Thank you all, check my flicker site later as I plan on making some more interesting compositions once the blue building is built. :) Yeah, I drew him and the Wolf Pack guy last night. I've been wanting to draw lego for a while and finally got the pencil and markers out and made some. I plan on doing more!

Thank you all for the kind comments. I love the way the photos turned out and thought it would inspire, so it makes me want to take more when I hear the positive feedback. Strider, I'm not sure what your economical situation is at the present time, but I highly reccomend this set. I hesitated for a moment at the lego store, thinking, "$100 dollars is quite a bit of coin for plastic bricks" I'm so impressed with this set, I might even hold off buying Brick Beards Bounty and buying another one, it's awesome. I waited 30 years for a set like this, and now it has come! Buy it!

Finished the 2nd building..seriously, if you havn't bought this set yet, what are you waiting for? Skip a meal, charge it on the credit card, ask Mom and Dad for an advance on your allowance, get the cash and get the set. It is my favorite of all time. If you need more motivation check out the pics on the link below More pics.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/8537249@N04/s...57612490993085/

Wow...all of those themes would be cool! But Lego needs to finish what it started in the late 90's and give us more Western!
-
It's wonderful. Legostore in AZ had plenty! I have to admit though, it took me 3o minutes to finally decide between BB's Bount and this one.

Fantastic. I am imagining a deadly arrow slicing through the chilly air only to sink into his blue army issue coat, his yellow hand clutching the Bugle as he tries to muster the breath to send the alarm and then like a rock his body falls onto the dusty fort floor below. "Every Man to his post, were being ATTACKED!!!"

Zohauve, Make sure to bring some minifigs on your trip, it is alot of fun to arrange them and then see the picture enlarged on the computer. Yes, they are correct. My native americans are all custom made from lego parts as I have never owned a true native lego set. I've seen alot of pictures of apaches wearing cowboy hats and cavalry trooper pants so that was the inspiration behind that. I'm glad you all like them, it was pretty windy and some figs kept falling into the abyss and I had to keep resetting them. Enjoy and I hope to go camping here soon and will definately take some figs. Apache

VBBN, thanks. I've posted some other WW photos in posts below. :)

Great job on this and the sig, I would definately buy this WW set. I just wish they would Lego would make some new sets. On second thought I might be dissapointed if they didn't meet my expectations.

Two more and the last one is my favorite shot of the day. Hunting down any surviors on horse Windage and Elevation

It must have been Turkey day that worked the Apaches up into a frenzy because they robbed and raided the entire weekend. Unfortunately for them they ran into a detachment of Cavalry and a fight broke out killing 13 Apache warriors and the chase was on. The Cavalry chased the Apache across the salt flat to the foothills of the Sierra Oro where the Apache ditched their horses to hide among the cracks and crevices of Granite Ridge. It was here where the ensuing battle took place. Lots of Ammo and lots of Sharps Only four remain Kablam, klik-klak....KABLAM! Not going down with out a fight Whooooohmmmpffffff........Aahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!............... Hand to Hand Aaaaaaiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, thank you. It is very encouraging to hear how many of you like these shots, it makes me want to take more. I was setting up a scene this morning but the wind kept blowing the figures off of the cliff, so I will have to shoot another day. Apache

Muchas gracias to all of the compliments. Dir Dillion I was using my Cannon XTI 400D with a 55 mm portrait lense.

I'm glad you all enjoy the pics as well as how they are inspiring some of you to get those legos back outside. I finished shooting up the miner and Apache with the sun still in the sky, so I had a bit of a wait untill the sun was just right. I'll be posting more the next time I can get out there. Thanks again for the compliments.

Last moments of a rich man Thanks Tinypies, I had the day off so I was able to get out to my spot and snag some pictures before the light faded. This was the last shot of the day and probably my favorite. Enjoy.

You are going to LOVE photoshop.

Excellent topic, although there probably are not very many who like WW history as Castle seems to dominate. Alas, I have been to a few ghost towns out here in AZ and love the history of the state and the WW.
-
Glad to hear that so many of you like the photos, thanks for the feedback. I'll keep taking them and posting them.

A new pic of a lone bandit wandering the barren arroyo in search of water.

Beautiful. This has inspired me to build. Love the design of the tower, the overall moc, and great quality pics. My favorite is the carrot pedals and the blury moc background.
