  1. The SW 2020 annual has leaked (which will be a 2019 release) and it comes with Biggs Darklighter with a hairpiece not a helmet. Not a very interesting figure at all in my opinion (unless you want to make a Freddie Mecury fig!). What is interesting I think, is that the illustration on the front cover shows Biggs holding his helmet (the new style), but Luke wearing his helmet and it is the old style; you can tell because of the overall shape and the little knobs on the sides. Luke has his visor down in the picture, so it's not because using the new helmet would have stopped us from seeing his face or anything. A hint they are returning to the old helmet? They had to use Bigg's new helmet if they didn't want to mix his new figure with the really old helmet, but for Luke they've gone for the old. Or do you think they know most kids will have got the Luke from the X-Wing Trench Run set and so they've just used that version of him for that reason? ?
  2. The DK Star Wars Build Your Own Adventure book has leaked; the build is an open topped cloud car with a Bespin Guard piloting. Kind of strange, but considering the CC pilot is going to be in the advent calendar I don't think many will mind.
  3. Sounds like they're trying to clear out the old as expected. But thanks for the heads up :)
  4. Thank you. Those images make me like the outside more than the official box art which looks blurry and kind of 'waxy' to me if that makes sense. I know they're trying to simulate speed, but it looks off to me. The side hinge is interesting; I owned the first Knight Bus and remember you had to separate each level which was okay but not great for getting your hands into. This way makes it feel a bit too open though with the tiny second level so I suppose it's a trade off. And the swinging chandelier is accurate, but hardly 'fun' so I think they're scrapping the barrel a bit trying to 'push' that feature. The shaping of the exterior looks better than the old ones to me, but I think I prefer the more 'cosy' interior of the old. I shall probably just get the figures and skip the build itself as I think this is more worthy for children to play and mod which is what I liked to try and do with my old knight bus.
  5. I would just love to see some more episode 2 clones. We've had the generic phase 1 clone in the recent jedi battlepack, but the last clone captain, commander, lieutenant etc were a few years ago now and getting them on the secondary market is ridiculously difficult and expensive. With the Clone Wars coming back later this year though I doubt phase 1 clones will see anymore love until at least 2021.
  6. Thank you for the many large photos. Good to see :) II shall not be buying the ship itself, but I am interested in the minifigures. But I still cannot understand why Lego cut off the bottom of the lower jacket pockets on Antilles' torso; it makes him look unnecessarily unfinished in my eyes.
  7. It looks like it is the same to me in both hair colour and style and the face, but it is grainy so hard to tell. :)
  8. It's the same one as in the 4+ Tie Fighter. It is not the same Luke; this one is wearing the dark outfit he wears on the island.
  9. It was on Instagram very briefly.
  10. I love how Lego just loves to throw in a coffee cup most of the time, but there's no sign of that blue milk with old Luke. ?
  11. It's not looking likely, but for those of us in the UK we will also get a free poster and if we make it into the store a Naboo Starfighter polybag. ?
  12. ? Yes I'm not very impressed by the build. I suppose the generator does have four rings at least. ?
  13. The May 4th promo Hoth diorama set has been revealed. Very disappointing in my opinion - no figure like the HP and Marvel micro promo sets and a micro scale scene that many MOC builders have done before. :(
  14. They couldn't have used the new helmet for Bucket though because he doesn't have the visor down. Not that I'm saying they haven't reverted to the old helmet, just that it makes sense for Bucket.
  15. Yeah I know, but I'm just looking at Diagon Alley and Avengers Tower and seeing that they both got a minifigure, so I'm hoping that this one will too. It kind of feels like these microbuilds with (hopefully) a minifigure is Lego's 'thing' at the moment. Of course, I also know that Lego can do a complete 180 at times and that the only thing you can predict with Lego is that they are not predictable. ?
  16. Stonewars.de is reporting that set 40333 will be a small 195 piece Hoth diorama Gift with Purchase set like the HP Diagon Alley or Marvel Avengers Tower and they presume it will be the May 4th set. What do you all think? If it comes with an exclusive minifigure like DA and AT then I for one will be pleased that they have moved away from the droid build polybags. It will be like a step up from the old figure May 4th polybags. If it's just a build though I will be pretty disappointed.
  17. Well it fits both of those descriptions to me. And its piece count and prize are in line with previous UCS models, not to mention that until yesterday people, knowing the piece count and price, were referring to it as the 'UCS' Tantive IV. But I honestly think that is why it is not labelled, because people never agree on what qualifies as UCS/MBS. As for the fact that Lego only introduced the MBS title last year so why would they now do away with labels (which they still may not have, just my theory)? Rebel pilot helmets anyone ... ? ?
  18. They had the dining table in CC though and they didn't include legs for Leia, although I know it is slightly different as those would have had to have been printed too. Well that's the big question. As far as we know, yes it is filling one of those slots as nothing has suggested otherwise. But really we don't know ... Lego may surprise us, but I highly doubt it. Size, price, minifigure selection ... for all intents and purposes the new Tantive IV is a UCS/MBS set just without those labels.
  19. Yes that is true; for starters, they're selling her and Antilles as coming from the 'UCS' Tantive. ? But honestly I just can't see where else that piece would come from. Plus it looks like her pic on the top of the box slopes to me.
  20. Definitely think she has the skirt piece. You can't tell if she's sitting, but I'd say not. And also, she is already being sold on ebay by the usual culprit with her skirt piece.
  21. ? Maybe Lego just got fed up of the UCS/MBS argument so decided to just let people call it whatever they want. Matters not I think.
  22. They are (I believe) jokingly commenting on and calling attention to the high prices of the wave, by joking that they must all be battle packs (normally the cheapest sets). :)
  23. That would be really cute. I've just ordered another Mirror of Erised sticker sheet actually because I love the minifigure style drawings. :)
  24. There is now. :) Nothing interesting though. :(
  25. The pure emotion that this inanimate object evokes is just crazy; I can totally feel their isolation. It's like Wall-E in spaceman form. I think the slight tilt down of the head does a lot in persuading your brain that there are eyes looking out from under that dark visor. Great job ?.
