Nice one Masked Builder! I had the same critique as Oky, but before complaining I read you're going to finish the details. I'm looking forward to the end result.

Sweet collection Oky. I have a question though; are the Stormies' legs custom or from another SW figure?

Sweet! I can't spot any studs, which is always a win for a stud hater like me. The second shot is cool too, the darkness of the cave opposite the sun coming trough.
-
Very nice. The overall look and detailing is great, is has a very realistic feeling too.

Great work! Especially the dark, first shot is sweet. The background is a nice detail, it makes the scene stand out even more.

I especially like the first one LuxorV! And the super battle droid is just hilarious.

Community Build: SW Episode V - Empire Strikes Back

Can you add the LDD R5 unit? http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=61172 Thanks. -
Glad you like it fallenangel309. I didn't actually know that this droid also contained some blue elements. I thought it was red and white all the way. I'll change that, but I'll probably make a new, and wider body. The third leg isn't retractable. I might try to create that function at the next version though. Thanks! I still want to build an R2-D2 head though, but I don't know how yet. This R5 was a little easier due to the fact that has head is flat on top.

Oops, sorry, I didn't saw your link. My fault.

[MOC] Mission 10.3 - Geonosis: A Sandbox from Hell

I'm wondering though; how did you connect the 1x4 tiles at the spire? Did you just connected them at a stud and angled them a little? -
Wow, amazing! It has a really good wasteland look all over it, and details like the angled position of the structures make this creation even better.
-
Awesome creation tchuk-norst! You've made well use of the viking ship hulls, and the detailing is really good on this one. Nice dual cannons too.
-
Very nice. A detailed and sweet looking ship. I really like the cargo bay you made, realistic and nicely detailed. The only thing I would do is making some more shots of the ship in different angles, so we can see the overall shape better so as the details. And good luck on the contest.

Agree on that! A mini sandcrawler would be neat, and as Jawa's are pretty rare I assume, it would be an easy way to get your hands on some of the little fellas. Besides that one, I would like to see: - Geonosis with a J-1 semi-autonomous proton cannon and a Droideka figure. - Alderaan with the Sundered Heart and a Captain Antilles figure. - Naboo with a Lucrehulk-class battleship and a Rune Haako figure. You probably mean the AT-RT.
-
Thanks! No, I haven't any plans on building more of them, but when I have access to my Lego collection again, I might build this in real. Actually, I wanted to make R2-D2, but his round head was very hard to make on this scale, so I decided to make an R5 unit.

This is awesome! I love it. It's all smooth and accurate, amazing job!

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Hollander replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The only thing I'm worried about is which sets NOT to get. I didn't buy anything yet of the previous wave, I'll only pick up the Dathomir speeder and Geonosian fighter I guess. The money I'll safe will be spended on the first 2012 sets. As a huge fan of astromech droids, I'm sure all the sets including the new R5 unit are a most-have for me. -

My opinion on the Y-wing; it's pretty cool but it could be better. Overall, I prefer this version over the prvious one (7658). Although it might be hard to find an alternative, the domes at the top of the engines just seem to small for me. The ''head'' and body seems okay to me though. -

Yes, the Y-wing does have those copper wings all over it's body. -
Glad you guys like this creation. The LDD file, here you go: .lxf file Note: I used flex cable to make the left and right ''feet'' of the droid bow a little, but it appears that after loading the file, the cable has been removed. Note 2: I forgot that those two things, connecting his feet with his legs, weren't actually finished. They should be covered with tiles.

That's great! You always amaze me with your simple but cleverly designs.

Nice work Doc! Your goal to achieve an instant Geonosion feeling is accomplished, if you ask me. -
In contrast to the Y-wing, I made this the way so it can be made in real.
