  1. Here are the Blue Grunts, in case you are interested. They belong to a mercenary force which calls itself "The Renegade Militia" - and they will do anything for anyone, as long as the price is right. BestLockLand forces have contracted elements of the Renegade Militia to fight their war for them, however they tend to be unreliable as (most of the time) all you have to do is wave some cash in front of them and they'll go away. :-D Dr. S.
  2. To clarify - they are definitely a rival faction - i.e. "the enemy". Mercenaries for hire perhaps by BestLockLand? Mainly, I got major grief (NOT from in here, I hasten to add) about my "Incursion" diorama for using non-LEGO people as the enemy, even though that was the entire point of the exercise, so I needed to find a way around this problem... This way I get to have my cake and eat it. Dr. S.
  3. Aha, that's to be revealed! Dr. S.
  4. More - definitely. I only have 5 of them though, I won't be army-building like I did/am doing with the Green Grunts. Dr. S.
  5. Linky Dr. S.
  6. Erm, undoubtedly the LEGO furniture I ordered just before Christmas - 90% off. Dr. S.
  7. 1963 actually. (lifetime Who fan here with several dozen Daleks littered around the house) Dr. S.
  8. At the risk of being lynched by Grevious - this is one of the best threads...ever. Dr. S.
  9. It would have been very hard to do - as I'd have had to light the foreground and the town itself to be able to see anything - not to mention get a decent angle for the shot and try to fit it all into a 300x300 square - you wouldn't have been able to see much at all at that size. Also, my intention with this one was to basically have 4 shots basically the same - like most comic strips. Dr. S.

  11. Whoah - your Emperor is awesome! My LEGO Daleks might have to build one... Dr. S.
  12. Best to leave them in the box. :-D I withdraw that comment...I can't stand to see unopened LEGO! Dr. S.
  13. Really? This one has had..."mixed" reviews. :-D Dr. S.
  14. Assuming my ISP behaves... OK, so yeah, I stood outside in the freezing cold with my camera equipment to shoot this one... Linky Dr. S.
  15. No, I haven't, I'm not even close to the limit - my ISP's servers all went down and it keeps happening - hence my comment in the opening post. I sent them a highly sarcastic e-mail last night and demanded a refund for every hour that all my websites (I have five) are unavailable. It is now back up again. Dr. S.
  16. No, drivers have yellow rank sleeves on one side. :-) Dr. S.
  17. My damned ISP fell over last night so I was unable to post this. Linky. Dr. S.

  19. Nope, no air force yet. Or Navy come to that. However...you'll note that I've included many details in the history such as pirates and what have you which will basically allow me to turn any future creation - historial, military, fantasy, whatever - into something that ties into the history of Tabletown. Dr. S.
  20. Wow, thanks for the pix Hinckley - although I'm not sure Tabletown has any room for more ships and things...I'm sure I'll end up buying these anyway, I just can't help myself...it's like a disease with me. Although I tell my Wife it's better than drinking and I don't go out - I'm not sure if she'd prefer me to get the hell out of the house every now and then. :-D Dr. S.
  21. I've gone a bit overboard in my historical background and map for Tabletown. New maps here: The region known in modern times as the Silver Sea can be found between three large landmasses in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on planet Earth. Although many people believe this part of the Earth to be devoid of major landmasses, this is only because no-one can really be bothered to take a proper look. The three major landmasses are the continents of Blocktavia, Studantia and Clickvaria. Set in the midst of these three landmasses is a mineral rich and strategically important island - the Emerald Isle. http://www.shush-its-secret.demon.co.uk/Tabletown/map.html The complete and utter history of Tabletown - including all its wars - here: Learn all about the first war with BestLockLand! http://www.shush-its-secret.demon.co.uk/Ta...wn/history.html Dr. S.
  22. It is nice, don't get me wrong, but he does use Clone pieces in some of his constructions. According to his notes on Flickr - the wheels are a Clone brand. Dr. S.

  24. That's absolutely brilliant - and spot-on. Dr. S.
  25. Cool - that'll do it! Dr. S.
