  1. This is just ... wow. The front steps, the little laddered library. Just amazing!
  2. This year it seems you have to wait for the first couple of days of the month before, so hopefully by around April 2nd. Yes really hoping to see if we'll get a May 4th minifigure or another build.
  3. They did flexible plastic wings for Elandra the dragon for Elves in 2016 and that came with a moulded head as well. I owned that dragon for a while and I think it looked great. The flexible plastic was hard wearing and well secured and I think it personally looked better than the moulded wing pieces used on the smaller Elves dragons.
  4. Sirius isn't too bad; the hair is okay as it is parted correctly, but looks too pulled back from the face, whereas Moody's hairpiece would have given him more of the straight down wave he has in the films.
  5. 75227 Darth Vader Bust - 327 pieces - Comic Con and Target Red card exclusive - release date ?
  6. Without a hairpiece, I think it looks more like a mandrake wearing a balaclava than a shrunken head, but it's okay.
  7. I second the Sainsburys. My local got another load in well after the first lot. They seem to have gone quick, but worth checking.
  8. Yes, especially for Ron. It's the same with the new Padme in the Star Wars Podracer; her top just cuts off at the waist when it should come way down her legs. It looks silly to me :( Hope they master the art of printing on medium legs soon.
  9. I'm afraid so. You've been credited for the photo, but you have apparently snapped the UCS Tantive's figure lineup.
  10. Yeah I doubt they have the full sets, they may not even have all the pieces to every fig at times.
  11. If you are not a Harry Potter fan it's probably fairly easy to do. I must say, Dumbledore has an interesting look going on under his beard, but Fleur is just wearing some sort of dress so that's easily done.
  12. Well her dress is plain, but they could have done vertical lines like with the new A New Hope Leia figure's skirt piece. Trouble is, you then have to hope the prints match up from torso to skirt.
  13. This is the 'rushing around time travelling wind swept Hermione' lol. I think it's more the fact that for Prisoner of Azkaban we now have three different versions of Hermionie (one from the train, CMF, and this new one) and they all have different hair. In the train she also has short legs and she should really have had the CMF version hair as she kept her fringe to the sides. She's just a bit all over the place, but I do like this new version. The Solo hair would have worked well for Ron, but then again for the Yule Ball at times so would Qi'ra's lol. Fleur's torso has just been leaked (again) but covered up by Dumbledore's beard. ?
  14. The inconsistencies in terms of leg height, hair etc are quite annoying considering how these waves are supposedly planned far in advance. As for Fleur, that definitely looks like Yule Ball Dumbledore's outfit with Fleur's head to me ?.
  15. Maxime rests her head head on top of Hagrid's when they are dancing so his mould would not work. Interested to see how she turns out ...
  16. New Harry and Ron are up. Harry in his blue POA hoodie and Ron the red jumper. Very simple, but effective. :)
  17. I did use my discretion - it had nothing to do with the fact that it had been tagged #legoleaks - 95% of stuff tagged legoleaks is nothing of the sort. It was to do with the fact that the description very much suggested it cold be official along with the fact that it looks like it could be an official build. The poster has since had to clarify that it is an MOC largely because others were unsure too and the reaction to the build was positive.
  18. Yes that is true and something that really annoys me, but that is an argument for another thread. However, as both #legomoc and #legoleaks has been attached to the post it means that the hashtags cannot be relied upon to decide if this is a MOC or not. The description seemed to suggest it was official, but it would help if they actually clarified that. They have uploaded another load of photos and now only have #legoleaks attached not #legomoc so who knows. ? EDIT: Poster finally clarified that it is an MOC.
  19. Yes, but it also has the hashtag legoleaks.
  20. Someone on Instagram has uploaded a couple of photos and a short clip of a Destroyer Droid. They don't quite make it clear, but I think they're saying it's an official new design. Of course if so, it could be from an upcoming poly or magazine gift, but it might hint at a unknown retailer exclusive.
  21. Do you mean the modified 3x4 plate with centre studs? Or CMF stand for easy reference. :) That's from: Lego 75890 Ferrari F40 Competizione. Design number 17836
  22. I've always kind of thought/hoped Hargid's hut would come with pumpkins. In fact, I bought one of the minifigure hat pumpkins to display with my Hagrid minifigure already because Hagrid's pumpkins are just so iconic. :)
  23. It's dodgy ground (excuse the pun ?)
  24. Yeah, I think the fact that he never quite manages it is his one saving grace lol. ?
  25. I think the fact that it is not completely obvious which version of Harry is being represented (I have not personally looked into so please don't take this as a denial of either view) maybe suggests that Lego has not done a completely faithful movie outfit, but a mash up so kids can recreate the entire sequence from tent to task. Currently the photo is not really adequate to form a definite opinion for me. And whilst as a 'purist' minifigure collector the idea of customising isn't for me, at least with Lego you do have the ability to slightly customise if you wish and switch arm colour etc. As a kid though I would have been thrilled with these figures. Heck as an adult I'm thrilled with these figs, Fleur's bushy eyebrows and big mouth and all. ?
