  1. In the back - the driver refused to get out. Dr. S.
  2. Erm, let me see... 2 from the 1st SW wave of releases. 1 from the Ewok set. 1 from the original ATAT. 1 from the AT-TE. 1 from the Clone Turbo Tank. 1 owned by Dooku. 4 from Clone trooper battle packs. 1 from Tusken Raider Encounter. 2 Darth Maul speeders. Erm...I think that's it? 14 in total. Oh, if we're including STAPs, then another, erm, 6 or so. Crikey, I keep editing this as I read more of the thread - I also own the various Skywalker speeders. Dr. S.
  3. It's not the walking one, it's the original non-walking model. Dr. S.
  4. Snow! For the first time in YEARS! Proper snow! OK, so it's all melted now, and I'm glad, but it did allow me to do something I've wanted to do for years... Dr. S.
  5. FINALLY! After waiting more than TWO MONTHS for a Bricklink order via Italy, I have received the parts to make this monster! Due to an utter utter cock-up by the supplier, the parts which were supposed to be here by my holiday (a month ago) are finally here now. So here we are. Sinister Industries is proud to unveil the latest in its series of vehicles designed to serve with the Tabletown Army. The Vindicator Class Super-Heavy Self-Propelled Artillery unit is a twin-barrelled assault platform mounting two superconducting mass drivers allowing for long-range over the horizon indirect fire. Some choice pictures below, but go here for the full info-dump (three pages, 30 images). Dr. S.
  6. Interesting, I had no idea there were so many figures available. Your collection is most impressive. Not my cup of tea, but I can see why younger children would like them - looks like most of the figures badly need the toilet though. :) Is there a big collector's market for these? Dr. S.
  7. I will check with RalphS as I know him... Dr. S.
  8. OK, here are the Tanks! Sorry for the rushed pictures, don't have time to mount my full setup tonight. Prior to acceptance into the Tabletown Army, we have made a few minor modifications to ensure compliance with TA standards and similarity with other Army vehicles serving in the forces. These modifications include some small reinforcement of the ground plates, the addition of lights and vent grilles near the front glacis. As a result of these changes, the type has been designated as the T700TT1A (T700 Tabletown 1 Alpha) variant. Here we see two new recruits eager to try out their vehicles (note that they have not been yet formally accepted into the Tank Corps as they maintain their green sleeves, whereas fully qualified operators and drivers have a yellow right sleeve): A side view which shows the addition of the lights: Elevated gun, note the new front/top grilles: Ready to roll! Dr. S.
  9. I love this! I have a big grin on my face from the pictures. It reminds me of the TV series Firefly in a way - in that series you have essentially have characters from a Western doing Western stuff but with spaceships and advanced tech'. This is like that, it's the future, but they dress classically. It's brilliant! Dr. S.
  10. I am a BrickLink addict. My favourite BL seller lives about half a mile from my house. And they are so cool and friendly - they DELIVER! The brilliant thing is that I can think up a design in the morning, place the order and have the parts delivered that evening - and view my completed construction that night. How cool is that? I just had an order delivered 5 minutes ago. It allows me so much flexibility in building, if I miss something out, I can whack another order in and complete it the next day. Dr. S.
  11. Why not? I hope you don't have some kind of weird hidden anti-undead agenda... >:-) Dr. S.
  12. Thanks. Some more on that on my Blog...it's built for a specific purpose, I decided to also use it as a set... Dr. S.
  13. Attention PaulC - the arms shipment has arrived! Alas, I neglected to download the original instructions (prior to the modification) but I'm sure it'll be fine... Dr. S.
  14. Today's strip was "inspired" by this appalling news story. Linky. Dr. S.
  15. Dammit Paul, you keep making me want to spend my money on your designs! I love the cars, the caravan and your Dalek is ace - better than mine anyway. I feel so inadequate now.... *sweet* Dr. S.
  16. Because it is episode 30, I have decided to finally indulge myself and so this strip features a certain guest star… Linky. Dr. S.
  17. Peace through strength perhaps! ;-) Thanks. Dr. S.
  18. Great review! Thanks a lot! I'm amazed this set is out so soon... Dr. S.
  19. Call me a warmongering whatsit but I was kind of annoyed about today's news story which announced that a Teacher's Union here in the UK was on the verge of voting to ban Army Recruiters from schools. Hence...Grunts, Episode 29. Linky. Dr. S.
  20. IMO there is no place for such discussions here. It can only end badly. Personally, I am an atheist, but I respect other people's views, opinions and beliefs, and it's unlikely I'd be able to alter anyone's views, and vice versa, I accept that. However from experience (NOT here I hasten to add) there are those who cannot accept that other people have their own views and that's when things go wrong... This is a LEGO site, let's all discuss the one belief we share - belief in the brick. Dr. S.
  21. No, the RailHorse. Dr. S.
  22. Linky. Dr. S.
  23. Don't worry, it has a metal skeleton - being dead and stuffed with gears and all... Dr. S.
  24. From the corporation that brought you the SteamHorse, we now introduce the Pegasus MkI AirHorse. If you wish for a bracing challenge, and to free yourself from the limitations of the ground, the AirHorse is for you. Full details and pix HERE! Dr. S.
