  1. While waiting for the HMS Queen to be repaired in Stormhaven following a storm, Major Brickford received new orders from Colonel Allcock. He was to proceed to the Carnite settlement of Neustadt in order to make contact with the authorities there regarding the upcoming campaign against the Lotii Fortifications at Neustadt 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Once arriving and landing with his aide along with a few regulars, he inquired about where to find the governor. The guards in the port suggested checking out the gun emplacements not far from the harbour. Fortifications at Neustadt 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Governor Eugen von Kraft was doing an inspection of a newly constructed section of palisade built to repel any Lotii invaders. Major Brickford walked up, greeted the Governor and handed him the sealed documents from Colonel Allcock detailing the current situation in the New Haven Sea and Corrington's and Oleon's offer of a joint military campaign in the region. Fortifications at Neustadt 3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr After skimming through the letter, he suggested that the Major and himself sit down to discuss the situation further. --------------------------------------- OOC: Checking up on our neighbors C&C are welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking!
  2. That round bass is very well done! Holds all the foliage in very nice. That fallen log steals the show for me, and the saddle! I like was you've come up with on that.
  3. Nicely done! The colors are really nice and the it has a clean look about it.
  4. Beautiful ship @NOD! It looks great from every angle and the brick built sails + rigging is awesome.
  5. Simple yet nice. I like the marble dome.
  6. A great build as usual! It's always nice to see the green jackets of the 95th!
  7. Thank you! Micro is definitely not my strong build style, but I like how it turned out. I figured 300 dbs would be sufficient to get him on his way to build some great stuff.
  8. Much appreciated @Ayrlego!
  9. It was a long patrol for the Quinnsville Gunboats. When a thick fog started to roll in, the commanders decided that it was time to pull into port. In the fog, the gunboats began to fire the small deck guns aboard to keep track of each other. 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr One commander thought he heard an extra shot in the fog (an echo perhaps) and in a panic ordered the large cannon aboard to be fired, striking an innocent merchant vessel! 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr After locating the vessel 'Vengeance of the Desert', in the ensuing confusion the gunboats collided with one another. QV Gunboat No.3 was a lost cause, and No.2 was in rough shape. With the innocent merchant ship being in the best shape of them all, they cast a rope and towed into port. The commanders knew they'd be scrubbing the poop deck for this one... 3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Once Mayor Richard Brickford got word of what happened, he immediately had the ship taken to the Quinnsville shipyards for a full refit at no charge. He had the crew put up at the local ETWC Inn and paid for the men to have a night of drinking at the Green Dragon Tavern. qv 4.0 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr By daybreak, after round the clock work, the 'Vengeance of the Desert' was seaworthy once again. After trading what goods were not damaged and filling the hold, Mayor Brickford personally saw them off with bellies full and purses bursting. (300 Dbs for the mistake). ----------------------------------------------- In an effort to keep the peace and as a gesture of good faith, the 'Vengeance of the Desert' is returned to @omnihash_cz and a balance of 300 Dbs is transferred to your account for any inconvenience.
  10. Have no fear good sir! This error enacted by the gunboat commanders of Her Majesty's settlement of Quinnsville will be rectified shortly. The Mayor of Quinnsville extends his utmost sincere apologies for the negligence of his Gunboat Commanders. (OOC) Whoops! Check a wrong box while filling out the tMRCA forms. You will be compensated for the inconvenience!
  11. Beautiful! The striking yellow with the landscape and trees is awesome. The scattered leaves are also a nice touch.
  12. Task 12 - Mangrove Madness - Entry 1 - Delayed in Stormhaven
  13. Thank you! Yes, I've been compiling a list of things that I want to tackle on my next ship build. Admittedly, I was rather far into the build when I realized I had forgotten about the tumblehome! As for rigging, that is another thing that I really want to try my hand at. It brings the presentation of the build up several notches. Thanks! Thank you!
  14. Thank you! Yeah, I've got to get me some more of the dark green... My collection is mainly the standard light green. Vegetation is something I've always liked seeing in builds, so I've order several hundred elements to bring the builds to life better. Thank you Brickwolf! Lol! Yes, wouldn't want the Sepoy's to get sick from the swamp air! Yes, It's a tad bit small, but only the start for the ETTC in Stormhaven.
  15. The ETTC have opened an Office in Stormhaven
  16. Thanks! This is my first time really going for the swamp effect, so I'm glad it turned out. Also, I figured it would be a start to an ETTC presence in Stormhaven. Thanks! Why leave? Because there is battles to be fought and victories to be won! Thank you!
  17. Thank you! It looks sturdier than it is! Thank you! Brick built hulls give the ship a nicer look than just the prefabs I think. Thanks!
  18. Typically the turn around from KPA release to the start of the tMRCA is pretty quick (great work on the GMs part! ). In the past its been about 1-4 weeks give or take.
  19. Delayed in Stormhaven After departing Terraversa, the HMS Queen hit a storm and was blown off of their southernly course to Quinnsville. Looking for a friendly port, the Captain of the ship opted to pull into to Stormhaven for supplies and repairs before heading to Quinnsville. While there, Major Brickford decided to stretch his legs on the lengthy docks connecting the many properties of Stormhaven. One thing led to another and before long Nathaniel had struck a deal on a vacant piece of property. Noticing the a lack of ETTC presence and the potential for sugarcane profits, the flag was hoisted and a few volunteer ETTC Sepoys agreed to stay and set up a base of operations. Mangrove building 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr While not nearly as large as some of the ETTC's HQ's around the Brick Seas, it would suffice for the time being until more focus could be dedicated to the settlement. Mangrove Building 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr However, no time could be wasted, the HMS Queen was repaired and on to Quinnsville! ------------------------------------- My first entry for GOC task 12: Mangrove Madness. Building to be licensed as a small commerce by the ETTC. C&C are welcome and appreciated and thanks for looking!
  20. Class 5 - HMS Queen After much deliberations at the Pine Island Monastery , it was finally time for Sir Major Brickford to depart from Terraversa and make haste to Brickford Landing. After tidying up some loose ends in Westface, the newly arrived ship from the Quinnsville shipyards had just arrived, the HMS Queen. Ship2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr After narrowly escaping a battle with Oleon, who could have predicted that Corrington forces would now be heading to the New Haven Sea in a joint effort. Either way, the sea air felt good. Ship3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr ---------------------------------------- Thanks for looking! I've had this ship built for months, and I figured it was high time that I posted it and got the Major to the New Haven sea before I miss the fighting! Extra pics in the spoiler.
  21. A nicely lined up column of troops never gets old for me.
  22. Saw the WIP in the faction thread, turned out great Evan!
  23. Another fantastic write-up and some good results as well! Now, what to do with Quinnsville's new ship...
