  1. The release of these sets is scheduled for August, so a long time left.
  2. Yes, the links were deleted, not by TLG. I'll bet there's a good amount of people on here who has them saved down, those who don't will have to wait for official images.
  3. I'm not sure tbh, the only reason that the PF/pneumatic combo makes sense is if you have a motorized pump. I can't see any other function the motor could power that wouldn't be stupid and make this set (which I'm guessing will cost a good bit, PF+pneumatic) so not worth the money.
  4. You can see a blue pneumatic house going from the rear to the front on 42080, I would be very surprised if there wasn't a PF powered pump somewhere in it, but then again it looks pretty small, so not sure if it would fit.
  5. I actually like 42080! Let's not forget there will probably be a bunch of stickers in the finished model which will help smooth out the "color barf", I'm sure
  6. I know of 2 new dragons. Jay's dragon "Stormbringer", a blue one Kai's dragon, "Firstbourne", a red one Set to release in June 2018
  7. The new X-wing looks good. I forwarded a bunch of prelim images/set info to another member on here, I reckon he'll give you some more info on the sets that aren't confidential still when he has time to post it.
  8. @Thirdwigg Yeah, it's also hard to tell because the original images in the catalog are about 5x5 cm, hardly high-res
  9. @Thirdwigg If it was those 2 parts then that would make the beam between the connectors 2 studs wide, and looking at the pictures it looks like it's only 1 stud wide.
  10. Didn't notice it before, but the more I look at it now the more I think you're right.
  11. I suppose you are talking about the bracing on the boom of 42082? It does kind of look like it to be honest...
  12. It is a bit ironic that the autonomous vehicle is 100% manually controlled though
  13. I don't think so either, but then again it wouldn't be the first time they did
  14. It's to make room for all the Billund air Jokes aside, maybe there's a new part that takes up a fair bit of space in the box (please be an XL turntable) or something, or it's just a trick to get people to think it's bigger than it is. Although it does look massive and you never know whats going on inside of it, could be packed full of gears or whatnot. I think the actual size of the model will surprise most of us. @Bartybum The small things next to the forest harvester are a chainsaw and a thing I don't know the english name for, it's like an X shaped stand that you use when cutting logs, if that makes sense
  15. The harvester looks better in the catalog tbh. The lime green looks like the one in 42065 and the darker green looks like the one in 42008, it doesn't look that bad I think, just my shitty camera messing it up Edit: Okay so, I tried measuring the height of the crane in relation to the height of the tires, and it's a guessing game really... The crane measures 12mm high and a tire is anything between 1-1,5mm, hard to get a good measurement. I doesn't look like there's 3 numbers on there though, my guess would be it says 85 or 95cm on the box, looks like either one if you ask me.
  16. Yeah, there is a small image on the box which shows the height of the crane with the boom extended, unfortunately it's too small to make out what the numbers say. I'm gonna try and get a sense of the height based on the diameter on the wheels in a bit, just finishing up lunch at work then I'll get back on it
  17. If you're talking about 42082 I think you're right, but I wouldn't write it off completely just yet. As to 42083 we will have to wait and see, if it's another supercar it could beat the Mack in terms of part count, maybe.
  18. @Ngoc Nguyen About 42081, the rear body can move up and down (and a bit back and forth at the same time?) if you look at the small image on bottom right corner of the box it should be a bit clear. Still not sure if I like it, but I'll probably get it anyways for the bucket and wheels. Price shouldn't be too hefty since there are no PF or pneumatics.
  19. Yeah, bigger sized 8270 is about right
  20. @I_Igor Those are very spot on actually, the Volvo loader looks a little bit different, I haven't managed to find a good image of the "real" concept they've based the model on yet...
  21. If I have to guess I would say that the PF in 42080 is to power a pneumatic pump, which is another interesting feature we haven't seen in too many sets. Honestly can't see any other point for PF in that set.
  22. Its nearly Christmas, so why not 42079, Forklift This is the smallest of the models, looks like it's sitting on 4 62,4mm tires 42080, Forest Harvester This looks really cool, has 4 axles, PF and pneumatics, very different model from what we usually see 42081, Volvo Autonomous Some futuristic looking concept loader, CLAAS tires and the massive bucket from 42030 by the looks of it, no PF or pneumatics but I spot at least 1 large LA 42082, Rough Terrain Crane This thing looks awesome, 4 Unimog tires PF with 1 L motor, massive 2 stage boom. Box has a front flap, it's also the biggest sized box of all. Comes with a couple of "walls" so you can assemble a small module house of some sort. 42083, No info on this one yet The box is slightly smaller than 42082, but as I mentioned before this one comes packaged 1 set/ctn, it could be a new supercar due to how it's packaged, it will be a very expensive set either way. That's all folks, merry christmas! @Saberwing40k There is no name for 42083 at all, it only says "Lego technic confidential" and the dimensions of the box, 570 x 375 x 150mm
  23. We'll be getting PF components in the 2H sets, so don't think an upgraded PF system is likely before 2019. Another interesting note, there might be an app controlled batmobile coming late next year, that's in the super heroes theme though but will still be interesting.
  24. Time will tell, I know I wouldn't mind a massive backhoe
  25. The flagship could be a backhoe, no idea what that's gonna be as there is no image for it. I can promise it's going to be an expensive one though, the box is of the same size as the other large sets but this one is packaged 1 set/ctn, the only other set that is packaged like this is the Mindstorms. Even the BWE and 42070 are packaged 2 sets/ctn, my guess is that this set is going to be in the same price range as the Porsche was when it came out, but I might be wrong
