    @deraven @AFOLguy1970 Thanks for your opinions! Me too but it seems impossible as it looks like we entered a new era with the DD... Yes, finally someone who thinks in a very very similar way with me! I personally always liked the Dutch architecture but the windows and some other things you mentioned really sound not right in the MS.

    Exactly! Even it is included in the 10th anniversary video and in the mini-modulars (if it’s a reason) so can’t see any reason why it’s not considered... Waiting for other people’s opinions.

    Hey guys, After seeing the poor MS is even not considered like an official modular, I started to make some research about it, what is it’s minus? Perhaps the interior or it’s designed by an AFOL? What’s the problem about it? The only thing I don’t like is it’s windows 1x2x3 pane. Otherwise, I like it a lot and it is a different architecture. Even Jamie says in the 10th anniversary video that it was a very important modular and was encouraged to continue the line.

    I really recommend you to buy the DD, it’s a great set with a lot of unique building techniques. It will for sure not work with the previous modulars but you can start a completely new street (that’s what I’m going to do), we’re lucky that it has a very interesting look on the left side and not a plain bad wall. If they continue with this new concept, you can put the new modular buildings to right side of it... I don’t own the DO so maybe my response will not be very useful but anyway, I’ll give you my opinion, watched a lot of reviews. Personally, I don’t like a lot the exterior (the architecture) of the DO but the interior is really nice, and there are a lot of things to play, it seems, and it’s story is very fun. For the BB, I really like the façade and the interior of the first floor with the unique tiling but the second floor is a little bit dissapointing. Unlike a lot of people, I really like the laundromat stuck and it’s story is very fun too. The DD is different, I like it a lot both from exterior and interior. There are so many things I like, for example the glasses which let you see all the interior of the diner and the “capturing the shape of jukebox” section and the unique spiral stairs in backside from exterior, and the sugar machine, punching bag and water dispenser from interior. But I don’t think there’s a story... Hope that helps!

    Great details everywhere and a very nice building with an interesting backside! Love the use of the scooter inside, the roof of the older building and the wall cracks! Will definitely purchase your instructions! Thanks for sharing this great MOC!

    First af all, I’m very sorry and angry your MOCs are on sale by some people, I already saw them on sale when I was searching for instructions on Ebay, even some other paid ones are on sale I downloaded the instructions of your free MOCs, many thanks for sharing them! But your modulars which I really like unfortunately doesn’t have instructions, if you have, I would be happy to buy and build them, I’m not saying that to please you, I mean it! I follow only the people who have very nice MOCs and who give me a lot of inspiration And after all, that’s only my taste, there are a lot of people who really like your two MOCs with free instructions I really love your Modular Palm House, especially the blue flowers and the mosaic wall I like very much the roof of your garage and the fallout gas station bar is very realistic, I like also some of your vignettes...

    Very nice modification, now it is more realistic... I can understand who made that modification without looking at your profile, your MOC/MOD style is unique and you take very professional photos, I like it a lot I love the use of space, all things you can put in a small space! My only suggestion is to make a restroom in the restaurant (which is impossible but I don’t believe the customer minifigs will be able to enter to someone’s apartment to go to toilets ) I would personally make a two story restaurant, maybe the second floor can include toilets and the little apartment could be only in the third floor, a small sofa convertible bed as in the AS and a small kitchen, with a very small toilet if I can squeeze it in but that’s your design which I really appreciate!     @ncx @Brickolta I’m sorry about my comment on the designer. I really didn’t want to mean to be harsh or rude - next time I will choose better words while writing comments like that. I really like DD and I’m glad that I bought one yesterday BTW, I have something really unexpected on my box: the word “expert” is missing, noticed it this morning! Does anyone else have a box like that?

    Wow, exactly the same thing happened to me! I normally was planning to buy the DO as a Christmas gift for myself But I could not have time to go and get one until the new year. Yesterday the Lego Store here at Paris was unfortunately closed So I went back today but on the shelves, there were only DD (and the Old Fishing Store which is similar but not a modular). I ended up buying the DD!

    I’m pretty disappointed with the designer video for which I was waiting for a month... As many of you have already said, they are not presenting the DD. This is indeed presenting the “designers” and not the “design” I still hope that they release a “real” designer video. Again, many people have already mentioned that the CC had a giant hotel sign. What a shame he doesn’t remember it, perhaps he was speaking about an hotel with an interior or a full hotel... But in that case he should have made it clear. Anyway that’s not so bad, maybe they will make an hotel next year. So we already have an idea of the next years modular! That would be nice to have an hotel with interior, at least for me As @RogerSmith (thanks!) reminded me (in the Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion topic), Mike says in an interview by Zusammengebaut “I know how much the people love the Modular Buildings but I don’t know why” and a little bit later he says “it’s hard to say I can’t figure out exactly what it is that people love about the Modular Buildings and maybe it was the classic smiley-faces which I just took out... forever” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RV50AQA8PcA It’s just so sad to hear that. I don’t understand how they gave permission to a designer with this mindset to design a modular... Anyway, DD is a very nice piece and this is not to criticize this modular which I love .     That’s so funny, as you can see, that was me who posted those two videos I have already watched these two videos, I think DD is a nice modular but that’s a shame to know that it’s designed by someone who knows much less about the modulars than an AFOL!

    Thanks! But 5 hours/(or 2.5 if you watch 2 times faster) is a lot of time for me I just prefer waiting for 2-3 days and watching speed builds and reviews.
