I thought about suggesting that one, it's where my mind first went when reading his post. It may be more reliable and simpler with built-in gear ratios, but it probably would add a decent amount of friction/resistance from the ratchet, which may or may not be a problem.

The first 2 sections of this video show a good example of it, especially the one I time-marked. A version of this with some gearing between the outputs should work.

Very impressive build! I had played around with some ideas for that special height-adjustable suspension setup on the SSC Tuatara without much success, so seeing your implementation is awesome! Great work, now I am gonna have to go back and watch all your videos from the building process!

This is amazingly compact! Really great work. Gonna have to try and build it myself to see it in action and fully figure out how it works.

My thought exactly. Been brainstorming since the pics dropped. Guessing the dump truck could hold 2 GBC balls (maybe squeeze a third in?). And since the shovel part is quarter pieces, it just opens up the possibilities.

I've been regularly checking this forum since I was like 12 (I may have ignored age rules back then.... ), and it has been a huge part of getting me addicted to all this. This is absolutely stunning. Great work getting 6 wheel drive and that beautiful grabber and everything else stuffed in there. I am in awe. It is builds like this that continue to drag me back to Technic after any sort of dark age. Keep up the great work!

You should check out http://tkelcreations.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_24.html. It shows the perfect (or close to perfect) lego right triangles in terms of length of beams which makes it nice to work with for lego since there is no adding/subtracting 1. And it's not just the ones with all whole numbers, some are for lengths that go down to a half stud.

I have always loved wheel loaders. Amazing work getting it to look so good and compact while still fitting those functions in. I will say the bucket tilting had me worried for a second seeing it be a bit shaky (possible due to that u-joint), but it seems quite strong working with those rocks. Great job!

Wow. Very impressive! The idea to build around the boat hull is really cool! Especially since it allows it to look technic all the way around. I expect to see this idea recreated by others. Nice work!

Wow! This TC really brought the best out of everyone! Such amazing builds! Congrats to all the winners! I really wish I could have competed, but stupid college took up too much time. I guess I'll have to take my LEGO with me to college now. Nice job everyone!
