Ursus 912 Tractor

I think you could do it. Perhaps a nice trailer or plough? -
Ursus 912 Tractor
Sjoemie himself replied to M_longer's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Really nice tractor, looks exactly like the real life one. The Renault also looks great. Are you planning on building some implements for this tractor? -
Hi Doug. Interesting solutions. The last one kind of looks like a clock. I know there are some LEGO clock builders on this forum. Perhaps you could take a look at one of their threads? Because a clock is also basically a stepper-mechanism.. The clocks I have seen only use a weight and gravity to power the step, so I would suggest that you could convert a clock mechanism (gravity) to motor driven with using just one motor.

I'm normally more of a Technic fan but I also really like this MOC! Great work, I especially enjoy the Ent you've created!

Valid point and valid question.. probably a question which has no definitive answer. Might be down to design. Some movies turn out to be a hit and some do not. Same goes for LEGO sets.. My point being, I understand that some Technic sets are great, technically interesting and correct, others are not. Which is not awesome but there's really not much we can do about it. No point in being negative about the same model and/or design constantly.

Although he is right about most things, especially the model being too expensive for the parts that have gone into this model, I think one thing is being overlooked.. Are we not a little bit spoiled maybe? Are we not expecting things from a children's toy which are not to be expected from a children's toy? I mean i'm coming out of my dark ages, when I look back at LEGO technic about 15-20 years ago, and I take a look a what is possible with today's LEGO. That's a huge difference. We've got pneumatics, linear actuators, remote control, servomotors, gearboxes, whole world's of new parts, tires and so on.. All this in what originally was (and I think partially still is) a childs toy. Now take a look at any other toy. Have these toys over the years transformed and upgraded in the same way as LEGO has? I think not.. just my two cents

[MOC] Koenigsegg One:1

Understandable. The guidelines state that EB does not wish to discuss, share, support and/or display criminal products and/or companies. However the statements about other (rip off) companies that are being made here (and in other topics) are in favor of LEGO and/or LEGO fans in order to warn them (you and me) about fake products. Before reading about these companies on this forum I was'nt even aware of the existence of these companies, and therefore I could have been a victim of said companies. As some other forum members here have become a victim of such practices. Although I do understand we should not be promoting other brands than LEGO I wonder if forbidding discussions about bootlegging companies is wise. Perhaps we should make a section and/or thread where we (LEGO enthousiasts) can warn each other about ripoffs, fakes and bootlegs.- 229 replies

Could you elaborate on why it is forbidden to discuss about these brands/companies?- 229 replies

Awesome model, it performs really well. Also the tracks look a lot better than just the wheels. You've certainly pushed your LEGO waaayyy further than what I personally would be comfortable with, especially with the dirt and water pretty amazing it survived!

Lego ucs falcon 10179 modifications
Sjoemie himself replied to Shadow_brick's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm not an expert on this so: how could one see the diffrence between official LEGO parts and other brands? To me this UCS falcon looks great but then again, on some bricks it says "LEGO" and other bricks there is nothing marked..? -
Technic 2018 Set Discussion
Sjoemie himself replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
To be honest i'm really pleased with the Claas tires. Finally some wheels with correct agricultural treads, which are the first ever tractor-treads since the introduction of Lego. Actually I hope Lego will introduce some smaller wheels with tractor-treads so that we can finally build 'proper' tractors. -
What is the story behind your profile picture?
Sjoemie himself replied to Robert8's topic in Community
My profile picture is that of the 42054 because I just recently bought and built this model. Since I did not have a profile picture yet I decided to photograph the Claas and upload it as my profile picture. Hoping to build and show some more agricultural models on this forum in the future. -
Front lights on the 1:1 are hidden behind a part of the grill. So if Paave based this model on the real thing it is correct that the headlights are 'hidden'.

Is it allowed to post a link which shows the picture? Or can someone tell us where this picture can be found perhaps?
