Are we sure? Because that suit has leg printing, but Iron Venom reputedly doesn’t? Are they going to have the legs be pure black and the symbiotic having taken over Iron Man from the chest down? That would be kinda lame.

I build on baseplates just because it’s convenient.

So, open question to longer-term Star Wars collectors with big collections; how do you resolve all the different variations of various types of Stormtroopers? I’m not talking about the difference between, say, Stormtroopers and Shadowtroopers, I’m talking about how every few years LEGO ‘updates’ the standard Stormtrooper design with new helmet, or prints, or both. For long-term collectors and/or army builders, how do you resolve all the little differences between each iteration of what are ostensibly supposed to be identical figures?

This isn’t like the knockoff custom Iron Venom that’s everywhere in the custom figures on eBay, right? I honestly can’t be bothered finding a link to demonstrate, but if it is I’ll be disappointed.

Crossbones’ Hazard Heist back during CW was mostly just tactical suits.

I hope we get two different Black Widow minifigures. Her white outfit makes her look like a Stormtrooper and I love it.

And Monster Fighters was perfect? Because personally, it was decidedly not.

It probably will be an army builder, but I do expect at least one, preferably two exclusive figures. We had a non-canon Tournament Zane a while back (though that was Skybound, a whole year after the Tournament of Elements) so an exclusive Avatar Zane could happen.

I think I’ve already mentioned my plans to get a second ‘Mermaid Troll’ and replace its head with a 2x2 round purple jumper and a flame part to recreate King Trollex’s hair? Still, true, I’m sure better people than I have some really great plans.

The tag line is literally ‘A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away . . .’ That’s pretty clear about when it’s set.

If it comes to that, I suspect people might just create a totally new site. Neo BrickLink - LinkBrick, if someone’s feeling especially cheeky. Or else they could go to eBay. (I know, I know, eBay has listing fees, but a profit cut is better than no sale, right?) Yeah, but this is LEGO we’re talking about. Comparatively speaking, they are a shining beacon of company policy compared to most major businesses. They’re not perfect - Australia gets screwed over a lot - but I highly doubt things’ll be too bad.

On behalf of the estate of Count Fenghuang, I congratuate you, Sir icm. And fair. I use them, though. Here’s hoping they do more updated Classic Space figures to go with Benny’s Space Squad. The new Ninjago Gamer’s Market has an un-cracked version of Benny’s helmet, IE the Kenny/Lenny/Jenny helmet in blue, so they obviously haven’t forgotten about it. I’m hoping for grey and green versions of that helmet soon so we can have proper Green/Grey Classic Spacemen.

They might have been? Those designations are from Jens Nygaard Knudsen (creator of Classic Space and the LEGO minifigure itself) though they might be retroactive. Sourced from Brickipedia, though it’s usually good about stuff like this.

I remember reading that, officially speaking, the Classic Space astronaut jobs are as follows; Red: Pilot Yellow: Explorer White: Scientist Blue: Soldier Black: Spy Obviously, there was no official designation for the Green, Grey and Pink Classic Spacemen, so I consider the Greens as Mech Pilots, Pink as Medics (as others have said here) and Grey as Mechanics, a classification I found to be a very notable absence from the roster. (Also, this is my first post in the Sci-Fi forum, yay!)

To say they’ve been released is a stretch, they’ve been revealed as being available next year. Got a couple of months yet.

I like them too. I plan on getting the Volcano Rock City, Pop Village Celebration, Poppy’s Pod, two Techno Reefs (so that I can modify one ‘mermaid’ into an accurate King Trollex) and, budget allowing, the Air Balloon Adventure (but only if I have enough spare cash). That way I should be able to get all of the characters except the centaur in Lonesome Flats and enough duplicate Poppy and Branch figures to throw together a couple of custom ‘nameless villagers’ to add to my fantasy district alongside all of the named characters. (Throw a Branch hair and some pure navy blue legs on the rock disguise variant Poppy and I’ll have a great backup singer for Barb.)

You’re not counting the cloud people? I would, personally. Sure, they’re brick-built, but so is Unikitty.

You mean the Lonesome Flats set? It has three, though? Poppy, Branch and the centaur whose name I don’t know? Four if you count the little critter with the big mouth.

Ooh that ice cream truck is adorable! it looks just like the Pizza Truck from . . . was it really 2017? . . and that’s had pride of place in my city for quite a while, and I suspect this one will join it! And the Street Sweeper, and the Mail Plane, these are all so good! HOLYSHITHOLYSHITHOLYSHIT! There’s an image on #legoleaks of a new official white baseplate? Is this real? I don’t remember hearing anything about a white baseplate. This is so good if it’s real, I have bought so many knockoff brand white baseplates because I needed snowy areas in my layout and official ones would be sweet!

Well, the full lineup’s been revealed. Gotta say, when I heard there was going to be a Pillager Outpost set, I thought it might actually include, oh I don’t know, a Pillager Outpost? Even a scaled down one? Well, whatever. I’m still getting it, the Iron Golem cage is great, and the tent and scarecrows work well enough as generated structures. Also definitely getting the Pillager Raid set, which might just be the best Minecraft set in a long time. Sure, the Raveger is off-colour (should really be grey) but new villagers and a Vindicator, it’s brilliant! Getting that one as well. I also like the Taiga set, though mostly for that adorable fox. I’m less sold on the panda set (no Jungle tree? Boo. And the big figures are as dumb as ever. Still, great wave, and the first time I’ll buy Minecraft Lego in ages.
