  1. I know. My gut was telling me if wasn't going to happen this week, but you still hold out hope. :( So am I. :(
  2. Well either Lego is going to make it Fri-yay or we're not getting a CMF reveal this week. :(
  3. 2020 Lego fans: We want more HP Lego! 2025: Lego releases its 5th Ford Anglia since 2018. 2025 Lego fans: 'Did Lego mistake the Ford Anglia for Luke's Landspeeder?'
  4. Moaning Myrtle already complements the Clocktower set though with the Prefects' bathroom and the Mermaid window. That might be why they've done her in blue tone because she does have more of that colouring when she goes in the water.
  5. I really want Rita, a cornish pixie (so a Lockhart version) and I would love a Merperson; they have become ridiculously expensive of late. A Karkaroff would also be welcome. Both merpeople and Karkariff could easily be included in sets though if they go back and fill in scenes.
  6. As long as the make the front of Gringotts wonky then I'll be okay with it.
  7. Thanks! Good memory ? With any luck we may get some figure parts leaked in the next couple of weeks. ?
  8. Speaking of seeing things, the press release for 71043 Hogwarts Castle was released on 25th July 2018 and the set was released for VIPs on 15th August and 1st September for the general public. I know we'd had leaks of the nanofigs before the press release though, although I can't remember how long before (at least a couple of weeks I think, but that's just guessing). Going on that schedule, we may have over a month to wait to hear officially of DA - I think I might go mad waiting!
  9. I'd say he'd be more likely to be in the DA set, but either way I think we'll see him this year.
  10. I can't imagine we'd get the shop, but I definitely picture figures walking down the street with ice creams.
  11. True about the 2010 Hogwarts Express. I really do want B&B, but I feel like Lego is investing enough time and detail into these sets that it could qualify as its own set as there is plenty of DA to cover without including a building from Knockturn Alley in a DA set. That being said, I think B&B will probably be included in the new DA set as it is the 'gateway' to DA for COS and will link up well with The Burrow set released this year. My list would be: Gringotts Ollivander's Weasley's Wizard Wheezes (Borgin and Burkes here if not a stand alone set) The Leaky Cauldron Flourish and Blotts Quality Quidditch Supplies
  12. In HP or any theme? The UCS Falcon springs to mind as having characters from the OT and ST. But in HP no I don't think they have; the closest would of course be the new Privet Drive set technically containing Vernon, Petunia and Dudley in outfits from different films. I think the new DA set may be the first set to span several films though if our suspicions are true. And yes, I would rather the DA set focused on actual DA and then they do B&B as a separate set if including it in DA is at the expense of something like the Leaky Cauldron.
  13. Ah that reminds me; it would be cool to get a Harry with his broken glasses and sooty face as the alternate face.
  14. I know lol. I saw his video days after I'd seen the leaked images and he said he'd done the same as me when he first saw the figure - straight away check the Utapau scene because your damn sure Obi-Wan came out of that fight looking mighty fine and should not be battered up. And yeah, I like the face on the ep 1 Obi from Sebulba's Podracer for instance because it has a good old Obi smirk.
  15. And here was me expecting them to throw in a handful of Lepin. ? This part of the description really gets me though: Ever since 1958, LEGO bricks have met the highest industry standards, which ensures they are consistent and connect and pull apart easily every time – no need to use the Force! LEGO bricks and pieces are tested in almost every way imaginable so you can be sure that this Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith building set meets the highest safety standards here on planet Earth – and in galaxies far, far away! I feel like the write ups are trying to justify the price by promoting a safety aspect to casual consumers who have recently seen the market a lot more contaminated with knock off bricks which must seem more and more appealing in the wake of some of these insane prices. But clearly Obi didn't get the old safety memo though because he somehow managed to get himself beat up instead of looking squeaky clean.
  16. That's the piece I mean - I see it as like a solid window,
  17. Thank goodness I'm not the only one who found it ridiculously hard! I thought I'd somehow regressed since I was 10 because I never use to have a problem putting in the window.
  18. I think so right? ? Exiting - it's a great build!
  19. Haha yes it has the same pig as in the new Pirate Bay set.
  20. You should be . I mean, it has green flames and a pig. What more could you want?
  21. I don't know about a website, but The Burrow has 7 numbered bags and one bag of large plates.
  22. @RogueTwo Haha apologies! ?
  23. Like you say, for the helmets, and some Star Wars sets like the ISD that are meant to be in space, I think it works fine. However, what I love about HP (and the feeling that putting all the Lego sets together creates) is that there is a whole vivid and expansive world to immerse yourself in. But if you take a set and put it against a black box art, you are essentially containing it in a black void and it evokes the complete opposite feelings of vivid or expansive.
  24. If they put such a potentially colourful set in a black box then I would be disappointed, although honestly, I'm more interested in what they do with the set than the box. After spending so much time stressing about boxes arriving in good condition when delivered, and then fretting about where and how to store, I finally decided to part with my boxes a few months ago; as much as I think the HP boxes are some of the best Lego box art and I know discarding boxes is not for everyone, I came to the thinking that it is just cardboard at the end of the day and it causing me so much stress/anxiety is pointless (no this wasn't a lockdown epiphany, but just before the pandemic). It honestly made getting the 2020 sets so less stressful - when a set came in the post and the box was a little dented and a family member pointed it out, it felt good to be able to just wave it away and say 'yeah it doesn't matter.' Like you say though, the black 'adult' box art is quite cringey, at least outside of say architecture sets I think, and it would take all the fun out of what I'm imagining should (and hopefully will be) a very colourful box art. Ironically, whilst I think Lego made the decision to switch to the black box art before the pandemic, I actually find the black boxes rather depressing and 'bleak' at the best of times, so I don't think it's actually very good marketing at the moment.
  25. It's September in the UK, but July for the US according to the Amazon preorder dates.
