The UK S@H is currently advertising on the thin grey banner at the top of the page that the Newbury Juice Bar promo is free with purchases over £45. I don't know if that's £45 worth of HS or any Lego as the promo actually isn't live yet (it's reported to start on 2nd) and adding £45 + of any Lego, including HS, to my basket does not add the promo. Another Lego mess up, but it does mean that we will be getting the promo in the UK. I know some people over on Brickset having seen the UK calendar thought we weren't and were annoyed about it.

That link works for me. Comes up as having a Hidden Side torso in the basket. Correct? -

Yesterday it said it was shut but you could still click through (in the UK at least) and make up an order for, it would seem, free. It took you to a page like replacement bricks. Recognising that I didn't continue with my order. This morning, however, it is completely shut, except I had an order in my basket and I can still click the 'edit' button and go to the site with prices and make changes and come back through to the basket again. Goodness knows if I would be able to make payment in the end, but they really have got this all messed up. -
Smyths are the same. In fact, Amazon are price matching Smyths I believe. I got a few sets from Smyths the other day on the one rare occasion I was near a store. It felt really good to actually go into a store and pick up the boxes instead of having them delivered. I felt like a kid again! (Side note: some of the Smyths prices on the instore shelf labels were a £1 or £2 above what they were online e.g. Hogwarts Express was £59.99 instead of £58.99 online, but at the till they actually scan at the online price so the same as Amazon.)

UK here too. I placed an order on 17th August for like four pieces, but it's not dispatched yet. Still says In Warehouse. Going on the 7-10 working days shipping it should be here by 30th so there's plenty of time, but I guess I'm just getting jumpy because of all the issues. How quick did yours ship? -

I thing it's just that you can angle the eyes and move them from side to side. -

The Gun Turret set seems like a waste of a set to me. Sure looking at it from a kids perspective they may like a turret, but we've just got something similar in the Death Star Trench Run so it's not really a good argument. It feels like a filler, with an Obi-Wan minifigure with a new (granted more accurate if a little weird looking) head robe piece to get AFOL collectors to want it too. -

The new Yoda is an impressive build; the shaping on the hood and robe on the back look particularly good to me. The face doesn't quite capture Yoda in my opinion and I think it's something to do with the eyes, though I can't fault the designers as this must have been a difficult task to complete. -
@Plissken Great mod! I was interested in the shrimp boat the most, but have to say in person found it a little bare. Your modifications of the mast, net, extra railing and minus the colour wheel make it feel much more authentic. The spooky pic is really cool too.

Think I have. Are they the videos just uploaded to the LEGO Youtube channel? If so, what's the spoiler?

LEGO Disney Minifigures & D2Cs - Rumors and Discussion
BacktoBricks replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Licensed
The set doesn't do anything for me unfortunately, As someone who has never been to Disneyland or Disneyworld, this location means nothing to me. The castle, however, was iconic, but even so I haven't picked that one up either. That being said, I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who will recognise this location and can look at it objectively from that perspective. As I am not one of them though, I am simply looking at this from a moderate Disney fan and Lego fan standpoint and it doesn't do enough in that sense. The train is quaint and reminds me of a more grand version of the Toy Story Western Train, but couple that with what looks to me like a facade of a train station and I'm just not seeing the value, even with the minifigures. If the price point is roughly the same as the castle, then for the piece count and the fact that it has track and battery, then on the surface it seems like reasonable value considering the Disney license, but it's not for me. I am interested to know more of the opinions of those who know the location and those who maybe are simply fans of trains.- 961 replies

I'm the same as you. Local stores take an age and I'm nowhere near a Smyths. For me it was Amazon or Argos and I had an Argos voucher and they had plenty of stock on day 1 so I got it from there. :)

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

Just a heads up in case anyone is interested - Amazon UK currently has 75938 T. Rex vs Dino Mech for 50% off RRP at £39.99. Can't see stock lasting that long at that price! -
I picked up The Rise of Voldemort today and I have to say I think it's an excellent little set. I initially just wanted the figures as I originally got the first ever HP sets as a kid but was then in my dark ages when the latter waves were released so I never got characters like Wormtail. The figures themselves don't disappoint and are very movie accurate. And of course Babymort is just adorable ?. But I've just gone and rewatched the movie scene and it made me appreciate even more how much the set captures the scene. I think Lego could have gotten away with not including the Death Eater and it would still have made a good playset, but I'm glad they didn't as the set really encapsulates the whole episode with the Death Eater included. What with that and Babymort (and knowing Cedric was in the CMF) I really couldn't ask for more. Only thing is, I get the feeling they may have included the Death Eater so people pick up multiples so they can truly create the whole band of Death Eaters that came to the graveyard. Or is that just me being cynical lol? ?

They are from POA as Ron's accessory is Scabbers with his little bald patch. That being said, the hair and face do not match the main line POA Ron from this wave at all in my opinion and make him look like he's more from the Order of the Phoenix age.

Amazing! It takes serious skills to create something like this ?

As far as I know, the $20 price point has not been confirmed, but going on 208 pieces is probably correct. If so, it sounds like a Rey vs Kylo set to me and will probably just come with Anakin and Obi-Wan. Of course I would 100% like to be wrong as I would love an episode 3 Padme, but I just can't see it happening. -
Nope. Mine were yellowed too straight out of the packet. It was something that caught my eye too. I've also had two Harry's with heads so tight even pliers can't pull them off and a Harry with a half printed scar.

I mean, the Hogwarts Express was kept under wraps until pretty late wasn't it? But yeah I can't see this being true. Wish it was, but I doubt it. I could only see it being a Second Task set (which would explain Gabrielle's second face) but that is pure wish listing.

Okay so it sounds like they've dispatched it, but it's either been held up or just got lost as that's 16 business days today. Frustrating I know, but I'd give it a couple of more days and then contact Lego and tell them your order has not arrived yet. I have had quick B+P deliveries, but then others that have gone a little over. I hope you order drops through your post box tomorrow. :) -
That is amazingly creative, but has to be one of the freakiest things I have ever seen! I now have this image stuck in my head ? Good luck with the contest!

It's 7-10 working days (at least for UK), so depending on when last month and taking into account weekends, they may still be in the timescale. Have you had a dispatch email? -
