    Okay, I’m not a fan of these being billed as Expansion Sets, but . . come on, that castle and Bowser look awesome and I want them.

    Wait, that packaging’s legit? But it looks so stupid. Exactly. I actually like the art style of the Hidden Side boxes, but this is a step too far, not even showing the model at all.

    Seriously? Was I the only one who looked at this system and immediately realised “Actually, 200 parts is going to go a long way with these new Heroica-like plates,”? Honestly, if anything I thought the Starter Set would be slightly larger. Though there are a couple of unused parts, it could probably be made a bit bigger by rearranging some things.

    I’m sure those will come in other sets. Personally, I’m happy with this set. It’s slightly smaller than I expected from the Starter Set and I feel like it would benefit from one more enemy other than the Goomba and Bowser Jr. but it’s nice. Still, not something I’d want to buy unless the other sets are awesome and make me want to get this and try the game. It is waaaaaay too early to say that. Mario comes in this set, we know that. We have zero confirmation at all that he doesn’t come in any other sets and won’t until we see the full wave. Personally I’m hopeful.

    I think they’re designed to fit with the existing hat/hair mould from last year. So Parker can be wearing both her beanie and headphones at once. Personally, I like them.

    This is wonderful. I really hope this makes it as a set, I would buy it day one. I’m very much part of the LU ‘cult following’. Ah, fond memories. So much nostalgia!

    Awesome! I did not expect the Sorceror’s Dragon to have more than 1000 pieces. This just seems like confirmation of what I saw in that very fuzzy prelim picture a while back; that there’s going to be a side build that attaches to the Dungeon in the Dragon set. It can’t be long until we get official images, right? If these are still releasing in June?

    I’m not sure if you8ve been watching the show but the suits didn’t automatically change. I suspect they’ll appear within the next couple of episodes as disguises or something, similar to the Rebooted suits.

    Well, they’ve reused leg printing before. Skybound anyone? This wave is supposed to give us the first Wu-focused set since the 2015 Master Wu Dragon. (Unless you count the Bounties or Monastery as Wu sets but I really don’t.) I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a new Wu. Really the question is will he be armoured or just a new robe design? (Though if they did reuse the 2019 version I wouldn’t complain too much since I skipped the Land Bounty and do like caped Wu.) Though, it would be cool if they followed the Castle theme a little more and gave us a ‘King Wu’ . . unlikely, but cool.

    Oh my god this set is amazing. I need it. I’ve been building a spaceport in my city and a massive communications rig like that would be perfect, and WW and Cheetah both look incredible. Day 1 buy, I can’t wait! . . I just hope I’ll actually be able to get it in Australia given the country’s on lockdown. :(

    So, there’s a rumour circulating on #legoleaks that there’s going to be a Starcourt Mall set coming up. I’m sceptical, but figured I should toss it out here.

    Personally, I went the opposite way; the Skull Sorceror could easily be reinterpreted as a plague doctor or dark mage or evil priest with some modification. And the orcs and goblins are nd skeletons are all good by me. But the uses of the new armoured ninja outfits seem rather limited to me. (The mismatched arms don’t help - who only has armour on one arm? Budget cuts?) Like, go all the way ninja suit or all the way knight suit, but I don’t really know what to do with these weird half-and-half suits. I’ll probably use them as castle guards of some sort - they’re all wearing the armour over the Forbidden Spinjitzu suits so I’ll probably get maybe two armoured Jays or Coles (depending on figure distribution) and put them together with a Forbidden Spinjitzu non-armoured version of the same suit as representing ‘underarmour’, or a guard who hasn’t gotten dressed yet. But honestly I just don’t think these outfits are generic enough. Though, we haven’t seen Zane or Kai yet. Hopefully they’ll be a pleasant surprise.

    I’ll also point out that that moustache part was originally introduced in Ninjago for Flintlocke, who is about as far as possible from Mario.

    Sorry to interrupt what is obviously a highly nuanced and intellectual discussion - and sorry for real if this has been covered already and I missed it because COME ON THIS THREAD IS NINETY-TWO PAGES AND WE DON’T EVEN HAVE SET IMAGES YET - but that one leaked Luna figure with the new (awesome) hair and the sleeveless vest, are we sure the standard ‘full-size legs’ are right and not just the leaker putting the wrong legs on her? Because she’s supposed to be in fourth year during Order of the Phoenix, and they established last year with the two Tournament Harry figures and the Yule Ball versions of the Trio that fourth-year Hogwarfs students are represented using mid-size legs. It’d be weirdly inconsistent for Luna to have full size legs at the same age.
