Oh my goodness, that Quinjet is better than my wildest dreams for a Quinjet. Definitely a must-buy, even if the PPP is kinda high. The Miles Morales car is pretty sweet too, and that Hulkbuster is great.
-
If that leak is real, THAT is the Hulkbuster we've been waiting for. It's so much more movie-accurate than any previous Hulkbuster (including the big one and the bigger one), and a heck of a lot more playable and affordable than a $550 garden gnome.
-
Sounds good to me!

The 2015 and 2016 Quinjets had trans dark blue windscreens, but those were already six and seven years ago.

Journey to the West is an extremely long picaresque novel with 100 chapters. Think of it like five seasons of an hour-long TV show from the nineties with 20 episodes per season, with some continuing plot and character arcs but mostly with each episode (chapter) standing alone. There's plenty of material to draw from.

Or it would work as an engine cowling or nozzle for something swooshy.

Well, I just plunked down my hundred smackers for the Bad Batch Shuttle. I’ll probably get the Scythe and the AT-TE in January or February.

I, too, just bought my fifth Galaxy Explorer. For $75 I was sorely tempted, and for $50 I couldn’t pass it up. I gave one away and built the B and C models with two of them, leaving two copies of the main model for me. Dunno, maybe I’ll part this one out. Maybe not. Edit, canceled the order. It’s not very useful for parts for the creations I have in mind, and I have been very financially irresponsible lately.

It's a lot bigger and more complex than an N-1, and there are no previous Haulcraft sets to base it off of, that's why there aren't any MOCs of it yet. Whoever makes a minifig scale version wins - I'll watch.

Thanks for a very well written and well illustrated review. I especially appreciate the comparison with the Galaxy Explorer and the Bad Batch Shuttle. In my headcanon the Scythe is a Blacktron vessel in hot pursuit of the Galaxy Explorer, so not only does the picture with the Classic Spacers standing inside the Scythe illustrate the height and volume of the usable Scythe interior, it also shows that the Blacktrons achieved their objective. Poor Classics .... Also, I've been on the fence about the Bad Batch Shuttle for a long time, but I just might pick it up today. The Scythe can wait a month or two for the next good GWP.

I understand that. Whatever legal value it may or may not have, though, that is the difference between Brickvault and Republic Bricks or All Out Bricks. I hope this doesn't lead to a widespread crackdown on selling instructions; that would be bad for the hobby and wouldn't increase Disney's revenue one whit.
-
The difference with Brickvault is that Brickvault has never sold full kits with parts and all, only instructions. Republic Bricks, on the other hand, sells full kits with parts and all, so they might be next.

LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
icm replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Here's an off-the-wall idea for an Andor set that would be more aimed at kids, but it might work. Remember the Podracing Bucket from the year 2001 or so? Well, when Cassian goes to see Bix in the first episode she is very prominently, for an extended period of screen time, working on old jet engines. How about a $70 playset of Bix's shop, with the front desk and the radio tower ... and, it just so happens, enough jet engines and scrap parts to build a little podracer? Maybe the completed podracer wouldn't be shown in the instructions except as sections of scrap (similar to the fence and water tower in Emmet and Lucy's Dream House/Rescue Rocket from TLM2, but it could be implied in marketing. Nah ... they'd never do that ... no back of the box builds anymore, sigh .... But wait! Since Lego has made online-only instructions for the fourth model (whale) for the 3-in-1 deep sea creatures Creator set, and online-only instructions for the 918-style and 924-style alt builds of the Galaxy Explorer, maybe they still could. WDYT? -
The big whale is pretty cute. I like the diversity in height and color of the Na’vi.

Some thoughts after YEARS without a castle theme
icm replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I've heard this is possible with LUGbulk orders for large registered LUGs, or for bulk bricks for Lego Certified Professionals, but this is the first I've heard where that's possible for a regular average online AFOL, much less for minifigures, especially desirable minifigures. Pray tell, how do you do that? -
If we're wishlisting RDA sets, I'd like a $150 Valkyrie shuttle and a $70 microscale ISV Venture Star.

The midsize Enterprise-A has been out of stock on the BlueBrixx website for quite some time, and I'm not familiar enough with BlueBrixx to judge whether there will be new stock. I can't find a copy of the kit for sale on Amazon or eBay, either the .com or the .de sites. Where else could I look?

Thanks for the link; I hadn't remembered where to find that thread. I'll copy my post into that thread immediately.

Some thoughts after YEARS without a castle theme

I feel somewhat the same way about Space. I was pretty "meh" about Galaxy Squad and didn't buy any of the sets when they were on shelves, but since then I've been buying most every set that reminds me of Space (except Nexo Knights). Granted, there's been quite a bit more Space-like content than Castle-like content, and I've never been one to complain about the lack of an ongoing Space theme. ... I did end up buying a couple sets from Galaxy Squad on eBay, a couple years late ... they're ok, but not great. -
I know Eurobricks isn't quite the right place to ask about this, but I don't know where else to look. DC superheroes MOC wave: Fine, I'll do it myself.

The three gimmick mechs really seem like no-brainers for TLG, I wonder why we haven’t had any for DC. -
Fortnite Battle Bus at $70-$80, like the Hidden Side bus: good idea, if late to the party Fortnite Battle Bus at $250: bad idea, and still late to the party

Wait a sec, what's this about Bionicle? Edit, saw the Instagram post. Obviously off-topic for this thread, no need to reply.

BrickLink designer program set not delivered
icm replied to legotownlinz's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Just offhand I'd say if Lego refunded the money then they're not obligated to send the sets again. As it now stands you haven't paid for them.
