Well, thank you, I'm honored Just take all the time to complete personal requests first; I'm curious to see how they'll look, but you don't have to see this as a priority LuxorV

Thanks M'Kyuun, I shot you a PM about the file. On the building style/techniques, I feel the same way about the trial-and-error, and that's why I often use LDD for a preview of most of my MOCs (at least the smaller ones; dioramas would make me crazy ). The other thing I find difficult is to ballance the possibilities of LDD with my bricks aviability: you can't always make a good (in this case matching your idea) model with the Designed By Me palette, and so at times you can't order it! I'll be waiting to see your next versions (police sounds cool) and MOCs LuxorV

Indeed, and you may want to give a bit more contrast to the belt in the Standard and Experienced Crew ones Good work overall, and nice to see you continuing to follow and update this project. LuxorV

In this Tutorials' Index you'll find useful guides on how to resize your pictures with MS Paint and/or using a simple online program. It's just like riding an ostrich: once you learn it, you'll never forget it! Hope these will be helpful to you. LuxorV

Price discrimination between Official and Licensed sets.
LuxorV replied to ziljin's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm fairily sure this issue has already been discussed in other topics. Nonetheless, I'll add a personal opinion on this. If you browse the S@H site, you'll easily recognise that most of the small to medium Licensed sets have inflated prices (from 5 to 20 $ or € more than the normal sets); on the other hand, especially for PoP and Indy, bigger sets have more reasonable prices. I think this is a simple marketing strategy: TLG will sell lots of smaller sets but less bigger ones. So they make you pay more for the best sellers and try to keep fairily low the huge ones in the hope of selling a good amount of them too. LuxorV -
Really nice smilies, Joey Lock I like the way you include both personalised ones along with original LEGO ones. Speaking of the latter, I especially like how you rendered the Dastan and Tamina's hairpieces. Do you plan on making other PoP characters, too? LuxorV

Thanks for sharing this review, paul_delahaye. I was not aware of the existence of this set 'till I saw your topic Could you please just resize all pics to a maximum dimnsion of 800 pixels? It is quite painful to have to load 1400+ to 3000 pixel large pics Thank you! LuxorV

Well, if the pic's art is faithful to the set, the new 'three wheels big bicycle' will be red, too Nonetheless, the idea of having a good LEGO trike rickshaws is quite exciting! LuxorV

Pleased to see you back again, Stauder! It's been very long indeed since the last EB News instalment! Of course this means also that there are lots of new personalites to interview, so you will certainly find loads of work for the new season. Perhaps you can anticipate any date for the first episode? Indeed, the chains are very evocative of a travel towards new horizons of freedom in the vastity of space and beyond the sands of time, and new planets to colonise! Very well done, SimonStorm! LuxorV

Particoularly cool creation, M'Kyuun! Looks almost like Spartans turned into Postal service and converted their Warthogs On a specifical note, I really like the 'letter box' on the back and the way it can be pop-ed on and off the vehicle Possibly you can share the LDD model file? I'd love to see the buggy construction technique LuxorV

TUTORIAL How to resize pictures using MS Paint
LuxorV replied to Lord Of Pies's topic in Forum Information and Help
Sorry but I don't get your problem: do you follow all the steps and in the end get a cropped out section of the original photo? Is that what you mean? I tried the method with both the plain white Paint background (no image loaded) and a big .jpg photo, and it works just fine for me. If you still can't make it work, and need the resized images soon, you can try the other (online) pics resizing tutorial from our indexes. LuxorV -
Ok, I corrected the name, and merged the topic with the origin discussion on the Indexes. Please all post future comments on the Indexes in this topic only. Thank you. LuxorV

Since as noticed, this topic does not merely involve LEGO minifigs' news, nor customs, and it is not theme specific, I'll move it inot community near the similar topics about sigfigs. LuxorV

Nice overall design. It reminds me of the Arm Slaves from Full Metal Panic. LuxorV

Sounds interesting, and it's about time: they started talking about controlled nuclear fusion some 30-40 years ago! Anyway, if we don't go boom (remember Human Torch's top heat in Fantastic Four involving Earth's atmosphere in a catastrophic burn-out? ), there should not be big problems: too low mass for a nova (not to say a supernova or a black hole or any such stellar sized fenomena), not much dangerous radiation apart for UVs (especially since it's automatically filtered by the dense atmoshere). As far as I know, the main problem with this technology has always been related to the containment fields' stability (gravitational, magnetic and inertial). LuxorV

MiniFigure Head decals (130 facial expressions)
LuxorV replied to Capt. Kirk's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
And I see this as a really bad first post. We do not like to be rude towards anyone and especially new members, but there are a number of things you should really remember: - first of all, please don't revive a more than one month old topic, made by a member who is clearly not very active anymore (he did not resposn to posts over the last 6+ months) only to make a poor comment like this; - then mind your spelling, use capitals when needed and remember this is not a chat, so starting a post with 'hey' is normally seen as annoying; - lastly, using a personal font or style can be interesting, but making an all bold post appears quite rude; just like writing in all capitals, it is almost like shouting. Thanks for your understanding and welcome to Eurobricks. If you have further decal requests, please post them in this thread. LuxorV -
Silly me You're right! Well, untill shadow guard can sort this out, please avoid further posting in this topic, please. Especially if it's just silly (yet quite funny) comments on invisibility. Thank you all LuxorV
