  1. Wasn't the PF system introduced in mid 2007?
  2. Sorry, what I meant was that it's not listed anywhere in the spreadsheet with all the H1 models that I got from TLG. Might be that it won't be available in Sweden, but that seems odd.
  3. Where are you getting the info about 42084? It's not listed as a set for 2018 H1 at least, so doubt we'll see that before summer 2018.
  4. Like I said, the prices recommended by TLG are usually way higher than what you'll actually pay. I can find 42070 for 1999SEK at a bunch of places, which is just above 200 euro. Sure there are places who actually go with the recommend prices, but my guess is they're not gonna sell a lot of boxes.
  5. Alright so here's the info I've got... Prices have been converted from SEK to EUR, they might not be the same for other parts of the world. It should also be noted that these prices are the ones recommended by TLG and you can probably find them on webshops for up to 20% cheaper. For example TLG has a recommended price of 2499SEK for the 42055 bucket wheel excavator, I picked mine up online for 1890SEK... 42071, Bulldozer compctor, 17EUR 42072, CRASH!, 25EUR 42073, CRUSH! (not sure if that one got translated right) 25EUR 42074, Racing yacht, 35EUR 42075, Rescue vehicle, 45EUR 42076, Hovercraft, 80EUR 42077, Rally car, 110EUR 42078, Doesn't say what it is but we all have our suspicions right, 185EUR Didn't get any pictures yet and they're not up on the Lego B2B site yet either.
  6. Had a look at the price list for the H1 sets now. They've set the recommend price of 42078 to 1799SEK, which is roughly 185EUR or 215USD. They didn't include the name of the set though, just a bunch of numbers and letters for now. All the other new sets were named, I'll compile a list of them with the recommended prices if you want.
  7. Crap, that's what I meant, as far as H2 sets go I didn't hear anything
  8. The only thing I know is we'll get them delivered to our store on December 20th the earliest, I can't bloody wait! I most likely won't be getting the Mack truck because I find trucks incredibly boring and lacking features, exceptions being crane/tow trucks like the Arocs for example. However, if it turns out there'll be some cool pneumatic functions or a nice amount of power functions and a decent b-model I'll definitely give myself a box of 2 for Christmas
  9. Haven't introduced myself in the technic forum really. I work at a store that sells LEGO among a million other stuff, for me this means getting mean discounts on ALL sets. Unfortunately, we mostly market to kids so our technic section is laughable, and the only set that you can order one of is the mindstorms one, all the other major technic sets come in a box of 2 and I can't justify that economically at the moment. Will be meeting with our Lego salesman on Tuesday however and I'm gonna press him a bit on the 2018 technic sets, if I find something out I'll post it on here. However, if it's all hush hush I'll let you know it's on its way, without saying what IT is Really hope he's bringing some sort of catalogue, this is usually the time we'll see the stuff we're gonna start pushing before Christmas. I'll share what I can, and nothing more
  10. You can choose to resize the images when you upload them to imgur, handy feature when you're posting on forums
  11. You can resize the pictures on imgur when you upload them, very handy feature
  12. Thanks for the advice guys, I will try and build some sort of pressure relief system then, just adds to the fun of building
  13. Hey, Last time I played with pneumatics was some 18 years ago with the 8462 tow truck, don't have any experience with the V2 parts. I remember hoses flying off their connections due to high pressure, is this fixed with the V2 ones? I plan on building an excavator where I'll have 3 small pumps run by a PF motor, is there some part that dumps air when the pressure reaches a certain level or does the pumps have a similar feature built in nowadays? Cheers
  14. That looks amazing! Did you get the inspiration from Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak?
  15. Started building this beast yesterday and halfway through I've already decided I want to RC mod it later on. As of now I'm thinking of adding 4L motors and 1M motor, most likely I'll go down the SBrick route. Read somewhere that the SBrick can overheat if it's running too many motors at once, can it handle 3L motors at once? With proper gearing I could probably get away with adding 2L motors and 3M motors instead which would mean lower load on the SBricks. Don't have any fancy LDD sketches yet, just thought I'd wing it until I've played around with LDD a bit and fully understand it Cheers
  16. Hello, I'm degenerate and after being free of my lego addiction for 13 years I've finally given in to temptation and fallen back It started as a joke the other week when I told my girlfriend I had bought us a new motorcycle, she got furious that I had spent our savings as first but when I came home with the Lego BMW R1200GS she couldn't help but laugh (we both love bikes). Building Lego again was so much fun that I brought home another box the day after, the 42062 (we sell Lego among other things at work so I get awesome discounts). At that point I was full on hooked and without thinking a second about it I went ahead and ordered the largest set I could get my hands on, the 42055. Well it arrived yesterday and we spent all afternoon and most of the evening building it in slow motion, savoring every sweet second of it. Got about halfway through it, all I can think of at work today is "please let this be over so I can get home and finish building this behemoth of a set!" So much have changed since last I built legos, my largest sets back then were the 8452 power puller and the 8462 tow truck (all time favorite, got ages of fun out of that one), can't wait to get my hands on some of the newer stuff! You'll find me in the Technics forums, looking for inspiration and hopefully contributing a bit once I've got my hands on some more parts Thanks for reading, I'll see you around!
