The rule that I follow is, Black or dark value depending on color on the sides or outside, and white/light value on the inside, add depth and gives that "Shiny" look. If I didn't leave enough white I can always touch it up with white acrylic paint, which I often do Ratshot- Muchas Gracias mi amigo

:) Mine came with black hair. About an hour from pencil, ink, eraser, rendering, to scanning. If they have more details like the govnah one, it takes longer. They are small post card sized, which saves on art supplies and time, but is a bit harder because I have to be really steady with my and it's easy to mess up. Glad you like :)

A comic version of The Admiral's Daughter. I put too much INK around her eyes, but other than that, I'm pleased with it.

Star Wars Pic has been updated. Jango, I only have HP figs and accessories, not complete sets. I do have alot of HP castle pieces and stuff.

Dude, welcome to the site. There is nothing wrong with being an adult and buying lego and building and playing with it. Buying those lego sets is so much better than spending all your coin at the bar. And what better way to get back at your boss than making his minifig walk the plank of your new Brickbeards Bounty. So take it from this 31 year old, buy ALL of the sets. FYI, the soldier arsenal set is HIGHLY addicting, I've allready bought 20 and I'm going to buy more. :skull:

Hey Man, I have some of the things your looking for.... 1- Droid Pilot with blue torso 1- Battle droid with Orange torso ? (not sure if this is one you want) 1- Wookie Warrior 1- yellow Luke skywalker from Endor 1- Tusken Raider - (need to check and see if I can find head, right now he doesn't have one) 1- yellow head pilot luke My top priority is Indian and Cavalry Figs from the western theme and extra head gear that goes with those figs. If you don't have those I'm also interested in * Horses, saddles * Gray Rifles, brown muskets, both kinds of pistols * Heads with gray face mask and white face mask * Soldiers from Pirate Theme and Armada guys with conquistador helms * Maybe other western figs, some castle stuff -depends on torsos. THE 10% IS NOT AVAILABLE INSTORE, at least in the Arizona stores. I asked several employess and then talked to a manager and she didn't know anything about it, we looked at the website and she showed me where it says ONLINE only. Just FYI. They did not have Tower Raid on sale or I would of bought all three, they did have some of the new Star Wars sets.

:) Ahhh...there is alot that we don't know about from the Time Luke and Leia are born to "A New Hope" I drew this pic from the orginal minifig, I probably should of looked at a yoda picture. I think the hardest thing about drawing lego figs, is the right angles in the torso and legs and in this case making that mesh with yodas normal head. Thanks for all the props, if enough people like this, I will do some more Star Wars Lego Art. Yeah, I think there should be a thread or place to post Artwork. Fenris, no problem, thanks again for trading, enjoy the figs and art. It's small, postcard size, so finding a frame would be easy and it's small enough that it would fit on a desk. :) The sky is orange but didn't really show up that way in the scan. Thank you all for the comments, I'm having a vision of a pirate rowing a boat laden with treasure as soldiers fire muskets at him from the shore. Or a pirate carrying of the Guvnah's daughter over his shoulder firing a pisto at his pursuers. Just visions in my head at the moment. Stay posted, I will try to do another drawing before my Disneyland Trip.

Thanks Swabs for the compliments. And thanks Phes for the love. I just finished a Gov. Broadside piece, took 2 1/2 hours, but I must admit it might be my favorite lego drawing that I have done. I hope you all like it.

Clone Wars really sucks in the kids. One more year of Pirates would be great, like the others said, the more we buy the better chance we have of another year. Spaniards, Islanders would be heavanly and an Imperial ship and $99 soldier fort would be sweet. I got the money and will spend it if only LEGO will make it.

I have a bad feeling that there won't be any new Pirate sets. The Pirate sets are not doing well here in AZ, sets really havn't flown off the shelves like the Power Miners, Agents and Castle Sets. I hope I'm wrong.
