  1. Linky Dr. S.
  2. Thanks! Yep, there's a SERIOUS illegal move on those drumsticks - I had to crimp them with pliers to get the drummer to grip them. Eek! And yes, my various armies are starting to hurt me in the wallet. Dr. S.
  3. Here's the result of my latest fiddling...a German Army mounted band - part of the victory parade in Paris, 1940. Here are some unaltered pictures of the men: Dr. S.
  4. Thanks, I know this one is just stupid, I wasn't sure if it would go down well or not. Incidentally, I shot this one outside, at night, in the FREEZING cold, with a spotlight, it gave me some nice shadows as you can see. Dr. S.
  5. Yes, it's just silly, but I like it. Linky Dr. S.
  6. Really? It's straight out of the box...so to speak. I was going to fiddle with it as I think it looks awful! Dr. S.
  7. Well, I've just left the Hospital, having had major surgery on my legs but it's OK BatBrick, I won't be suing you for dropping that stuff on me...yet. :-) Nice mech' BTW - now that the pain has subsided, I can truly appreciate it instead of focusing on the agony it caused. Dr. S.
  8. Thanks - nice sign! :-) Dr. S.
  9. Well yes we could, and I'd be happy to do so, but I would hate to upset the management here if it takes traffic away. But yes, there are people who are upset with the EN and army stuff and that's understandable in a way, and to anyone reading this who feels that way, I'm sorry for opening the whole can of worms. Dr. S.
  10. OK, I checked with the staff here before posting this, so it's cool. For anyone who may be interested, I've set up a small freebie forum thingy purely so people can talk about Tabletown/Grunts etc. It's in no way intended to detract from Eurobricks and is really just a fun little aside for me, just to complement my own website which is getting quite a respectable number of hits nowadays. I fully expect it to crash and burn like the last freebie one I established a few years back for another of my sites, but if you want to swing by and hang out, I promise there will be cakes and stuff. Well, OK, so I lied about the cakes and stuff, but this is absolutely the last time I will lie to you. OK, so that was a complete lie but... Anyway, if you want to come on in, the link is here and in my sig'. Just to emphasise, I'm not competing with EB - which is HUGE and well-respected and a place I'm pleased to be allowed to participate in, it's just an additional option to go along with the Tabletown site. So I might see you there. Or I might not. No pressure. :-) Dr. S.
  11. The only one available in any kind of different size is the "Comply" one. The others are all set in stone now I'm afraid, I didn't worry about saving them in any other way to change the resolution or anything, sorry. Dr. S.
  12. Interesting that people like the Air Power one - I thought it was the weakest of the bunch. Thanks! Dr. S.
  13. Lovely! Great special effects, and the background is very well done. Excellent! Dr. S.
  14. Here are the last ones: That last one is a LEGO-ised version of a poster over at my other website - Sinister Incorporated. You can see it here. Dr. S.
  15. Yes! See: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...c=11530&hl=pimp Dr. S.
  16. Not grumpy - serious about the mission ahead of them. :-) Each poster here is loosely based on one from WWII. Dr. S.
  17. PLMKWYT. Click on the thumbnails for larger versions. Dr. S.
  18. They flake? Wow. Never had one flake on me yet. Dr. S.
  19. Spinny centre section - yes! *y* These are very nice Daleks - as you say, a little too tall but it's hard to get them smaller with the pieces available. And yes, once those angled plates are added they'll be even better. Are you on Flickr? There's a LEGO Dalek group there - you could post one or two of the pictures to the group. Dr. S.
  20. You are probably right about the forum - I forget it's there as I spend most of my time in here. Sorry. Feel free to shift it. Re' the minifigs - they are from Brickarms. I believe the helmets are from Brickforge - not sure as they came with the figs. Dr. S.
  21. Understood - it happens. Oh, and I forgot to say - nice photo by the way. Dr. S.
  22. Whoah...now those pieces beat anything I've seen hands down! Dr. S.
  23. No, it's also called a beer belly here, but I don't drink (at all, don't really see the point), so I renamed it. :-D Oh, and I'm in the UK. Dr. S.
  24. Yeah, I agree - I think that comment was a little too cynical - it's been made clear time and again that these figures will never be available again. I think it would be cool if Will did a special limited edition minifig once a year - just imagine how much a complete set would be worth in twenty years' time! (No, I don't own a Medic, I was too scared to pipe up) Dr. S.
  25. I'm bored...sorry. Click for larger versions: EDIT: Going down like a lead balloon I see. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Well, here are some more anyway. German troops advance into battle alongside a truck: Unloading supplies: Still from movie footage of a street battle. German Stormtroopers crouch behind a Kubelwagon as the driver fires the mounted machine gun at enemy positions. Racing into battle: An SS Sturmbannfuhrer (Major) idles away his time... Saluting the Oberst (Colonel) on his horse. Messengers with vital information from the front for HQ: A truck with Panzerfausts heads to the front to deliver vital supplies and ammunition: Dr. S.
