  1. Ever and ever. I'm done with it.
  2. I thought I would share some great Haunted Houses from Brickshelf. These are all very good, a few better than others. Share your thoughts.
  3. I agree. I had something else in mind with the KC head as well, unrelated to the WW/Ghost Town. Batman did give us some good figs though. Back to the drawing board...
  4. Ya, it is a little large isn't it? Let me see what I can do, to not loose too much resolution by shrinking. OK, that's not too bad now, is it. Quite a bit smaller and I still think it looks fairly viewable.
  5. Yes, both are very good choices as well as the Graveyard Duel that SD mentioned. This is among my favorite.
  6. Someone had used the face I had in mind, so now I'm thinking of another. Not sure what I'll do yet...
  7. A howling wind begins to twirl frightfully around you chilling the flesh of your bones. Skeletons, Ghosts, and Undead Creatures of the Night begin to dance around you. It is 13 days befor Halloween, the time in which the spirits of the dead invade the living world, to haunt the places we fear the most; the dark places, the frightful places, and those places that we do not name for just their names invoke fear. In celebration of Halloween, I have chosen 12 sets that I feel are among the most spooky of the Lego collection for you to choose from. The 13th set remains unnamed for those of you who wish to select a set not on my list voting for "Other". Look at these sets carefully, for they are all possessed with spooks and haunts of Lego's most infamous of scary creatures. Discuss your selection below. *skull*
  8. Excellent! Very dark and mysterious. I like *skull*
  9. The Drowned. Western Zombies from Shiversdale. Very original. I love the face and the torso is very good. Is that a sticker BM? Also, I don't recall that face. What fig/set is that from? Oh, just answered one of my questions. It's the HP Troll. Great face for undead!
  10. Good selection. I would never have thought of using a jawa. The torso would make a good Bandito. Would have to change the head though.
  11. Me too, but we usually see it first on Eurobricks anyway.
  12. Thanks. I only have a few HP sets. Great fig!
  13. Just as an FYI: the new SAH Holiday catalogue is now out in the US. The cover has the all-new Holiday Train. The catalogue is pretty thick, but not much that we haven't seen before.
  14. Call for more entries. Anyone want to share more of their spooky builds?
  15. It's funny; but I must admit that I like most things supernatural, but believe in very few of them. I think our mind is a very powerful tool, and we can create a lot of things in our own head that we believe. This thread is a good sample of the things that can scare us, some maybe more true than others.
  16. Does it have to be Bionicle though? The theme ruins it for me!
  17. Psycho is a great classic, but it never scared me. Maybe it's the age of the original movie. Oh, I have one that I don't believe was mentioned; and one of my all time favorites. The Fog. I loved the story and very suspenseful.
  18. I think the garlic is a neat piece. I like these stamped tiles much better than the use of stickers.
  19. This one gives me the creeps! It's definately the black eye cavities.
  20. I would guess it's just hollowed out with room for a very small battery and wires.
  21. I always think of the old tale of Sleepy Hollow. A great Halloween party with hot spiced cider, a fun game of "bobbing for apples", and other Fall treats, then a spooky ride home. . . When out of the night appears the Headless Horseman on a black horse! He chases you home, getting the scare of your life. Then in the warm comforts of home, you enjoy a nice nightcap before going to sleep in a warm bed. OK, that's not exactly how the story went, but fun with friends, a good scare, and a relaxing night makes Halloween fun. *sweet*
  22. I would definately recommend this set. I hope the review helped highlight it.
  23. Nice selection Athos. This would make a good western dress (just need to loose that hat): I've got a few of the HP figs that I've used for the first version of Ghost Town. They do make some great WW figs. I esp. like this one. In what set does he appear? Oh, I considered using Alfred too, but I'm not sure about the Penguin??? I suppose it would make a good bartender. We could call him Shorty.
  24. Actually, it is. I was considering making one (much different than the HP Graveyard), but not sure.
  25. Thanks for providing. I kinda like the barrel. I think it's another good use for a great WW piece.
