Part Six: Distress Call While in the Steering Room checking the sabotaged radio earlier in the evening: "Mayday, Mayday, this is the Captain of the Sea Ghost..." a worried captain states in the microphone of the broken radio. "I doubt anyone will pick up this distress call", he states; "this radio is dead... Mayday, this is a distress call..." Silence Much later: All of the crew have found their way to the Captain Macleod's cabin. The Captain has talked Stan into giving Otto back the gun. Luckily for Scotty, the bullet from Otto's luger hit a flask in his pocket. He is rather bruised, but can walk. Peering outside the large window in front of the Captain's bed, lights from a small vessel can be seen. All of the crew turn in hope of a ship that has come to save them.
-
Stan the stow away is on the loose with a gun. Two bullets remain. Luckily, his shot only hit Scotty in the flask, causing just a mere fleshie wound. Can the Captain talk Stan into returning the luger to Otto? A horribly terrifying Creature from the Deep has been seen on the ship. The sight of it has caused fear and panic among the crew. Why has he come and will there be another crew member to meet their unpleasant demise? These questions may be answered in the next exciting chapter of Mystery Ship. -------------- End Part 5

Yes. Thanks for pointing this out. Added.

Good question??? Perhaps there's a language barrier (at least with Manny).

The Wild, Wild West Building Contest: Discussion Thread
WesternOutlaw replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Excellent contest Sir Nad. I unfortunately have all my WW sets boxed up at the moment as I've been working with City Sea Ports and Boats at the moment. I'll still enjoy seeing the entries if I don't get a chance to build something. Great contest though *y*. -
Pirates have been excluded for a reason. This poll was intened to be for modern vessels and sea ports.
-
Perhaps we should continue our search of the ship?
-
Certainly. I'd enjoy reading your thoughts. But this particular thread was more intended to be the Building Challenge. This thread might be a little better: Sneak Peek. Correct. Only participants should post within the chapters. All other threads are fine. You never know. I enjoy twists and surprises!

Oh, that's right. I remember sloshing too! - almost forgot :-$ . For a minute there, I thought Stinky was back.
-
I saw it through the fog covered windows! Its eyes were red like blood and its teeth jagged like the teeth of a shark. His skin was scaly and green it was, green I say :-X . And he had an evil grin, like someone or something that was stalking his prey, waiting to pick us off, one by one. I don't know about the rest of you, but this horrible creature spooks the hell out of me! :'-(
-
You're really getting off topic now. Why don't you take a look at the image review of the set, and perhaps read the comments.
-
I think I just "sloshed" my pants :'-( .
-
As the Captain discusses the current situation with the crew who remained inside the galley, you hear a faint "sloshing" sound coming from outside the galley windows. Through the windows, you look to see the terrifying Creature from the Deep 8-
-
Stan has left the galley with a drumstick and Otto's luger in his hand. "Where are you Bennie"? he calls out into the fog. "Where are you Jack" he yells... :'-( Scotty is still in the Engineering Room cursing at the valves! Pete states, "I'm beginning to wonder about Scotty. We haven't seen him for a bit. I have a funny feeling about this". :'-(
-
Jack runs off into the fog. Does anyone else wish to go look for Bennie?
-
Someone should also be looking for Bennie. Who knows where he's gone. It also looks like the fog is getting dense again...
-
Thanks. This was my old office. I kept the new office down to a minimal in terms of the nautical stuff. I'm thinking of maybe western or trains for a new office theme. Just not sure what I want to do yet.

The freightened crew are within the ship's galley discussing the possibility of an actual Creature from the Deep aboard the ship. Engineer Scotty and Mechanic Jack Tupp are taking turns working on the engine repairs in the Engine Room. Otto is in the kitchen counting frozen fish, and Bennie is no where to be found. "He has been known to wander off" - the Captain states. A number of you are also getting the urge to use the bathroom. There is no bathroom in the galley or the kitchen.
-
Horrible flesh-eating sloshy creature from the deep does a 360 when he sees Scottie and goes for another member of the crew! ;-) - Just kidding...
-
You got it on the money. What you see is only a very small portion of the collection. I really liked the large Lefton lighthouses and had most of the popular lights. Sounds great. I never had a cannon. Now that Pirates hit the movie theater, there's a lot of neat things for room decor. I saw a radio a few weeks ago at Target in the shape of a pirate's chest (CDRadio player). It looked really neat. They also had some tins, lamps, and other neat decor. Just need to break out the old fish net, and the old box(es) of goodies. *y*
-
Slosh... Slosh... Slosh... What is that outside the cabin door? :'-( I don't know about you Otto, but I'm not going to the kitchen without the rest of the crew.
-
I went ahead and added the cast here also. Just in case others need the list.
-
The captain gave me a brief tour when I first came on board. I believe I recall the following: Steering Room/Bridge w/radio Engine Room Mechanical/Utility access room Galley Kitchen Captain's Quarters First Mate's Cabin Two large crew cabins Guest Cabin (Bathrooms are combined with the cabins) Cargo Hold (outer middle of ship) Supply Room There may be more, but these are the areas that I visited.

I love this recent one from Hink as the Captain gives Gene Wagonberry a "swirly". Great toilet!

:-D :-D :-D Now that's what I call SLOSHY!
