  1. Oh yeah, that front in particular looks infinitely better using those quarter bows instead... Your Century does look quite promising, but I'd say go for the Mercury since many haven't attempted it (if any at all).
  2. Shared this over on the Historical/Castle subforum's topic for such, and it's just as pertaint here too...
  3. Okay, here's a wild one from this morning... LEGO Ideas - Chromed Classics by MinifigInSpace
  4. I love how your rendition of Jay Garrick turned out! That incarnation's design has always been a favorite of mine...
  5. Just a few ideas here for some unprinted dual-molded legs (standard height) that I'd like to see... Black with Dark Green (i.e. "Classic" Green) boots (for Green Lantern Corps, of course). Light Bluish Grey with Black boots (hip piece in LGB, not Black). Olive Green with either Reddish Brown or Dark Brown boots. Light Bluish Grey or Dark Bluish Grey with Earth Blue boots. Tan (i.e. Brick Yellow) with either Reddish Brown or Dark Brown boots. Ah, I see...
  6. Well, I'll take a microscaled display build of The Ulysses vs. The Leviathan from Atlantis: The Lost Empire please...
  7. Here are a few more recolors that've come to my mind... TLM2 Vest Friend Rex's Fedora/Hair piece (part no. 45775) in both Reddish Brown/Black and Olive Green/Dark Orange. General Mayhem's helmet (part no. 34704) in Silver Metallic with Black Visor and Pearl Gold "ears" and crest. Minifigure Scarf (part no. 25376) in White, Dark Red, and Olive Green. Series 4 Artist's Beret (part no. 90386) in either Reddish Brown or Dark Brown. TLBM Mr. Freeze's armor piece (part no. 30816) in Black, Light Bluish Grey, and Sand Green. TLBM Penguin's Tophat (part no. 27149) in either Reddish Brown or Dark Brown. Just outta curiosity, what are those supposed to be inspired after? A double-breasted overwear design would also be fitting for early aviator suits like these...
  8. Though pictures and fan press haven't been invited there for awhile now, London's Toy Fair will be taking place next Tuesday on the 21st, so maybe we'll at least hear of some kinda hint or clue as to what this theme is. If nothing at all, then I'm pretty certain Nuremberg's Toy Fair the following week will provide us with our first look.
  9. Got another one here from this morning for ya... LEGO Ideas - Forgotten Fantasy Castle by DutchLegoMan
  10. If there was one particular type of torso design I'd hope to see made available as a Build-A-Minifigure exclusive, it'd be a Rocketeer-inspired, bibbed, double-breasted leather jacket. Be it in Black, Reddish Brown, Dark Brown, Earth Blue, or Dark Red, it does seem to be the quintessential outerwear style for your archetypical Pulp Era hero...
  11. Here are just a few recolors I'd like to see... Traditional Aviator Cap (part no. 30171) in Dark Brown and complementary goggles (part no. 30170) in Titanium Metallic. Trapper Hat (part no. 36933) in either Dark Brown or Reddish Brown. Series 17 Retro Spaceman's helmet (part no. 33710) in Silver Metallic with Pearl Gold "ears" and crest. Series 17 Retro Spaceman's raygun (part no. 29601) in Silver Metallic, Titanium Metallic, and Copper Metallic. Superman's classic hairpiece (part no. 98726) in Reddish Brown and Dark Bluish Grey. Series 9 Hollywood Starlet's hairpiece (part no. 11256/34283) in Black, Dark Brown, Dark Orange, and Medium Nougat. Tina Goldstein's Hat/Hair piece (part no. 28271) in Olive Green/Medium Nougat and Lavender/Cool Yellow. TLM2 Apocalypseburg Abe's Hat/Beard piece (part no. 50044) in Reddish Brown/Earth Orange with Green-tinted goggles.

  13. Though they're much simpler than other noteworthy submissions shared here recently, these two from today still count... Windmill Defense by Banana_Guy03 Coyote Canyon by BrickJohnny
  14. Up until recently, LEGO Brand Stores' Build-A-Minifigure stations have only offered preexisting minifigure parts and prints from previously-released sets. In the past year though, they've become a great source for all-new recolors and prints, seemingly exclusive to LEGO Brand Stores. With newly-issued exclusive parts being discovered nearly on a monthly basis now, I thought I'd be fun to share our ideas and wishlists for such. So, what exclusive recolors and prints would you hope to see from LEGO's Build-A-Minifigure stations?
  15. Here's another lovely submission from today worth bringing up here... LEGO Ideas - The Castle in the Forest by povoq
  16. So, by constraction-based, are you referring to creations only built from systems particular to such (i.e. Ultrabuild); or, are all submitted creations that can be classified as mecha and/or action figures worthy of mention here?
  17. Thought I'd just share this here for those interested...
  18. If you're referring to DC Series 2 then no. That's a teaser for @Ashnflash's second DC series coming tomorrow For those interested, here it is...
  19. Beautifully compact and so crisply constructed! So very glad to see you back in the swing of things with a new Batmobile build! My favorite touch on this one has to be those Bright Red katana blades used for the fins! Oooooh, I'd love to see your take on the Noel Batmobile!!! I do really like the White Knight Batmobile and it has been on my mind for some time so you have definitely given me incentive to finally tackle that one. Heh, alright, I've never seen that one up until now; and yeah, that would be pretty sweet to see...
  20. They are a reliable source being a RLFM and all, but it's hard to say whether the piece is just speculation or something more. It just seem too early to be receiving rumors of anything releasing in 2022, and I have to wonder if Google might not be translating the article correctly.
  21. Apparently 2020 has just given us two new transparent colors of an "opalescent" quality... New Elementary - NEW LEGO® COLOUR 362 TRANSPARENT BLUE OPAL New Elementary - NEW LEGO® COLOUR 364 TRANSPARENT MEDIUM REDDISH VIOLET WITH OPALESCENCE
  22. Hmmm, not sure if there are actually rumors of such out there or if this is just mere speculation on @Zusammengebaut's part... Zusammengebaut - Super Mario Bros. Animated Film: LEGO sets planned for 2022
  23. By the way @Lego David, would you consider broadening this index to include mecha and constraction-based projects outside of Bionicle? This morning I saw this one new submission that I thought would be worth sharing here... LEGO Ideas - Sidereal Giant by Messerneovideo
  24. Here's another from this morning to add to the index... LEGO Ideas - Harbrick Castle by kylav
