Thanks guys, I just added another Agent Drawing. Gotta love the bad guys, I think I'm going to have to buy this set just for the figs.

So, I think she may be my new favorite minifig, but I have yet to get her. So I thought I would draw up a Dyna Mite inspired drawing. Let me know what you all think.

Now taking YOUR ideas for the future of LEGO Pirates theme
Apache replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
Port/town - 1 shop, 1 pub, a dock, 4 civilians, 3 soldiers, 3 pirates, pigs, accessories $99 Navy Ship - Need ship that can rival Brickbeards Bounty, I don't care if it's French or British, just get it done TLC!!! $79 Small Pirate Ship- A small $49 ship with 4 pirates and a stow away or a prisoner like others have said Another Modular Fort that we can add on to the soldiers fort $39 -
HK, thanks. Yeah, they are both cool. Although I feel bad for the Blue Coats because as soon as those Tic Tac Toes come to my town on Friday, they are going to be really, really, really outnumbered. Althouh I have 11 soldiers arsenals lying unopened right now in a bin, so maybe reinforcements won't arrive just yet. Green A, thanks, it was fun. I actually wasn't planning on making a moc, just decided to build a playset so I could battle with the troops and after the fortress facade had been built I decided to set up the figures for a moc. It took 4 1/2 hours from the first brick on the baseplate to the airbrushing with photoshop. I know, I have a bunch of civilians, potter, Johnny Thunders that just don't fit in. Hard to make soldiers out of them, but you could put some pirate wraps and a cutlass and they could pass for pirates for you soliders to kill. I only had Sabre island, with 3 blue coats growing up and I remember having so much fun with just those three swabs. Imagination is the key.

Sure, send me your redcoasts Dr. and I will send you a bunch of BrickBeards :) LOL I know what you meant.

Well Adam... it is a fight between Red Coats and Blue Coats so your bound to have a little jawing back and forth :) I like it and counted on it :) and I have yet to decide who wins this little war, but I'm about to go finish it and will take a pic and post it. It's just Adobe photoshop. I used the brush tool and turned the opacity to like 20 which made a foggy, misty look and then turned the opacity up a little bit each time untill I got an opaque white. Dont' know if you can adjust the opacity in paint.

Phes, sorry....I don't know what I was thinking, I will make sure Mocs go in here from now on. I don't know how to make the link the small image, thanks for doing that for me. I've added a link to pic of the larger moc. It's basically a facade. I got some new parts and figs and this is basically what happened. I need to get some more white pieces and I might try my hand at actually building a fort or port. I like that you guys all have different views on who's winning, let me know if your opionions have changed once you've seen the larger picture. The Redcoats definately outnumber the blues, but the blues have the high ground and seem to be doing a pretty good job of picking off the leaders. But can that ram ball and powder fast enough to stop the the horde of british marines.

Nice Work Commodore...very nice.

Vig. 87a Click HERE for a view of almost the entire moc or see below. And HERE for another Well, I will admit, I stink at building. That is part of the reason I decided not to take up arms in the Blue v.s. Red battle coming. And I can't really decide which side I'm on. Maybe I'm a Spaniard deep down. It took me 4 hours to build a little moc today and get everything right and I realized I don't nearly have enough or the right kind of bricks, or the knowledge. I guess I spend to much time drawing and playing with the minifigs.

Right now I'm thinking about the person who works in the factory sitting by the bucket of red brown rifles and has to bend the arm and place the rifle in the hand the right way. Do you think they hate their job?

capn Kirk, I love your artwork, and this indian fig is Awesome. Good job on the leggings, and I like the face paint. Now he just needs a custom mohawk hairpiece

+1 for Booger. Fair and honest, will trade with again. +1 for Juiniormark Excellent Trader, fast shipment from Germany to US. -
Thxs, the Red Coat was done in Crayon and then scanned and I flitered it with Photoshop. I think I used the Paint Daub technique. Gen. A is right, it does have that pastel look to it. Joey, there is alot you don't know about her

SAHWEEEEEEEEEEEET! How many did your lego store have in stock, I think I'll head over to mine today to see if they have any. $20 is awesome, only $2 per fig. I'm buying at least 5 if they have them. Great Review, and really answers alot of the questions flying around about this set.

Arrrrrr Hound Knight you scurvy Art Dog, ye be drawing some mighty fine drawings laddy. You inspired me to take a break from drawing realistic ones and get back to some minifig drawings, I hope you like you salty sea dog. Show me some pirates matey. My favorite is Houndblower, he looks like he's tired of taking crap from someone talking trash across the table and he is going to pounce and turn the offending minifig into a pirate kabob! P.S. Spent about 30 minutes sketching a realistic Brick Beard and they were both crap, I will try again tomorrow. Night Attack Camilla Kidnapped (don't worry Mr. Phes, she's a strong tart, and I'm sure she will escape before they make her walk the plank! :) "

What country and how much? So curious!!!!!!! -

"Exterminate!" These are awesome, very nice. You captured the essence of the Dialeks. Makes me want to watch Dr. Who, the older ones that is.

Hmmmph...I for one am not happy about this one. First off, if this is like the other battlepacks it will cost around $15 USD meaning the Tic Tac Toe set with twice as many figs might be $30 USD, GULP!!!!! I was hoping the tic-tac toe set would stay at 18.99 to 21.99 USD and LEGO would use is as a battle pack, army builder, and even sell some just because someone wanted a Novelty Tic-Tac Toe. But now this? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for variety and this reminds me of the Pirates minifig set that I coveted back in teh days but I will buy the Tic-Tac toes over this or just keep bying Soldier Arsenal's like Blue Hair mentioned. It would of been nice to have ONE new fig, just ONE included. But maybe there will be some new torsos/figs in the new sets and this is a way for TLC to still print Redcoats.

Pirate Island with harbor mountain beach and many more
Apache replied to maydayartist's topic in Pirate MOCs
Nice work my Man, nice work. How long do you leave a moc this size together before it gets torn apart? -
Thanks Fenris, Duke and Klaus. I usually don't post castle pics over here because for some reasong most are residing in that Classic-Castle place :) Yes, Commissions are welcomed. I work for legos, so a fig or 2 and I will draw what you want. Also, as Fenris knows, I will usually throw Art Work in with my trades.

Apache replied to The Cobra's topic in LEGO Pirates
How fast do the Tic-Tac toe sets sell out? They were always sold out online when I tried to buy them before and luckily bought the last 3 at my Lego Store I'm thinking these will at least be in the $20 range because of the new figs. I'll buy at least 5 -
