I just left the stickers off the plane and the car. They look great without them. I did apply most of the stickers in the lost tomb set.

I voted for Starfleet Voyager, Cosmic Cruiser, Galactic Mediator, and Deep Freeze Defender, but my strongest preference would be for the Galactic Mediator. I really like the double-delta planform of the Galaxy Explorer, Space Shuttle, and Galactic Mediator, and I've spent a good deal of time musing about how to adapt the wings of 10283 or 10497 into a base for a modern Galactic Mediator. (No time messing about with it on Studio or IRL though.) The original version was about the same size as the modern Galaxy Explorer, but much simpler. A modem version would need only a modest bump in size to accommodate modern building techniques, but it could incorporate such improvements as a 6w-8w cockpit module with two to four seats, three point retractable landing gear, retractable or removable engines on the cockpit module (maybe inspired by the removable engines from the Dreamzzz Spacebus), a larger rover, improved prison cells with a better deployment function, better internal doors and more details and seating in the middle and aft lab sections, maybe a better-looking reduced version without the middle section ... So many fun improvements could be made to the Galactic Mediator, I think that's definitely the next remake I would want.

Sigh. Yes. I'm certainly not going to get the bigger set. It just bugs me that the ever so slightly better version of the Batmobile is paywalled behind it. The wheel hubs are different - easy fix. The side intakes are different - a little harder, but still probably an easy fix. The bat fins are built studs up instead of being tilted for a more accurate angle - this could potentially be hard to retrofit to the car in the small set, but then again it could be easy. At least the one in the small set still has the flip up guns, according to Promobricks.

Why did they have to make the Batmobile in the small set different than the Batmobile in the big set? Why, why, why? My completionist side is freaking out right now :(

I was wondering where the 300 extra parts compared to the 2020 plane would go. Looks like they went into the V tail, better wing fairings, taller landing gear, bigger engines, and the driverless people mover. The tall landing gear and the big engines look good, but the V tail ruins it. Of course I could buy the set and mod it to have a standard tail configuration. But, you know, I'd rather it came that way out of the box.

The Swamp Speeder is a pretty meh build, but it's a good way to get some 332nd troopers. I might get this one on discount. The Yoda starfighter is as expected, at first glance I don't see any difference between it and the 2017 model. The Yavin base looks ok as a build, but it really shines in the figure selection. The midi-size Y-wing looks really good, I might have to try and get that separately from the rest of the set.

That's the way it's been with City for several years now: Europe in June, North America in August. No surprise there.

Of course, we all know that after Adventurers the best action-adventure theme of all time is Time Cruisers! (The reveal of the Ninjago City Markets this morning got me thinking how amazing a 32x64 modular-adjacent set in the 4000-6000 part class with a tiled water base would be, if it was the MYSTIC MOUNTAIN TIME LAB!)

I recently bought the Cobi version, but I'm sure the Lego version will be far superior. I probably can't afford to buy it this fall though. Maybe in a couple of years when it's about to retire.

Because sometimes they aren't in stock for 2-3 days. Sometimes they're out of stock within a couple hours of release and they're not restocked for months. Also, if it's a really nice GWP it'll most likely be out of stock really quick.

For something built in only five days with only parts on hand, that is stupendous. It's a great model anyway, but especially given those constraints. Thanks for posting.
