  1. Zavvi is your friend if you’re in NA and you want them early. Many of us in NA including myself got the sets in June and with very cheap shipping.
  2. I just realized that Colin Creevy is the COS and I’m through the roof! He’s probably my favorite minor character so it’s great he gets an appearance in here.
  3. Did Lego just read my wishlist and decided to make all them? PS and COS are my two favorite films so seeing them get more love is great and I can’t say no to another Lockhart variant! I know I said I would never buy a re-release but the great hall doubling as Chamber of Secret is my only exception. I really can’t wait what other sets this wave brings, fingers crossed for a second task since it seems most of the films are being covered
  4. Here is the full blown translation for my English folks: The smallest set available in summer will be the girls' toilet from the second Harry Potter film. In terms of both price and composition, the set is reminiscent of the 75966 Room of Desires. The room has a size of 16 × 8 studs and can be connected to the other two new Hogwarts sets. It includes a toilet cubicle and three wash basins under a mirror front. In addition to Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, Hermione with a cat's head in LEGO form is also included for the first time. What is special here is that the figures have the faces of Crabbe and Goyle printed on the back of the heads. Hermione can also be transformed back into her original form. The three gather around the cauldron with polyjuice. You won't find the Moaning Myrtle here. Fortunately, it was already included in last year's 71028 Harry Potter Collectible Figure Series 2. In total, the 217 parts will cost 19.99 euros. There will be a gold Harry Potter in this set. For just 39.99 euros, but only consisting of 397 parts, we get an expansion set for the new Hogwarts Castle. The set is very reminiscent of the 4706 Forbidden Aisle, which appeared in 2001 as one of the first LEGO Harry Potter sets, with its tower and walled area. Just like 20 years ago, the set includes Harry, Hermione and Ron as minifigures. There is also a new edition of Hagrid's three-headed dog Fluffy for the first time. Its body is brick-built, the heads are made of new molds. The set also includes a harp and a golden Hermione. Most LEGO Harry Potter fans should be happy that there will finally be the first implementation of the wizarding village of Hogsmeade, which is located near Hogwarts. Of course, the whole village doesn't fit into the set. Similar to the set 75968 Privet Drive 4, there will be two house scenes, the back of which is open to play. These are the honey pot candy shop and the Drei Besen tavern, where the students like to stop for a butterbeer. Just like in the film, there is snow on the roofs. The figures include Harry Potter, Dean Thomas and Professor McGonagall, as well as the landlady of the three brooms Madame Rosmerta and the owners of the honey pot, Mr. and Mrs. Flume. The set will consist of 851 parts and cost 79.99 euros. There will be a golden ron in this set. The biggest surprise among the LEGO Harry Potter novelties for 2021 is this set, as the 75954 Great Hall of Hogwarts is already a Playscale version of the castle on the market. Production of the set was actually supposed to be stopped by the end of 2020, but the date was postponed due to the great demand. At the latest with the appearance of a new Hogwarts Castle, this should also be the case in summer 2021. The set contains the great hall and also the great stair tower. Unlike the previous model, the roofs are green instead of gray. The structures are also nowhere near as detailed. But this part of the castle also has a substructure, more precisely here is the Chamber of Secrets. Fittingly, the entrance door to the Chamber of Secrets is also included. Harry, Ginny, Dumbledore, the almost headless Nick, Colin Creevey, Lockhart in an orange robe, Tom Riddle, a teacher and a student are included as minifigures. There will also be a new, larger version of the basilisk. With this set, a gold Voldemort minifigure appears
  5. Personally as someone who owns both OG Ninjago City and Diagon Alley, I much prefer Diagon Alley myself. Ninjago City is an incredible set but DA is just on another level imo. Maybe it’s because I bought at the same price you did, but I didn’t enjoy Ninjago City as much as I did DA. Also they are both corner pieces and together they could look like a mess without Docks. But yeah I’d keep DA, buy Gardens and use the rest to save towards Gringott’s.
  6. https://www.stonewars.net/lego-news/interim-results-of-the-lego-ideas-90th-anniversary-survey/ Looks like oddly Bioncle is in the lead with Classic Space and Pirates behind. Still never got the appeal of Bioncle myself so I hope that doesn’t end up winning. As for Pirates, we already got Barracuda Bay so I’m satisfied and with a Castle set coming, I’m already not all too interested in that either. Classic Space is meh for me as well. Fingers crossed for Adventurers to pull through, would love to see some Egyptian sets.
  7. I’m happy more shops were included, in particular I really enjoy the grey/blue color combo of Scribbulus and the door frame of Daily Prophet while small was a really nice touch. The only one I’m not crazy about was Florean’s because the bright yellow not being present all the way through. And the Florean minifigs is pretty awesome and its good to have some exclusive minifigs. As for what comes next, I see the next addition having 5 stores from left to right with the furthest right connecting to Ollivander’s . Gringott’s as a stand-alone building in the vein of WWW, Borgin and Burkes and Wiseacre’s evenly sharing a baseplate since they are the duller buildings, and Madam Malkin’s being the QQS of this addition due to its purple hues taking up a majority of the baseplate with a small portion dedicated to the Leaky Cauldron. As for minifigs, I see a more DH centric lineup since PS Harry and Hagrid showed up in Diagon Alley. DH Harry, DH Ron, Hermione in Bellatrix disguise (doubles as a Bellatrix), Fenrir Greyback, 2x goblin, Mr Burke, Tom, Arthur Weasley, younger Weasley twins from either CoS or PoA, and a couple of mannequins for Madam Malkins. I do imagine that the Ironbelly and some add ons to Gringott’s would come in their own set, thus giving both the Ironbelly and Gringott’s a beefier build.
  8. Nice, I’ve never been a big fan of video reviews so this is good to see.
  9. This is absolutely incredible poll idea, personally I’m dying to see Adventurers, Studios, or Classic Castle. Especially Adventurers though, I need some more Egyptian sets in my life. Yeah if you couldn’t tell I’m a late nineties boy and I’m proud.
  10. I mean the thing I don’t get is most of us AFOLS here are just going to put it on a shelf and display for 99% of the time, there’s really no need to have all that accessibility. The aesthetic comes first since it’s a display piece and honestly on that front, the designers killed it because not only is it a worthy addition to the Ninjago modulates, it’s got its own identity as well. But if you want to complain, go right ahead, this is just my two cents.
  11. If we get the hourglass piece in green, then I’d be down for a Slug Club, maybe another way to get young Tom Riddle as well. Draco in his black suit as well hopefully with a better hairpiece. Cormac I guess is more prominent than the Patil twins so I guess we could get him him as well. The repeats would probably be the trio again. Honestly I really loved the Yule Ball AC so I’m really having a hard time imagining how they top that one even if it’s not a Slug Club AC. I would love to get some more Umbridge related stuff like some cat photos since we didn’t get her office, which was a massive shame.
  12. Thank the maker it’s an AT AT and now I’m incredibly excited I held off buying the system scale one! Definite day one purchase, always had a lot of nostalgia for AT AT’s especially the motorized one! Hopefully we’ll get more figs besides Veers and an AT AT pilot.
  13. Lol. Personally I’m all for Lego doing the darker scenes, especially if they are pivotal to the movies, like Rise of Voldemort is the climax of GOF. I still remember getting spooks from the original Cemetery Battle when I was kid back in 05, but hey I’m still alive and slightly functional... Anyways all I’m saying is if people are saying that the Inferi Cave isn’t going to be made because of some zombies, Lego have made a lot of worst.
  14. I mean they made the Rise of Voldemort set and that had Wormtail using Harry’s blood to resurrect a grim looking fetus. They even had a red piece to represent the blood and the knife. And it was the sight of the murder of Cedric Diggory and a KKK death eater if you want to be pedantry, so I don’t want to hear the excuses for an Inferi Cave which is nowhere near as bad. As for Godric’s Hollow, I just think it’s too obscure to be a set for it to be considered.
  15. Yeah I agree with this, I feel like people go overboard with their hatred of fake leaks, when to me its really nothing to get in arms up about, only if they keep insisting their list is right after they have been proven wrong.Especially when the HP theme has had three incredible waves, I expect nothing less with this upcoming wave, regardless of what sets are coming out! Do I hope certain sets happen? Of course I would love a Chamber of Secrets or Second Task, but I’ve bought every HP set since the reboot, even ones I really wasn’t interested in when I first heard the name and no picture. Whoever runs the HP theme just knows what’s up and my expectations are always blown out of the water. It isn’t like Star Wars where you get a cool sounding list and then it’s just disappointing.
  16. I knew 19 was the Toy Fair because of Random Blocker, but thanks for freshening up my memory for 2020. Really felt like twenty years since those leaks.
  17. The set names have always dropped in January the last three years, so I’m still holding out hope that names should be in the next couple of weeks, especially if SW names got leaked so early. Names never really depended on the Toy Fair because the Toy Fair last year didn’t show any Q2 sets if I recall correctly.
  18. I’m happy for all of you Clone Wars fans getting sets, but honestly I’m probably not gonna buy anything from this wave besides the Gunship. Maybe the Throne and Vault if Maul has some cool printing because I always wanted to get an Ahsoka. Overall not much for my own personal taste which is fine, I’ll just spend more on HP and Ninjago Gardens.
  19. The UCS R2D2 is definitely disappointing to say the least. Lars Homestead sounds great but it’s probably a micro scale vignette type deal so I won’t be able to add it to my Tatooine display. But if it’s not I’ll definitely pick it up, still haven’t got the AT-AT so I’ll buy it in May to justify the Homestead. I’m not happy that the Gunship will be $350 unless it has a decent range of figures, I’m tired of big vehicles with no cool minifigs. Looks like Nino says that the $160 set is the Moff Gideon’s Light Cruiser, nice seeing Mando getting some love and Dark Troopers in Lego is something I never thought I would see.
  20. I’m very weary of this list, seems like a wishlist from one of them Clone Wars die hards. No way you would have so many PT era sets. With that being said, I do really hope that the $350 is a MBS and not the Gunship.
  21. Yeah but it’s in a new color I think
  22. I don’t know if you guys saw the new Blacksmith figures, but one of the knights has the perfect hairpiece for a HBP/DH Draco Malfoy. Would love to see it in the upcoming HP wave.
  23. I say this as a very casual Ninjago fan who only owns Ninjago City, Ninjago Gardens is incredible! I think Docks really played it too safe and that’s why I didn’t buy it where Gardens definitely has its own identity. Always a big sucker for Lego tree builds so it’s nice seeing them dominate this addition. Really can’t wait to see the back of this beast. Personally I’m fine with the minifig selection since I don’t have a bunch of these mini figs but I do get the disappointment from the hardcore Ninjago fans. Definitely going to pick this up for my birthday!
  24. I think from the few pixels I can make out, it’s definitely decent. My only gripe is the teal it reminds me too much of the Lego Movie 2 sets with that futuristic retro wave type vibe. But I think it should overall be a promising edition and you can never go wrong with 20 mini figs.
  25. Yeah Durmstrang Ship really isn’t a necessity imo but they did do Beauxbatons Carriage and that was a really nice set. Nobody ever talks about the maze and nothing really goes on in it, and the Rise of Voldemort covered the climax of the GoF extremely well for $20. All I want from that movie is the Second Task and it wouldn’t even have to be a big set. It could easily be in the $60 range with a pier build and the seaweed stalks. Toss in Shark Krum, Gilly Harry, Gabriella, Ron, Hermione, and a couple mermaids and you’re all set. The second task, Gringott’s, Chamber of Secrets, and a PS Hogwarts extension that covers the climax of that film is all I really want from Lego HP at this point. Oh and some more Lockhart variants won’t hurt either ?
