  1. With the CLAAS tires? No Harvester? Maybe
  2. You can expect prelim images for the H2 sets to show up in the coming days... I came to work today and found a nice package from TLG containing their 2018 catalog, I'm not going to post any pictures because it's confidential, but I can confirm at least 2 sets with PF, the flagship is the only set that doesn't have a prelim image so don't know what that will be yet. The sets look nice imo, and it looks like the CLAAS tires are here to stay
  3. The more space your store has for lego the more discount you'll get. It's not that much of a discount and the difference between the different "levels" aren't big either, but every percent helps Most of the companies we buy stuff from work in the same way. The more we buy and the more space we give their stuff, the better discount we'll get from them.
  4. Damn that's expensive efferman... I've ordered 2 to our store and I don't wanna say how much we've paid for them, but with 25% taxes accounted for and the profit the store gotta make I'd say 150 euro or cheaper is considered a very good price here in Sweden. We're on the second highest discount "level" with them. TLG has a recommended price of 180 euro here for this set, way too much if you ask me, I'll be grabbing one at 130ish, employee discounts rule
  5. I loved building 42053, and after I added a PF kit my 10yo cousin had tons of fun with it, great set. Only thing I don't like is the clamshell bucket, not had the time to sit down and mod another bucket on it, only managed to build a small trailer for it so far. Will be following this with much interest, looking great so far!
  6. I think one of the reasons a lot of lego bikes look a bit weird is the wheels, they look too big and flimsy to represent the wheels on a real bike. Most streetbikes use 17" wheels which look a lot more beefy, I think the lego wheels are a very poor representation of a typical bike wheel. Makes it a bit harder to scale the build properly I think.
  7. The bodywork and engine looks great, very well done. The wheelbase is waaay to long, if it was a real bike it would handle like a freight train in the corners
  8. @kbalage Will you be doing a similar video of 42078?
  9. The wheel arches look horrible imo. Cheers for making the video, what other set did you also pick up, Mack?
  10. Have you gotten the set already or have you just pre-ordered it? If you have it, we want pictures!
  11. I got back into lego a couple months ago after like 13 years of dark ages, bought a couple IR receivers and both remote controllers. Enjoyed building with them at first but eventually took the plunge and got an SBrick, oh my what a difference, both in performance and the space it takes up in your models! My IR components are at the bottom of my boxes now and I doubt I'll ever use them again, the SBrick does everything so much better and if you add up the cost of 2 receivers and 2 remote controllers there's not much difference. You definitely won't regret getting an SBrick, and now you can even use them with Android compatible (I think?) console controllers, haven't tried it myself but everyone who has seems very positive about how it works.
  12. I just picked up 42009 for 100 euro, no instruction included but they're available on the web, proper bargain Cheapest on BrickLink is around 160 euro I think.
  13. Hear hear, pointless to speculate and argue about colors, we'll all find out once the sets are out. Which feels like a million years away
  14. You should be able to see this in stores a couple days before Christmas, the idea being that TLG wants to sell as many sets as possible and Christmas is the biggest time of year for selling their sets.
  15. Not counting all the other parts you'd get, I'd hardly call 100 euro cheap
  16. Just got my hands on the 42056 Porsche for 150 euro, box still sealed
  17. ~170 Euro. I'm sure you'll be able to find it both cheaper and more expensive depending on where you look. Here in Sweden you can always find sets at 15-20% cheaper than the by TLG recommended price, typically in webshops.
  18. What function would the motor power though? I doubt there's a gearbox so it would be limited to one function, either drive or the winch, which both seem so not worth getting a PF set for imo...
  19. Yes, but only as far as you can throw it...
  20. No PF logo on the box, that has to be wrong?
  21. Won't know for sure until we get the order confirmation, typically about a week before we get the delivery. I know I'll be pissed if it gets pushed to H2
  22. I really doubt it. I've already put in an order for it (and a ton of other 1H sets) set to deliver for mid Dec, and TLG has never failed us yet. 42078 is listed as a set you can order for this year and I have no doubts TLG will deliver.
  23. Beautiful MOC and presentation! Performance looks very good, packs a good punch in a compact and elegant package
  24. We usually get the H1 sets about a week before Christmas here, it's definitely the time of year when we sell the most lego (and toys in general). But seeing people already picking up sets now in mid November seems very early indeed.
