Thanks Admiral and Phes. I used Prismacolor Markers, Colored Pencils and Copic Markers. (My favorite, but $$$, but worth it) Yeah, I'm definately interested in helping out, let me know what your looking for.

The ink hasn't yet dried on this one, but I had to get it online and show you guys. I've been buying quite a few Soldier Aresenals of late so I decided to draw some of them instead of buying more. Of course I probably will end up going to the Lego Store again and getting some more. Enjoy, I plan on doing some more Pirate related Drawings, so if you have any ideas or something you think would be cool drawn, send it my way. Enjoy Click Here For Awesome Art Alot of requests for some Blue Coat action, so I thought what better than a shot of GuVnah Broadside hacking through redcoats. I remember trading 3 shako blue coats for him when my friend got the Eldorado Fortress. Enjoy, I hope it inspires you to get your legos out and have some fun.

Build Your Own Minifig now at Lego Stores
Apache replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, I after hearing about the new Create A Minifig stations, I thought I better go check out the Arizona store. Like many of the others, Horrible Selection. 5 different colored legs 4 torsos, all civilian 8 different heads- (the most extensive selection of the stations) and the most deplorable part of the station was the accessories and head gear. Shovels, brooms, binocs and yellow cups were the choices and there was not head gear options. It was deplorable, yet moms were helping their kids put the figs in the plastic cases and they were buying them. -
A great topic. No one can deny that the creativity of playmobil has trumped lego in the past. Like others have said, Lego is made for the builder to be creative. I do love the accessories that Playmobil creates, pipes, sword holders, holsters, and the wild west sets were fantastic. I have most of my playmobil to my nephew because he's 2 and then when he is 5 it will be all about the lego....small hands work better on the larger Playmobil dude.

Huge Price Increase for Pick A Brick Items!
Apache replied to Eurospanol25's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Maybe the other poster was right, Lego is going after BL , BF and Brick Arms to force people to buy at these prices. It's the only feasible reason why they think they could possibly make money with these price hikes. As far as PAB losing money before.... How much does it cost to hire two dudes to sit in a room and load bags of bricks into baggies and seal it with a twisty tie? I didn't do to well in Math Class back in the day...but if I remember right selling 100x minifig heads at .13 a piece nets alot more money than 3 heads at .50 a piece. Keep banging the service center with emails, we love LEGO and we will spend our hard earned cash and allowance on LEGO, but we should do so and not feel violated. Heres an example of the violation for all of those who are defending the price hike 6X Cherries 1X Chest 1X Chest lid 2X Minfig Heads 1X White Beard 1X Barrel -------------------------- SUB TOTAL USD $11.50 + TAX and SHIPPING!!!!! INSANE!!!! -
Huge Price Increase for Pick A Brick Items!
Apache replied to Eurospanol25's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If any of you havn't emailed TLC yet, please do so. The more emails they get from us dedicated buyers saying were not going to pay these ridiculous prices, then the more of a chance we have for them to nut it up and switch the prices. -
Huge Price Increase for Pick A Brick Items!
Apache replied to Eurospanol25's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah Mike, I admit, I'm a little peeved. I guess when I finally saved a little bit of coin to order some legs, torsos and hair pieces and then to be SHOCKED like I was.... I just don't think it's right. The Rich get Richer and the poor get poorer If this is for real than it might be the motivation I needed to go back to the dark ages. I will have alot of LEGO for sale. LEGS will only be .75 USD -

Apache replied to Eurospanol25's topic in General LEGO Discussion
HERE's MY LLR (LEGO LETTER RESPONSE) Thank you for your email and interest in LEGO® Pick A Brick and LEGO Digital Designer. We have recently made several changes to our Pick A Brick selection which include: 500 new elements The biggest and most comprehensive assortment ever More colors Most recent doors and windows More longer beams to enable larger construction More accessories, such as head dresses More mini-figures including girls and children More cool tires and rims As we have added these new choices, we have also taken our first-ever price increase in select Pick A Brick elements. During the process of putting these prices in our systems, we found that several items had been mispriced. Please accept our apology for this confusion. We are working to correct this unfortunate mistake. Thank you for your ongoing interest in the LEGO Company and our products. Huge Price Increase for Pick A Brick Items!
Apache replied to Eurospanol25's topic in General LEGO Discussion
TLC just lost a customer if this is for real. .25 USD for legs to 1.00 USD...PLUST TAX AND SHIPPING!!!! FORGET THAT! Like the other one said before me, I used to add a $40-$60 PAB order on top of whatever I ordered from Lego.com... I'm so appalled at this price hike that I don't even want to buy any LEGO BOXED SETS. Disgusted! It better be glich or they have a WAR coming. -
I just recieved my first ever order of Brick Forge swords and the dragon sword fit perfect in the hands of this Troll Warrior. If you don't own any BF items, I suggest you get some..they RULE!!!! So I've been thinking of drawing what I think Troll Minifigs should be based off of and here is what popped in my head. I hope you all enjoy...and it inspires you to build and battle.

Thanks Zorro...here is an evil dark elf and a dwarf that I did and I thought I would include him.
-
Thats a tough one. Being that I don't own any, I guess I would have to ask myself which one I want most..of course I would wan the rapid river. But I would rather have 30 tribal chiefs so I could have my sioux cavalry! Tribal Chief it is!

Thanks everyone! Drawing LEGO is a great outlet. Dadster, I have commissions for people before with other Art, but never LEGO. I'm definately open to it... Art for Lego sounds good :)

Thanks for the kudos guys, he was fun to draw but more fun when I know other people like to look at the drawing...I'm going to try to do some more of these, I really like the way this one came out. Dadster, I havn't been over to Brick Journal, I'm going to check it out now. Submissions? Not sure what you mean Jason
