  1. Ouch, my kinda lady *wub* .
  2. Any room you'd like, but I don't think that even with my trained eye, the blood will reveal anything.
  3. As the Captain looks at Diver Dan and begins singing: I was a fool to ever leave your side ABOARD THE SEA GHOST is such a lonely ride That breakup we had Has made me lonesome and sad I realize I love you 'Cause I want you back Hey, hey I spent the evening with the BROKEN radio Regret the moment that I let you go Our quarrel was such A way of learning so much I know now that I love you 'Cause I need your touch Hey, hey (Chorus:) Reunited, and it feels so good Reunited, 'cause we understood There's one perfect fit And, STILLMAN, this one is it We both are so excited 'Cause we're reunited Hey, hey..... Pete laughing at the Captain's most recent song :-D states, "Oh yes, the blood. I DON'T THINK THIS WILL PROVIDE A CLUE".
  4. He truly is an ugly dude :-D .
  5. No problem. They're all listed under the Index + other bits of useful information.
  6. Now, now, gentelmen, name calling will not solve this mystery. While the ship tosses about, what say we do some more exploring?
  7. That may be a bit tricky. I'll make it clear though.
  8. Part 8: The Storm The men assemble in the galley as the Sea Ghost begins swaying roughly on the stormy sea. Water splashes against the windows as the sounds of the Minnow scraping against the side of the Sea Ghost can be heard. The Captain states, "this is definately a rough one and I hope that Benny makes it back inside". The Minnow is tied to the ship, but the Skipper and Diver Dan can not help to wonder if it will make it through the storm. :'-(
  9. We'll continue, and if I have to write the actions of those that are not participating, I will. I've been a little ill and have not been able to post for a few days. Will try my best to post every day as I initially started. BTW: I notice a number of you have changed your avatars. You might add it to your Signature to keep everyone clear as to who you are. Catching up with all the posts over the last few days was actually difficult for me without seeing the images of your characters. Others may have the same problem.
  10. An attempt is made to use the ship's cargo crane combined with several hand pulled ropes to lift the Minnow to the deck of the Sea Ghost, but the attempt is unsuccessful. Large metal beams come flying from the crane landing on the deck! Luckily, none of them hit the crew. Benny runs off into the fog yelling, "SNAP, CRACKLY, POP..... SNAP, CRACKLE, POP... WOOOOOPPPPP BOY"! The captain realizes that once again, his vision of lifting the Minnow was the result of too much whiskey and not enough food in his stomach. The storm begins getting rough as the wind spashes the waves over the deck of the Sea Ghost. Will the crew find Bennie? Has he snapped for good? Will the Minnow be lost? These questions may be answered in the next exciting chapter of MYSTERY SHIP! ---------------- End Part 7
  11. Yes, he created the Sesame Street muppets long before the Muppets TV show. We're talking mid-60s.
  12. OK, the name's Sergeant Thursday, but you can call me Sergeant. I'm looking for a "W". Although I never appeared on the Muppets, I was on the beat in the neighborhood of Sesame. It can be a hard lonely street if you're not green, red, or yellow.
  13. Paul, I really like what you did to this set. The trenches look great as well as the 2nd cannon. I just picked the set up today and getting ready to build it. I'd be interested in seeing how one can add walls to the set for closing it up. I need more white bricks. Nice job though. This looks like a great set. My only thought is why Lego did not add four of the 1x2 plates as you did.
  14. Great song. Rock on Mike Rutherford!
  15. You make your way to the crew cabin areas to discover two bunk-type rooms rather small, with not many personal belongings. Each cabin contains two sets of bunks. The only thing of interest is a locker area that has numbers to correspond with each bunk. Stillman's bunk and locker is #8. You immediately cut the lock to locker #8, discovering personal belongings that smell of old fish. Within the locker are the following items: - A large tackle box that contains different kinds of bait - Two heavy duty fishing poles - A set of pajamas that have little fish on them - An extra pair of overalls and boots - Three white t-shirts and shorts - A letter from Dan Stillman dated July 5, 2007. The letter is addressed to Port Heceta, attention Steve Stillman. It reads: Dear Steve: My business has not been doing very well. We've been along the Oregon and Washington coast for most of the year. The weather is often times rainy and foggy, but we have discovered a number of shipwrecks. I've been working with a partner who owns a small fishing boat; but unfortunately, the items that we've brought up have not been valuable in nature - mostly just historic. I wish I could see you. It's been a long time. We're going to be taking a new job. It should pay well. PS. I don't know your new address, so I hope this letter may find you. Are you still fishing? Please let me know what you're up to these days. Take care, Your brother, Dan
  16. Where shall we go next Captain?
  17. The crew make their way back into the galley accompanied by the Skipper and Diver Dan. A distrusting crew begin feeling the waves of a rather rough sea :-X . Pete comments, "looks like we may be in for a bit of a storm, Captain - and I don't like the feel of this." The Captain adds, "based on what I've seen in these waters, the storm is probably a day away if it does hit us. I hope this isn't a bad one though". Otto says that he will cook up something very special for the crew. He begins cursing at the limited supplies as the sounds of pots and pans begin clanking in the kitchen. Pete comments to the captain, "I'm glad I was able to talk you out of entering just any code on the cargo container lock. Unless any of you have a really good guess, pressing the wrong code may result in rendering the container unopenable until we are back in port. Seems I may have seen one of these locks before. Usually they will accept three tries before they become inoperable". "Where would you like to continue our investigation Captain", Pete asks.
  18. Indeed. Diver Dan is correct Captain. The locking mechanism does call for four numbers. Do you have a 4-digit number in mind?
  19. Oh, the Captain is such a jokester! :-D To think that Stillman would have brought a puppy on board; too funny! Flashback: Let us take a closer look at the body of poor Stillman. (examines the cold claminess of Stinky) Holy Mackerel! What is this within his pocket? A folded piece of paper... The number 441 written upon it. Perhaps this may be a clue Captain. Nothing else was found on or near Stillman's body.
  20. Captain, let me give you a few moments to discuss the situation with your crew. When you've had a moment to do so, we can continue our investigation. We might also want to find out exactly where everyone is at the present time. Perhaps a role call so we don't miss anyone.
  21. I don't know if the Skipper and Diver Dan are telling the truth, but in regard to them discovering the damage to their radio, unless they are both very good actors, they seem to be just as surprised as we are in discovering the damage. This leads me to believe that someone else (a member of your crew or even Stan) may be the saboteur. I truly need more information to draw a good conclusion.
  22. Well, I'm not too sure. Dan, could you maybe provide some information in regard to this gold coin? Have you seen it before? Whispers to Captain: They do seem to be sincere about discovering the damage to their radio. "Oh, and BTW" - looking at Gene, "Have you changed your clothes? You look a bit different to me".
  23. Pete tells the Captain, "It does not appear that we can open container #3 with the heavy duty padlock and steel enforced walls. #6 appears to have an electronic locking device. Looks like some sort of four digit code. One has to careful attempting to unlock these types of locking mechanisms. Entering the incorrect code can render the mechanism useless".
  24. Tucked away under the tarp of crate #4, you discover a small brown folder that says, "Cargo Manifest". Pete Falklin picks it up and begins reading the contents: Cargo Manifest #1: 1,000 "Dry Slosher" brand geriatric underwear (AKA Depends), and 10 Lego Technic Bulldozer sets. #2: 100 cases bottled Budweiser beer, 50 cases bottled Budweiser Light Beer, 50 4-packs Budweiser Light Beer/Aluminum cans #3: 20 barrels Exxon Mobil Petroleum #4: 1 single engine water craft #5: 10 Metroliner train assembly wheel systems #6: Secure Contents - Research & Development It has been signed by Captain Maxwell Macleod. Also, something appears to be shining on the ground near container #6. The Captain picks it up to discover a small gold coin. Upon closer inspection, the coin looks like an authentic Gold Doubloon *wub*. "Strange to find something like this near the cargo", Pete states, "perhaps someone dropped it".
  25. Excellent action photos. Very nice!
