    Happy New Year everybody!!! Are you guys buying the new Modular now with the 40580 Blacktron Cruiser GWP, waiting for Jan 15th for the 40583 Houses of the World GWP, waiting till February/March for the rumored (but unconfirmed) Pizza Van, waiting for Double VIP or waiting for a discount outside of lego.com? So many (too many) options and I’m overwhelmed by this choice

    Sure. Any of these might be possible, but as the secondary business on the top floor. Like the dentist in AS and vet in CG A Pharmacy might be a good idea for a ground floor business

    In one of the recent interviews with the designer, he said that although they keep a list of fan wishes in mind (like the police station), they like to surprise us and don’t want to be too predictable. Jamie in a different interview said that this is a downtown street so commercial will be a priority and sth like a hospital would be less likely The Fassade should also give clue to what’s inside and not a generic building with any storefront

    I love the big red building, but the smaller pizzeria feels like a different scale. Like the 3in1 creator buildings.

    I mean it still could be 10:21pm aka 21:21 Billund time or 10:21 pm NY time (4:21 CET) -but it seems unlikely that they would reveal it at such late hour. It would've beed an amazing Easter egg, but the marketing team botched the opportunity this time.

    I hope down the line they will release an updated Tower of Orthanc with the correct height in proportion of width. Its an amazing and unique built and would really appreaciate from an update. And seeing the prices on eBay you know the demand is there.

    Man, having the iconic Balrog fight scene would be amazing. The Mines of Moria could’ve been a great D2C

    I'm absolutely Ecstatic! Even in 2019 I said wanted this to happen. Arguably it was an obvious guess as Lego loves to repeat stuff. I didn't get a chance to get the original one, so I'll grab this one. But the price is the one that will be VERY difficult to swallow.

    It’s interesting that Lego seems to have really started to listen to their fans. Hotel and Police station where literally the most popular requests for years!

    As it should be! Surprised that it’s ranking so long. Ever since the first wheelchair from the Fun in the Park in 2016, the Modulars should’ve had at least step free access to the ground floor! A small ramp or just street level entry shouldn’t be that difficult to implement

    Wow, looks pretty good. Wondering how it would look besides other Modulars. Would you mind sharing your model?

    In 5 years the prices will go up so much that 300$ won’t even get you a regular modular But yeah, I agree, I hope they’ll make something big for the next anniversary. Like a outdoor mall or a train/ tram/ bus station

    But still they might work together. That’s the only Modular I can think of where the Hotel could work somewhat well

    The building seems too short. Almost like it was squished. The roof is shorter than the Pet Shop. But its not that bad. I would like a picture next to Parisian restaurant to see if the terraces match.

    The Secession style Architecture realny works with this set. If feels like a blend of French, German and Russian Architecture of the 19th century

    They should make the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum! Honestly I would be happy with any somewhat modern building

    Assembly Square is set to retire next year, end of 2022, so I don’t think they want 2 anniversary sets at the same time

    I really think a convince store is needed. And for this "corner modular year" the puns just write themselves Corner shop in a corner modular - almost too much sense
