  1. Don't worry dear, no one will be able to harm you now I've got my knife back. For those without weapons... ... So each of you, break off a couple of pieces of Jack Baxter and we'll be all set.
  2. Great stuff! That hoplite is fantastic, it looks like he even has some sandals! I'm not in love with that spear though, it looks a little too clunky for my taste. All in all though he looks great, they've nailed him pretty well. The second wave looks to be just as great as the first, I can't wait for these to come out.
  3. Private Tom Perot of the 42nd Regiment reporting. I have keenly participated in many a battle, and it pains me to bear witness to the many deserters who tread on the Imperial Army's esteemed name. I await further instructions.
  4. http://krisabel.ctv.ca/image.axd?picture=2...2010tstory7.jpg (From Kris Abel's coverage of the Canadian Toy Fair) A green IJ Nazi torso? Is that a prelim design? I would've loved to have had a couple of those in my 7595.
  5. Sign me up please. The game looks great so far, I love that poster.
  6. I hadn't noticed this had been bumped. Unfortunately I haven't made much more progress since, but I did make a start on a new roof. The new roof: And a few pics of it in action, from Noir Mafia : ... And finally what we've been waiting for: Enjoy!
  7. "Use s.n.o.t." ?
  8. Unless I've counted wrong, there are 17 letters and 16 spaces...
  9. Thanks for the comments everyone. Yes, I agree. Unfortunately I only own the yellow Harry Potter heads, and I didn't want to make a bricklink order for this MOC. As I said, the minifigs must be preliminary. Thanks. That probably is a better torso choice, I hadn't thought of that. I had originally thought of the Spiderman Aunt May torso but as I said, I didn't make any bricklink orders. Thanks again.
  10. When the Indy line was "discontinued", I was disappointed TLC hadn't made sets for a few of the rather memorable scenes, one of them being the fight in Marion's Nepalese bar in Raiders. So I had a go at making one myself. Enjoy! First, a still from the film: The whole set (excuse the photoshopping ): Indy fights with one of the Nepalese thugs behind the bar counter: Counter and wine cabinet: The back of the counter: Toht attempts to interrogate Marion about the whereabouts of the Staff of Ra headpiece (silly man, it's in her hand!): The fireplace... ... And just to add some playability, pulling out the technic axle will cause a generous amount of fire pieces to fall out into the room: The minifigs (Toht has no glasses, these must just be the preliminary pics ): Thanks for looking. Feedback is much appreciated.
  11. I think it must be talking about the pile of headlight bricks: Perhaps we have to stack them in that order?
  12. A swastika! The Nazis must've gotten to the temple first! What was that? It looks like a shadow of some sort. Maybe we should get someone to swing that silver sword in it's general direction.
  13. Could we stick Chris' stone into the tile labeled "missing piece", so that the 1x1 plate sticking out the bottom of the stone fits into the 1x1 indent in the missing piece?
  14. It's great to see you're doing this again this year, put me down. Last year's fig will be good. Thanks.
  15. I wonder if Penny's necklace has something to do with this...
  16. Thanks Bob and Darth, that was good fun. It's a good thing WhiteFang managed to save himself from dying at the last minute. Otherwise we may have been in trouble. We wouldn't have been able to convert any more people, which would mean we'd be stuck with only 4 scum, which would've meant we'd have to cause another 3 or so more unanswered townie deaths to win the game. It would've also made Sandy trustworthy to the town, which may have been a problem later on. I'm surprised to see there was no town roleblocker, that certainly would've helped me out if I was forced to make a roleclaim at some point. As I was reading this for the first time, I was thinking I was going to end up as the usurper of Boss Shadows. That would've made for a nice role reversal - the "meat-shielded becomes the meat-shielder", or something like that. Well, thanks for hosting Bob and Darth Legois, nice work.
  17. Hmm, how do you know you're a sane investigator? Was the third person you investigated yourself? I admit I've found both Ryan and John Wilder suspicious. Don't rule out the possibility Ryan is the mafia godfather though, who is usually immune to investigations. Not to mention that from the information from Day 1 and the "sign-up thread" of life, there seems to be some sort of informant within the BOI. Until we get a meaningful explanation from him, I'll Vote: Ryan Alberts
  18. I guess I'll follow the footprints backwards from the rock to see where they came from.
  19. Hmm, fascinating stuff. While I ponder on all of this information, I'd like to test out these "state of the art" facilities we've got here.
  20. Well, here we are. What a beautiful place this is, look at all those lovely ruins! I'll take a look at those odd stone tablets over there by Samantha.
  21. Very nice, the soldiers look great in black. I love the blend of old and new lego elements. The new shakos work very well in making these figs stand out. My one complaint would be the black hips. I can't stop thinking they're wearing a superhero-type costume, with underwear over their pants. I feel red hips may work better. Also, just to create some more variety, perhaps give the general this Dracula torso? Other than that, great work, I love them.
  22. Harry Potter had a break in 2006, and in 2007 another Hogwarts castle was released. They're releasing a Harry Potter video game too, which would suggest they still have the license even now. It's a shame if it is gone for good though, there are still plenty of sets to make (Nepalese bar, Nazi submarine, TLC circus train, Nazi tank, Grail Temple). Prince of Persia seems a good enough replacement though, I could certainly see some of the sets being modded into Indy scenes (Making the Grail Temple out of 7572 wouldn't be too hard).
  23. I've just been shuffling through some of the old photos again, and found a couple of possible clues... From Today: Chief Johnson and one of the Wilder brothers were not present when the National Guard arrived. I wonder why not? Police duties? If so, why was one of the officers still present at the scene? Also: Ryan Alberts can usually be seen carrying what looks like a bottle of alcohol and a wine glass. Hasn't our town prohibited alcohol? Where has Ryan got this from then? It was said in the sign up thread of life, "In the tiny town of Stapleton, Pennsylvania, the dreaded Mafia controls all the liquor consumption, in their speakeasy's."
  24. You're right, we need to vote someone off today. We won't be getting any more information tonight with no night actions, so tomorrow we'll be in the same situation as we are now if we don't vote. I'm still not convinced about voting off Dr. Wilkerson though, for reasons I've already stated. It seems clear to me he has an important night action for the town.
  25. Just like Mr. Willis, I don't see how Dr. Wilkerson is spreading confusion. All he's done is say that he knows for a fact there are 3 killers. If anything, he's trying to clarify things for us. As I've said already, he wouldn't benefit from lying about something like that, because if we discovered later there were only 2 killers, he'd be toast. The only other thing he's done is call you out, which is by no means grounds to kill someone. And as I've said before, more is lost from a poorly thought out vote than from no vote at all. We don't have to convict someone every day if we have no good reason to do so. I just remembered what the Governor said today too:
