  1. Not even close. I did visit Seattle once though.
  2. Also, Mr. Mason, you seem to have sailed around these parts for sometime? Perhaps you can tell us a little of what you know about him. After seeing what happened to poor Stinky, I think we should all be afraid, in fact VERY AFRAID :'-( .
  3. You know I'd never tell you what's really coming. That's just not my style ;-) .
  4. Xwing *yoda* did a nice image review. You can check it out here: Seaport Image Review
  5. Simply building on the suspense Mr. Mcleod. Does it frighten you? :'-( Thanks Otto!
  6. We have visited the galley, the engineering room, the steering room, and the cargo hold. I would suggest that we try a part of the ship where we have not been. Also Captain, is there a cargo manifest of some kind aboard our ship? It might provide us with further information regarding the cargo.

I have placed Handy in charge of the load despite his egotistical and some time argumentative manner. I know that he often times lies and offends most of the crewmen, but he is able to get things done. He's like a bulldog on a chain, but I pull it when I need to reel him in. Perhaps I'll start the day off with a drink. August 31, 12:50 PM: Over lunch, I received a special visit from the Harbor Master who emphasized the importance of getting container #6 safely to Europe. It's contents was not shared with me, but I've been told that Corporate will be sending Internal Security to assist in providing adequate safeguarding. Between the two of us, we must have drank a 12 pack. August 31, 3:30 PM: Bennie has returned from his leave. The accident required him to have a metal plate placed in his head. His speach is a bit slurred at times, and he drools on occasion, but for the most part, he can continue about his normal duties. This one's for Bennie! August 31, 6:20 PM: Oh ya, it's been one hell of a day! Otto is firing up the ovens for a special dinner. I hope he has some of that good schnapps he brought on board last time. This one's for Otto. Prost! I'm not sure about Jack. I found him sleeping on the job again. I hope that engine doesn't conk out this time. August 31, 9:15 PM: Strangely, I saw something outside my cabin this evening. I must have had one too many. I thought I saw a... no, there's no way. Green? No way. I gave the manifest to one of them. I just wish I could remember who. Wondering what the mysterious cargo is. The fog has gotten worse. August 31, 12:45 AM: My insomnia has returned. I took two of the pills, but they don't seem to work. Wide awake. I'll think I'll have a nightcap to help me sleep... Still wondering what that cargo is. Saw Wagonberry sneaking around earlier. September 1, 10:40 AM: What a night. I've got a headache from hell. I need a drink. It's too early to think about steering this ship. Manny is still convinced that the Sea Ghost is cursed, ever since last month when the container fell on Bennie. That had to hurt! Poor boy. I'm not sure if I trust Frank. Hell, I can't even understand him. He's like a character out of Moby Dick. I think the sea swallowed him up, and spit him out on the deck of the Sea Ghost. September 1, 6:00 PM: We've left port. The sea is choppy and I don't like this fog. Visibility is very poor. Stillman is an interesting character. He tells me that he has a brother that's a treasure hunter around these parts. September 1, 9:20 PM: I've decided to try to get some shut eye. Jim is noticing a lot of issues with the mechanics. I hope he can get things up to par. The Harbor Master notified me today on the short wave, says he dropped something on the ship before departure, but wouldn't tell me what. He's a mysterious fellow. September 2, 10:15 AM: Frank has been sneaking around my cabin again. I know he was in here because I can smell the scent of Old Spice. He's been looking for something, perhaps it's one of Otto's collectibles. I think Otto forgets where he hides them, and Frank keeps them for safe keeping. Thief! September 2, 2:45 PM: The engine is knocking again. We may have trouble. I'm going to have Jim check the engine. Should know more this evening. September 2, 8............ page ripped out. The rest of the log is empty.
  8. There they go again with the "love fest"!
  9. This is one of my favorite 2007 sets. The set is worth the cost. The dock, crane, and truck are really "top notch". I definately give it *y* *y* up!
  10. Part Five: Creature from the Deep There is an old legend told to me by my grandfather, and told to him by his grandfather, of a retched sea creature who lives in the fog-covered waters beyond the jagged cliffs of the Northwestern coast. The legend tells of a beast, not quite fish, nor quite human, but a terrible mutated spawn with the body of something that dwells deep beneath the sea having the arms and legs to walk upright. Some of the fishermen in these parts say that a mysterious fog draws the sea creature from the blackest depths of the ocean. His eyes are murky like salty sea water, his skin resembling fish gills, but more tough like a reptile. His mouth hangs open revealing seaweed between his jagged shark-like teeth as he gurgles up sea water. The fishermen say that the beast climbs aboard large fishing boats and other sea vessels destroying entire crews in terrifying ways. Beware the horrible sound of his "sloshing" which is an omen that he has come for you! Could there be such a creature aboard the Sea Ghost? The crew wonder this themselves as the Mystery Ship continues to drift along the dark water...
  11. A member of the crew has been murdered while in the denseness of the fog. A mysterious stowaway is discovered in one of the cargo containers. A satellite TV transmitter defies the laws of physics and provides the crew no chance in hell to contact the main land. All aboard the Mystery Ship... ------------ End Part 4
  12. A quick count of the cargo containers reveals a total of six: #1: Yellow: opened with bolt cutters: a life-time supply of "Dry Slosher" brand geriatric underwear (AKA Depends), and 10 Lego Technic Bulldozer sets. #2: Green: Stan the Stow-Away (already opened) #3: Red: An extra steel enforced cargo container with anti-bolt-cutting Walmart Pad Lock. Gene quickly tries his master key which will not unlock this heavy-duty container. #4: Red crate covered with water-proof tarp. This is open with just a cover. #5: Grey crate covered with water-proof tarp. "dito" #6: Yellow (with electronic locking mechanism - can not be cut).
  13. What a ham!
  14. Could you imagine what he might do with a sextant? :-D
  15. 6541 Intercoastal Seaport - 1991 6542 Launch & Load Seaport - 1991 Aren't these great sets? They were both part of the Nautica theme.
  16. But this is much more fun to watch:
  17. OK Mr. Stow Away, I would suggest you start talking real quick now. This crew is about ready to make you walk the plank. This is cargo container #2 (in case you missed my previous post).
  18. Well, he's certainly no birthday surprise.
  19. Soupt Sales! Good one :-D . I hate to admit it, but I was actually a Love Boat fan when I was a kid. I loved watching the show, then later watching Fantasy Island (I have a sneaky suspision that Hink was a fan of the show as well). He just knows too much about the actors and the stories! Don't you all think he makes an entertaining captain? Growing up in the 80s was fun!
  20. It was a suggestion to add some detail to the entrance, just like the actual Lego WW mine. Perhaps a sign that reads Danger, or Blasting if "Keep Out" is a bit much. The Keep Out sign is a great existing Lego Western piece though.
  21. Neat construction. Reminds me of something out of Harry Potter.
  22. Nice addition to the airport theme Cyryl, and welcome to EB. Reminds me of the Maroon 5 video.
  23. The knocking within the green container becomes increasingly louder. Suspense builds... Unfortunately, the cargo container is locked, but luckily, Gene Wagonberry states, "I have a master key that should unlock this container". He produces a large brass style skeleton-key and unlocks the salt rusted pad lock. You grab the handle to the door swinging it open to reveal... Revealing, much to your relief... A stow away: And the number on the side of the cargo container reads #2.
  24. A scared and frustrated crew slowly walk toward the cargo containers... Their minds think of a hideous "sloshy" creature waiting in the darkness... Waiting to destroy them as it roughly jabbed a fishing knife it dug up from the sand below the ocean depths into their hearts. Slowly, fearfully they step... Sweat begins to form on their foreheads as they make every step, their hearts beating faster... KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK! they hear outside one of the containers. What mysterious thing waits for them inside the container. What curse haunts the Sea Ghost? What retched beast knocks to draw their attention closer...
  25. Sure, sing 80s songs and play Love Boat in the bathtup on your way to fantasy island in a white tux all cruise long, but discover that I'm a retired detective, and make me do all the work! >:-( Oh, don't bother to lead the investigation Chief of Internal Security, we have a RETIRED DETECTIVE on board. Oh, don't bother to complete the engine repairs Scotty, the RETIRED DETECTIVE can do it. Oh, and don't bother to clean the blood and the fishy body off the poop deck slow, dim-witted "plate-in-the-head" janitor Bennie, let the RETIRED DETECTIVE take care of it. Jeez, Luise! Since I'm the RETIRED DETECTIVE, I say that we need to check out the cargo. If that is OK with you Captain Steubing, and heaven forbid that you offer a RETIRED DETECTIVE a drink of the rot gut you've been sucking down like a Bahama Mama all cruise long! Wouldn't want to drink with a RETIRED DETECTIVE! He's too busy tasked with leading an investigation while all your PAID crew drink with the Captain! >:-( >:-( >:-( Next, you'll probably make the RETIRED DETECTIVE portrait the role of Miss Vickie now that Stinky is dead!
