  1. Another LDD project; a custom made SW ship. It will be pretty large, larger than the Y-wing.
  2. This is just awesome! Really great to see those guys in real. Just one little tiny thing, the Snowtroopers' pauldron(?) made out of 1x6 tiles looks pretty good, but it still seems a little odd to me. I don't know if this would look good, but maybe you could try to use two, white minifig cape's?
  3. I would like to have the Galactic Empire symbol, as I'm a big fan of OT and especially the Empire, obviously. I like the CIS too, but they finish second. Thanks!
  4. I was actually thinking about those creations last week, glad you opened a thread about it angel.
  5. Hello,

No problem if you want the lxf file! I appreciated it when people like my work. :) I don't have time now, but I will give you a link to the Tantive IV as soon as possible. ;)

If I would forget it tomorrow, just send me a PM and I will link the lxf file.

    Greetings.

  6. The Falcon was actually only there to accompany the Tantive IV, not to be in the spotlights, so don't be too harsh on the little fella.
  7. Indeed it does. You can recognize the thing at the bottom, which is the magazine in real, as it's based on the C96 Mauser pistol.
  8. Than what's the difference between sci-fi and SW?
  9. Excellent is the right word to describe this piece of art. What a well-shaped and detailed ship, it has some kind of ''odd'' look over it, which seems perfect for a bounty hunter. The color scheme is sweet, very ''star-warsy'', I used the same scheme a couple of months back for an airspeeder I made. Lots of gray, and touches of dark blue and -tan. And I love the cannons.
  10. Nice one Doc! Any plans on building this for real?
  11. You mean, that I should replace this part for the better look of the model? Am I right?

Yes, that's correct. You might try to make the container out of plates or bricks, as it would make your creation even better detailed.

  12. Hello,

I was just searching forums and noticed that I never responded on your question in the topic about your LDD creation here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=60499

As I don't want to bump up the thread, I'll answer it here for you. :)

  13. Awesome! What a beautiful ship.. so much details! The use of the bley and dark bley wedge plates fitting right in each other is sweet, so is the black front section with all those antennas. I love the escape pod and the two pilot seats even more. Looks like they came straight out of a sci-fi movie.
  14. The Falcon is not very popular, is it? Okay, okay, I'll erase it when I have time..
  15. Wow, this is massive! What an amazing detailed scene you have made there. Besides all the little details you put in, the large wall is certainly one of the best parts here.
  16. What's so bad about the Midi Falcon and Star Destroyer? The SD was accurate if you ask me and good for display. And it got you all covered if you was hunting for wedge plates. I kick myself for not living in France or the UK, as I can't import the 8099 from Amazon to my country, where it's about half the price compared to Holland.
  17. Hmm, yes, I had the same feeling all the time, while I didn't know what was ''wrong'' with the engine block. It might be the space between the outer engines at the left and right, as there should be more space between them.
  18. Even more LDD work for the community build: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=61726
  19. Hello folks, As it will still take a couple of weeks before I finally have access to my lego collection again, I have to entertain myself with LDD in the meantime. So why not put my 2 cents in the community build going on at the moment? Today I present you a midi-scale Tantive IV accompanied by the Millenium Falcon. Enjoy.
  20. An amazing ship you made there ''Si-Magnanimous''! It's awesome, the thing on the bottom immediately reminded me of the Nebulon-B. A very detailed and well-shaped ship!
  21. I don't see what's the point of playing features in a UCS set anyway. Who do they expect to buy a $400 set? 10-year olds? If I would spend such an amount of money on a UCS set, I would judge it on the looks and price. Not the playing features!
  22. When taking a look at the OT, a lot of fanon and comic ships just don't fit in there. Sure, the SW universe is huge and we don't know about what does not ''exist'' there, but that would mean I could make a little pony with a engine up his a$$ and calling it ''Star Wars''. Yeah, right. We can't know if it NOT exists, can we? For me everything that fits the SW universe from the movies is considered ''real''. So no flying pirate ships or other crazy sci-fi stuff. Otherwise we may as well combine the sci-fi and SW forum, as everything fits the SW theme anyway according to some.
  23. Not bad Lothos! You've added some nice details, like the cilinders around the engine, the chains and the guns. For me this definitely fits the Steampunk theme. As for the constructive criticism, I would recommend to use a white background, so the model stands out more.
  24. A little strange indeed... but nice! I wonder though, what's the bley piece at the back?
  25. Not bad MK! A nice idea to post the scratch builds, as it can inspire other members. I think you should make something out of the first scratch build though. The design is pretty cool and the color scheme is sweet.
