
  5. Maybe I am too naive, but I am still hoping for the proper Hungarian Horntail mold, coming with a big part of Hogwarts Castle.
  6. If winter sets are being released in January, we should be close to official reveal, or atleast some leaks. Last year they were quite early, isn't it?
  7. I had the same tactic, to wait for main tower release to see how it will look like together, and after release I couldn't stop myself from buying great hall which is cool set. But, after I saw the picture above, how those parts connect, I am little bit downcast with how it might look together.
  8. Now I am totally lost, the main tower connects to great hall with certain angle, and probably only connects in one place. That is a bit confusing to me.
  9. We should be getting some sets video review soon, maybe this week.
  10. I think I now understand, why in Great Hall set we got section of the castle that is on hinges and can be opened. The main tower will cover that section so we won't be able to see anything there, that's why we have that wall section openable so we could see the corridor with the portraits. My concern is only the fact that in main tower, balcony extends over the part that clips to great hall and no idea how it will connect. Last thing I am curious about is the purpose of the parts with hook (same as in the great hall) at the back side of the main tower, looks like something will be connected there, any ideas?
  11. I just built the great Hall, since I was delaying buying it till I see the other big part of the Hogwarts castle, and I have to admit it is huge comparing to the previous Great hall sets. I got rivendell which got massive footprint, but I think that Hogwarts will have it much larger. I am amazed with the quality of troll, I think it is the best bigfig that Lego has ever done
  12. Now I just realised that microscale D2C Hogwarts Castle is not a complete castle (putting aside the castle back walls). But going with the Lego pattern of releasing new iteration of a castle every 3 years, I think we will end up with castle layout same as D2C miscroscale one. If we are going end up with castle same or close to the set 75419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds, it would have take minimum 5 years of releasing castle segments, what I would love to happen, especially when having sets like Herbology classrom, that does not go inside any big sets and it is said that this is a part of the castle, and quidditch lesson that also should connect somewhere, but no idea where. Anyway, I am waiting for early reviews of the summer sets to see how everything looks connected together.
  13. I think that Main Tower has convinced me to start collecting the Hogwart's castle, it far better than the Great Hall, which is also very good set. I like the fact it has more rooms, the Gryffindor common room looks lovely and I think I will replace the challenges room for Charms and potions classrooms, since I preffer to have Hufflepuff and bathroom rooms. On the YT videos of Harry Potter sets, most of the youtubers claims, that herbology class will connect to the Hogwarts castle, do you think it is possible? I can't see any attachment points.
  14. Boat house is also not connected. This Hogwarts castle will be huge, the main tower stands 67 cm tall :o.
  15. Wow, great sets. I think best wave ever, I like and must have all of them. I think Lamborghini two pack is the best set ever, I think the huracan is almost perfect (apart of the fact that rear lights are stickers, unfortunately) and will be my favourite car ever. Bugatti looks solid and the shape is represented well, again rear lights as stickers. I do like the Dodge a lot, simple shape but everything on spot, I have f&f dodge, which I didn't liked before I built it, which turned out to be decent set, I believe this one will be much better. I am little bit upset with Porsche, it looked disgusting at the beginning to me and looking far from the real car, but the more I look on it from different angles, the more I like it. Don't want to be misunderstood or rude,, but am I the only one who thinks that this forum thread is dieing? This wave is amazing (my personal amazing) and beating down every other wave since cars were 8 stud wide, but there is no enthusiasm here, only few posts. Speed champions is one of the most affordable LEGO theme, it is enjoyable for kids as for the adults fans of motorsports and cars, providing very complex building technics like in UCS sets, for a price smaller than 30 USD. Are there not so many fans of speed champions in here? Wow, great sets. I think best wave ever, I like and must have all of them.
