It's dodgy ground (excuse the pun ?)

Yeah, I think the fact that he never quite manages it is his one saving grace lol. ?

I think the fact that it is not completely obvious which version of Harry is being represented (I have not personally looked into so please don't take this as a denial of either view) maybe suggests that Lego has not done a completely faithful movie outfit, but a mash up so kids can recreate the entire sequence from tent to task. Currently the photo is not really adequate to form a definite opinion for me. And whilst as a 'purist' minifigure collector the idea of customising isn't for me, at least with Lego you do have the ability to slightly customise if you wish and switch arm colour etc. As a kid though I would have been thrilled with these figures. Heck as an adult I'm thrilled with these figs, Fleur's bushy eyebrows and big mouth and all. ?

As someone who grew up with the very first Harry Potter sets only to then have a dark age and miss all the subsequent Harry Potter waves where they covered so many more characters, I am just thrilled to be able to get characters I have never had before and the prospect of some more great figs in the future. Sure if I start to look closely then I could be negative about certain parts of certain figures (no leg printing for the Quidditch figs for example), but usually there seems a good reason for Lego's choice e.g. giving leg printing to the Quidditch characters with normal legs would have made them different from the child Quidditch figs with the shorter legs, so short of dual moulding all the legs, no printing was the best way to keep things uniform. That's not to say Lego should be lazy, but let's remember they have given us some great figures already in the first wave and we have yet to see the rest of what is to come this year. :)

Yes as far as we know there is no new Vader in the set, or even a Vader in the set at all (although it would be a big surprise if he isn't included). Someone just posted a picture of the Rebels Vader and said something like 'could we get this Vader in the set?'. -
:) Pablo-Jill would look very cool. Nicanus Tassu and Sephjet Josall would also be great - I'm mean to give the guys some credit, without them Anakin and Obi Wan would not have had lightsabers! All of the characters are probably too obscure to be considered though :(

True, although I would love to see a Padme in her Arena dress before she lost half of it, a mixed up C3PO/Battle Droid, a Shaak Ti without Clone Wars eyes and a Kit Fisto with a more accurate headpiece. Going on Lego's current trend with larger creatures meanwhile, I would doubt they would get moulds and instead be brick built like the Dewback, HP Basilisk, HP Horntail etc.

Would love a Petranaki Arena and all the potential minifigs that could come with it. :)

The long limbed, scrawny boned werewolf that Lupin changes into in the movies is actually pretty scary, especially when you are a kid so I can't see Lego replicating that in a mould. And whilst I could understand Lego using the standard wolf head for transformed werewolf Lupin, I would not be at all surprised if they did in fact use this leaked wolf mould in a dark grey for Lupin. As @Acurasaid, the basic definition for a werewolf is someone who transforms into a wolf and also I'm sure it is commented in the books that Sirius and James needed their animagus' size to keep Lupin under control. Therefore, in terms of size, a minifigure with a wolf head really doesn't work for transformed Lupin. With this wolf mould, kids could make Lupin have a good old fight with the stag (yes I know it's a patronus stag, but imagination...) and any potential animagus Sirus dog mould. But I can see potential for both avenues ...

So as someone in the HP thread pointed out, the fact that we are getting a new trans blue stag Patronus in the Harry Potter sets this summer really makes me hope they may have decided that this is the right time to start making force ghosts as minifigures. 'Leaks' for Ep 9 would suggest that force ghosts are going to play a role again in this movie so it would be a great time to implement them. Of course we have got trans blue mini Palp hologram before, so just because a new trans blue mould has been produced means nothing, but the stag is on a considerably larger scale than little Palpy. Here's hoping. :) And yes @Lego-Freak, you get all the credit for starting this discussion. ?

Really not liking those faceprints. Krum is okay, but nothing special, but Fleur's features look oversized / squashed together.

That's what I thought about the colour, but who knows. Just don't think I'll be updating my fig as new number or not, he's clearly hardly different if at all. -

Bringing us back to a forgotten topic, has anyone got the new Droid Gunship and compared the Tarfful minifigure (sw0993) with the 'old' Tarfful (sw0530)? Brickset is insisting he is 'new' but I'm just not seeing it. ? (I don't have the new one, just comparing pics). -

Oh dear! I must say, I have put off buying the imperial officer figs from 75159 because they are quite expensive and 'in case' a ISD was coming as this may have some equal figs, but either way my purse is not happy ?. Hope you don't get (excuse the pun) left out in the cold for your 'leak'. -

I wouldn't say it is fake necessarily; will still don't know the UCS or MBS set for October and the October UCS/MB set is rumoured to be 4000+ pieces. But there is currently no evidence to support it being an ISD. On the other hand, we have had leaked Captain Antilles minifigure and a New Hope Leia minifigure with a new skirt piece and retail listing supposedly naming the May UCS as the Tantive IV. So I would gear your wallet up for a Tantive IV, but keep in mind that you may have an even more expensive set to potentially purchase in October. -
@Alpinemaps Oh no cigarette smell is an absolute no-no for me. I did see a seller recently plagued by negative feedback in that area and left the store like a shot! And as for 3 months ... what! You must have had the patience of a saint lol. The seller contacted me last night and gave me a full refund, acknowledging that these figures could not have been checked properly, so I am pleased the situation was handled swiftly. Like you with the last seller, I gave positive feedback (although mentioning the wrong figs sent) as the seller communicated and resolved the issue quickly and I did not want to harm their status down to that. I also received another domestic Bricklink order today and an international order both of which are perfect so I'm feeling a little more confident in the system. :) Thank you for sharing your experiences and helping me in this matter. :)

@RODDY Exactly. I don't normally say anything, but I'm getting a bit fed up now. I'm not sure how long any true 'leakers' will stay around in this environment. People call out asking for leaks and then when someone does provide info it's like a witchhunt. We should all know by now to take all 'leaks' with a healthy dose of scepticism; Lego can change their plans after all, so even the most trustworthy leakers can/have got it wrong in the past. And you can't blame leakers for trying to protect their jobs. This is all just a hobby after all. Can we please just show some restraint and respect before all the reliable leakers decide that contributing to this forum really isn't worth their time. It seems to be guilty until proven innocent around here. :(

Thank you for your detailed response. I have remained calm and polite and emailed the seller. I am still waiting for their response. I definitely ordered new for all the figures in the order. I understand mistakes happen and I truly hope they will sort it out no hassle. I am a bit sceptical that their store lists 99% figures as new and yet the state of these figs is shocking, so not only did they send the wrong figure, but listed these figures as 'new' and sent them out under that pretence. I did pay by Paypal but have never used their resolution process so don't know how easy that will be. Sadly I am now very dubious about using Bricklink again - I know not all sellers should be judged by the standards of others, but it just seems too risky to spend good money when there is little comeback in the event of disputes. :(

Hi guys, Wondering if anyone can help me with this question. I have bought some SW figures off Bricklink before and all went well so I recently placed an order with a small (but 100% feedback) seller. I am a collector so ordered 'new'. The order arrived today and not only is one of the figures incorrect, but the figs are not 'new'. I'm talking print missing and fading, bite marks and dents. As a collector this means the figs are now worthless to me except of course I have paid for them. I am very disappointed; I normally order off ebay because of the cover provided, but sometimes the items you want just aren't there. I am hoping the seller will be reasonable and offer a solution, but my question is, what cover do I have as a buyer that if I leave truthful negative feedback that the seller won't do the same to me when I am not in the wrong? I have only placed a few orders on BL over the past couple of years so my feedback is good but not expansive. TIA.

I do remember someone leaked the Inferno Squad battlepack really early last year and nobody really believed it so it's not out of the question it seems. -

So take them all with a grain of salt obviously, but there are some Jan 2020 (or December 2019 if you're lucky ?) set name leaks on IG, including an Anakin vs Obi-Wan. -

Aww that's too cute :) I personally don't like them as I don't think they're as screen accurate as the last version and I think they stick out like a sore thumb in the snow, but that is my subjective opinion. I do like the look of the new Snowtroopers though, although the dark tan hands baffle me. ?
