I don't know I've kind of given up hope for this week (Lego prove me wrong I dare you!). After so many weeks of thinking we may get something and then nothing I just feel a bit flat this week.

So as we probably have a few more days minimum to wait until the CMF release, why don't we play a game of I Spy? Basically, as we have seen the packet we know 9/16 figures (Professor Sprout, Neville, Bellatrix, Luna, Dumbledore, Myrtle, HBP Harry, Kingsley, Griphook) so there are only 7 unknown. If you could 'Spy' just one more figure on the packet, who would it be? Or in other words, if there was just one more figure in the CMF, who would you choose? Character, their outfit and accessory, and why. Mine would be Rita Skeeter, acid green suit, Quick-Quotes quill and notepad tile, because she is not a main character, but not just background and the GOF minifigures just don't feel complete without her and others such as Karkaroff and Merpeople. However, whilst past waves have proven that we can hope for more than just the main characters, unlike Karkaroff and Merpeople I can't see Rita coming in any other set at the moment because even if Lego did go back to GOF and do the Durmstrung Ship or Lake challenge she doesn't really fit with those scenes.

I almost think it would be better if we did think it was Marvel. That way we wouldn't be waiting for it and then it would be a huge surprise.

If pictures of DA or the CMF do eventually leak or if they are revealed out of the blue I'll probably do the biggest double-take, because both feel rather like myths now. So well known and yet not actually real or tangible. ?

Me too. ? I never realised back then though how unique it was in terms of Lego having only done Star Wars sets as a licensed theme until they did Harry Potter.

I agree. Unless DA has some hitherto unknown level of building difficulty there is no need for it to be an 18+ set. Even 71043 Hogwarts Castle is only 16+ as you say and that could arguably be classified as a 'adult' set due to the microscale/display nature. So going on that means that for this theme Lego seems to have made a judgement call that complicated building and display ability does not equal anything more than a 16+.

I know this calendar doesn't say anything like this, but what I find interesting is that days 28 - 30 have been clustered together into a blue VIP box. Why would they put these days together if they had no special VIP meaning? I know the obvious answer is that it's Lego and they often do illogical things, but it seems strange to me. The small text says: 'Sign up for VIP to start earning points towards discounts, exclusive sets, awesome Lego experiences, and lots more.' Could it be two days of buildup followed by the actual release day? The exclusive set could be DA and an awesome Lego experience the VIP Q&A. Just an idea, probably completely wrong, but .

To be honest, I wouldn't either. But then again I wouldn't be surprised if we hear nothing at all next week either. To think that three Fridays ago we thought we might see something and never did. So as the only two leaks that we've seen today are of new Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel sets I'm going to take that as a sign from the Lego gods to just shut myself away and take a nap for a little bit because when I wake up and come out of hibernation DA and the CMF have got to have been revealed.

I don't hold any faith in the leak, but if it is true, that's what I took it to mean. It says New HP polybag "Monster book of monsters". So that to me means that the polybag would be called MBOM not "Monster Book Of Monsters Attack" or such like implying it is a figure based polybag. And the person who posted even says in the comments it's probably brick-built (if it's even real - even they don't seem at all confident!). I could easily see the MBOM being recreated in small brick built form.

I really hope they don't use this box art for DA. I know we've all discussed it before, but your comment just reminded me that it is a possibility.

The Piano's finally been revealed so hopefully DA is next!

I'm guessing they will have an idea of the questions that they want to answer, you know ones that work for their marketing, and they will find the closest questions to these, so they can answer those questions but with some VIP's names attached.
