  1. Unfortunately, they say no: Probably, this is related to the fact that the USA bags, like the normal sets' boxes, will be different from the European ones. LuxorV
  2. I would not call 2 titles a spree... On the other hand, your post scriptum was too good to let it pass! LuxorV
  3. If I were you, I'd guess I have to re-guess LuxorV
  4. Thanks for this impressive review, WhiteFang! You really completed the series and gave us a lot of new data (and data elaborations) to consider. And, as said, to see them all lined up is very exciting. They sure make for an impressive company! LuxorV
  5. Nice walker, Zepher. You added a lot of detailing into it! P.S.: I'd say this goes in Sci-Fi, so I'm moving the topic LuxorV
  6. Thanks for sharing this review, Holodoc! This is one of my favourites form this series. The up-dated torso, the hair piece (more in line with the recent ones, like Dastan and Tamina's), the syringes (2 of them!) and the patient's chart all make for a simple yet very nice quasi-impulse. LuxorV
  7. Thanks for sharing these concept arts, Catanas. We'll be waiting to see the actual minifigs LuxorV
  8. Indeed this is a very interesting example of before-and-after. Thanks for sharing, The Knight! LuxorV
  9. Nice up-date, The Penguin. And a good example of how the PoP parts can be very useful in other themes Let's hope to see Danstan and Tamina's hairs in other colours soon! LuxorV
  10. Personally, I use an old Photoshop 7.0, so I'm not much updated on the new tools and options, but Photoshop is one of the best photo editing programs I used. Consider that I use this also for my work on fossils to edit images and compose professional plates for publication. So I'd say it's very good and fairily simple to use. Of course, you'll need to play a bit with the features and maybe check some tutorials to get acquanited with it. Probably, other, more up-to-date users can give you more detailed opinions LuxorV
  11. Now just don't make me regret this by suddenly disappearing again LuxorV
  12. Powerful bad guys! Overpowered good guys! Perfect creation I really love the overall action feel and the innovative designs for the jetpack, extendable arm and the base, which strongly reminds me of a sort of Maya/Inca temple thing (at least in the first shots). LuxorV
  13. Please do not repeat lines in your posts, unless it's really necessary. Thank you Oh, and I get it you're speaking about the soccer uniforms, right? LuxorV
  14. May I ask where is your comment in that long quote post, Severus? LuxorV
  15. Very nice build, Redcross! So rich of details and conveying the feel of the time. My favoutite touches are the carvings on the front (especially creative and simple the one between the windows) and the photo development (is this the right espression?) studio. LuxorV
  16. Well deserved promotion guys, congratulations LuxorV
  17. Probably this will help: rumors, and facts, say that each figure has a unique barcode on the back of the polybag, along with the "set's" code. I suppose the sellers rely on them. Of course, guessing from the feel through the bag could be risky, but probably doable, too. Perhaps some expert (i.e., already owning these figs) members will be able to provide better evidence. LuxorV
  18. Happy Birthday Yoda! LuxorV
  19. If you have to make further adjustments like this, please use the Edit option and add them to the last post, with a big bold EDIT to make them visible. As Siegfried already noted in this same thread, continuosly bumping your topics won't get you much kind attention. P.S.: Adding a link to your BL shop into your signature could also be useful LuxorV
  20. Peppermint_M summarised the matter very well already. This question has already been discussed vastly, and we got an official statement on minifigs' quality through the Ambassadors when the new Minifigures Collection #1 reviews started to appear: TLG has made sure the wuality control is up to the classic Danish standars in the Chinise factory too. So this year's parts will be old good TLG quality. Since this discussion fullfilled its purpose, I'll close this topic. Please feel free to use the search function if you want to explore other discussions on the same matter, or refer to the Minifigures Collection #1 reviews and the comments by our Ambassador CopMike therein LuxorV
  21. This kind of questions go into the Buy Sell Trade Find Forum. N.B. - you may need to become a Vassal before you can post in BSTF. LuxorV
  22. They really look great, Joey Lock You nailed them perfectly! The Hassansins are by far the most iconic, imo. And you are fast, too. Hope you had a good meal, btw LuxorV
  23. Did you by chance already attach any images to your posts in your EB history? The attachments' space has to be limited because of the huge number of members (almost 10000; * extemporary note - wow, we are nearing the size of the Immortals of Persia *). On the other hand, you can upload all the images you want on sites like Brickshelf, Flickr and so on, and deeplink them from there onto EB. LuxorV
  24. I deeplinked the image for you: you seem to only use the URL code. For linking images so that they appear in the posts (deeplinking), you have to click on the next button, IMG code (the one in step 6 of the tutorial), and put in there the complete url of your image (the one you used in the last post). Please, also try to resize your images by cutting away the huge white background around them. They will be easier to view and use. Thank you LuxorV
  25. Let me see... There are: Svelte (who's the currently craziest staff member and driving force behind the Prince of Persia Month Contest), 3D Brickthing (who took charge of the Bionicle Forum after JINZONINGEN73), Erdbeereis (great Pirate Moderatior and fantastic builder), Alice, Cutlass Iz, Peppermint_M and Sandy (our 4 new [at least for the EB News record; yes, you missed them all!] Fellow Ladies), Davey, I Scream Clone, MetroiD and Rick (all crazy enough to become more or less recent Fellows too), then Big Cam (our first member to reach the rank of Grand Duke and a great contributor to the discussions), Oky Wan Kenobi (winner of the Whack a fig 2 contest) and fenris (one of my favourite LEGO photographers, even if I never post to comment his works ). I'm sure I forgot a lot of worthy members, and I ask for their forgiveness; but I think these are already a good start for you, right? LuxorV
