He saying that after this year's wave you could put together more families because of the minifigures we already have and the minifigures we will get this year. The Burrow obviously gave us more Weasleys (and DA will hopefully give us Fred and George), it also gave us Bellatrix to go in the Malfoy/Lestrange clan (again it's likely that either DA or CMF will have Lucius), and Tonks to go with Lupin. Then the student pack gave us Hannah Abbott who marries Neville.

He's saying that he warned people not to believe everything on #legoleaks because he was fed up of people pretending to be him and posting false info. Then after he had given that warning, only the false posts were tagged #legoleaks and the AC leak was the first of those 'red herrings'. So ironically you would need to see which posts after that were not tagged #legoleaks to work out if things line up. But like I say, it was kind of self-sabotage. Lego certainly are dancing to their own tune.

I knew a few days ago that Lego was not going to be doing any official panels, but that doesn't mean they can't do their own thing on social media. Also, this is the week that 71043 got revealed two years ago so I think Lego can easily do their own events regardless of SDCC. I also don't think the Q&A ended today; the link wasn't working for me yesterday even though it only dissappeared today, so it really finished on Monday I think. Plus, not wanting to sound pessimistic, but Lego doesn't have to go through all the questions, because they probably only need a few and could quickly find ones that they are 'willing' to answer. I shan't give up hope yet.

Isn't the main convention 23rd - 26th anyway? I'm not saying there will be anything at SDCC, but I wouldn't rule anything out yet for this week whether or not it be SDCC related or Lego just doing their own thing.

Yes they resurfaced yesterday, but interestingly they are not tagging their posts with #legoleaks. Now going on what they said before about people should have paid closer attention to the hashtags, then that means they're not actually 'leaking' anything. Either way, they are unreliable.

I'm glad the twins have dual expressions so they can each be individualised. The centaurs have Dumbledore's hairpiece in black.

I don't think they do. One of the twins has a dress piece the same colour, but it's not the same print. I don't see it wrong in any of the photos ?

I hope so. People on IG are already speculating that the mini Durmstrung Ship build might be a hint that one is coming, but I personally just think they needed to do some minibuilds to fit the theme of GOF and it was an obvious choice and easy thing to replicate in mini scale. That being said, I do hope we get a Durmstrung Ship because the last model is not great, but the prices are ridiculous. After all, a lot of people who don't even like HP would probably be interested in another ship set so I think it would sell well. Already unfollowed. There's just no explaining this one away. Nobody can mistake Cho for Viktor. ?

Me too. It's too early in the line for random Christmas prints for me - Harry and Ron's Christmas jumpers were cool last year because they were screen (and book) based. I'm not into the Christmas figures with SW either, but I can see why people like them for MOCs and things.

There is the argument of course that last year's calendar included 6 minifigures (7 if you count the golden architect statue) and 4 out of those were exclusive. Whereas this year's calendar has 6 minifigures, but only 3 are exclusive. So on the surface it looks like a 'downgrade' in that respect. But if Lego want to include all of the main trio in a calendar, then that only left room for three other characters with fresh outfits this time because of the subject matter of the calendar. However, last time the trio included new prints so there was more room for different minifigures. Print wise though, there are as many new prints because the exclusive figures have both new torso and leg/skirt prints. The last one had four new torso prints - Harry and Ron's jumpers were also new.

Nice that they include a golden egg so that's another way to get that piece. The Yule Bule tile is also a niche print. The mini Beauxbaton Carriage reminds me of Star Wars Advent Calendar with the mini builds.

So much for Viktor being in the AC. But I am so glad he's not and we're getting Cho instead!

It does sound like he's suggesting something, but I wasn't necessarily expecting anything from Comic Con because HP is not comic related, nor is there currently a related film being released. But if there was a con that could feature HP then San Diego would be the one I suppose considering that it has increasingly featured more mainstream entertainment.

No, but some of the contents is. After all, as much as we'd like to, we can't trust legofan_33's info that we are going to get both Patil twins and Viktor Krum in the AC.

I might buy a whole box for the first time, but I really can't afford all the extras and don't want the hassle of selling them on. Am I right in thinking that Lego has offered full boxes of CMFs for sale on the Lego website for the last three or so CMF?

Really don't know tbh. I'm shielding so my usual route of feeling the packets in my local Sainsburys is not going to happen. But I also don't want to buy a whole set online because that just takes the fun out of it. I'm going to have to see what the situation's like close to the time and decide what I'm going to do.

Ah pygmy puffs! Well at least we all know now probably not to expect it this week and after this week there can't be that many weeks remaining for them to reveal it.
